Hello, We have recently moved to a larger home in a quiet, green neighborhood right next to Clingendael Park and the Haagse Bos. This location offers direct access to some of the nicest walking routes in the area. The house has plenty of indoor space and a fully enclosed garden with grass and high hedges. Dogs can safely move around, relax outside or play, depending on their energy level. The garden is a big advantage for dogs that like having outdoor access without constant leash time. Our jobs are hybrid and we coordinate our schedules so that usually one of us is working from home. This means there is regular presence throughout the day and your dog is not left alone for long periods. We have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have been doing this since before our daughter was born. We now have a toddler at home who is used to being around dogs and enjoys their company. Because of this, it is important that your dog is comfortable around young children. At home, we keep things calm and structured. We follow a consistent routine with walks, feeding, rest and downtime. Walks are often in Clingendael or the Haagse Bos, depending on the dog and weather. Inside, dogs have space to settle and we provide simple enrichment like toys and interaction. We do not take puppies younger than 6 months. Before confirming a stay, we like to understand your dog a bit better: – How they are with other dogs – Any triggers or specific behaviour – Whether they have separation anxiety or bark frequently – Whether they are comfortable around toddlers We live in a quiet residential area with neighbors nearby, so we only accept dogs that fit a calm environment and do not bark excessively. Safety and clear communication are important to us. We keep things straightforward, maintain a secure setup and aim to make the stay predictable and comfortable for both dog and owner. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel relaxed while away from their pets. Safety is very important to me. I keep a clean and pet-safe environment at home and stay calm and responsible in unexpected situations or emergencies. For safety reasons, I prefer vaccinated pets. Because I am a university student with a flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. In most cases, they would stay with me throughout the day. If I have a morning class, usually between 9:00 and 11:30, pets may be alone for a short time, but never more than around 2 hours. I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and settled before leaving. I understand that pets are family members, and I will always care for them with love, patience, and responsibility as if they were my own 🐾

Wij zijn een warm en gezellig samengesteld gezin. We hebben een tweeling van 4 jaar oud en daarnaast zijn er de helft van de tijd ook pubers in huis, in de leeftijd van 15 tot 21 jaar. Omdat we deze beslissing zorgvuldig willen nemen, willen we eerst ervaren hoe het is om een hond in ons gezin te hebben. Daarom lijkt het ons fijn om via Petbnb een aantal keer op een hond te passen. Zo kunnen we ontdekken of een hond goed bij ons gezin en onze levensstijl past. Onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een Cavapoo of een andere kleine Labradoodle-kruising, omdat we denken dat dit type hond goed bij ons past. Daarom passen we het liefst op een hond met een vergelijkbaar karakter en formaat. Aan het einde van dit jaar verhuizen we naar Berkel en Rodenrijs. Tot die tijd wonen we in een huis met een ruime woonkamer, een fijne tuin en veel mooie wandel- en uitlaatgebieden in de directe omgeving. We kijken ernaar uit om een hond alle aandacht, liefde en beweging te geven die hij of zij verdient. We behandelen iedere hond alsof het onze eigen hond is en vinden het belangrijk dat zowel de hond als de eigenaar zich prettig en vertrouwd voelt.

Wat een fantastische eerste oppasdag voor Fedde! Margo en Neal zijn echt superlieve, zachte mensen. Hun rustige energie straalde meteen op Fedde af. Hij voelde zich volkomen op zijn gemak en we zagen aan alles dat hij echt ontspannen was. Het was ook zo fijn om tussendoor de foto's van Margo te krijgen, daar spatte het plezier vanaf! Het wegbrengen ging zonder problemen, en bij het ophalen wilde hij niet eens mee terug. Dat zegt genoeg en hij bleef heerlijk relaxed liggen en kwam pas in beweging toen Margo en Neal naar de deur liepen. We zijn echt ontzettend blij dat we bij jullie zijn uitgekomen en hopen dat Fedde nog heel vaak mag komen logeren! Thuis hebben wij altijd honden gehad. We gingen vaak samen wandelen in de bossen en op het strand. De honden waren allemaal van verschillende rassen: van golden retriever tot vuilnisbakjes :) Op mijn veertiende kreeg ik mijn eigen hond, daar heb ik met veel plezier en liefde voor gezorgd❤️ We hebben samen ook op hondentraining gezeten. Ik vind het altijd erg leuk om te wandelen. Ik probeer elke dag 10.000 stappen te zetten dus neem ik graag iemand mee om samen mee te wandelen! Na het wandelen vind ik het natuurlijk ook gezellig om samen uit te rusten op de bank.

In ons huis wonen dus geen andere dieren (meer) maar wel 2 kinderen (11+) die gewend zijn aan het omgaan met een hond. Ik vind het belangrijk om goede instructies te krijgen zodat ik de best mogelijke zorg kan geven aan uw hondje. Ik laat de hond(jes) 3-4 keer per dag uit en respecteer graag instructies van het baasje zodat uw hond dezelfde liefde, aandacht en aanwijzingen krijgt als thuis. Bij ons is er bijna altijd iemand thuis. Lekker wandelen,spelen en knuffelen. Wij wonen vlakbij het bos. Laten we kennismaken en kijken of het klikt! Please note that my apartment is on the second floor and is only accessible via a fairly steep staircase. To protect dogs' backs, I always carry them up and down the stairs. For this reason, I can comfortably host small dogs (up to around 10 kg), but unfortunately I'm not able to accommodate larger dogs. Gezin met drie meiden zoekt oppashond!

Onze meiden van 10, 7 en 4 jaar zouden het geweldig vinden om een hond te hebben. Pa ook trouwens ;) Die heeft vroeger bij zijn ouders thuis altijd honden gehad dus is er ook heel vertrouwd mee. Ik vind honden ook heel leuk, alleen wil ik er geen jaren achter elkaar rekening mee moeten houden. We hebben ook een camper waarmee we spontane weekendjes weg gaan, dat wordt wat lastig met een hond die niet altijd mee kan. Een oppas- of logeerhond zou een goede oplossing zijn! Een hond die makkelijk in de omgang en geen probleem met kinderen heeft, zou daarom gewenst zijn. Ik werk 1 dag per week buitenshuis en werk verder thuis dus dat is ideaal. Een klein of middelgroot, vriendelijk ras is welkom bij ons! Geen langere logeerperiodes, maximaal een week. We hebben zelf een kat. We horen graag van je!

I have been in love with dogs ever since I was born. Now I have a chocolate lab. It's her 10th year with us. But she is in my hometown with my parents and I miss her so much. Which is why I decided to become a dog walker to begin with. I have 10 years of experience walking dogs and playing with them, and 20 years of experience loving them. I am definately an animal person! I have lived in the Netherlands for 10 years, and had my own cats since 2020. My cats are british short hair, one blue cat and one white. In 2022, they gave birth to 4 baby kids. After the baby cats born, I had kept all of them (6 cats) for 3 months by my own. Now I gave all my baby kids to my friends, I only have 2 cats at home now. Although I do not have dogs, I also love them. I always play with my friends’ dog, and they all love me! ❤️I love animals with all my heart!
