Rennen, wandelen, spelen om daarna lekker relaxen. Niks leuker dan een contente viervoeter! Ik beleef een fantastische connectie met dieren en heb dan zelf ook altijd dieren gehad. (Honden, katten, konijnen, geiten, vissen, cavia's en hamsters). Het zijn de grootste schatten op aarde. Ook heb ik een aantal keer nestjes met kittens en pups gehad en begrijp ik hierdoor goed hoe energiek jonge wezentjes kunnen zijn. Ik weet honden en katten een fijn, veilig en vertrouwd gevoel te geven. Omdat ik zelf twee katten thuis heb ontvang ik geen dieren thuis en kom ik graag bij jou thuis op jouw viervoeter passen. Ik ga er graag met ze op uit voor een wandeling en naar bos of strand. Wat ook één van mijn hobbies is. Loving home away from home 🩵

I am a former pet owner, have grown up with a wonderful labrador, and have looked after cats and dogs for most of my life. My boyfriend and I have a cute apartment in the countryside, we have a flowerful balcony, and we’re surrounded by green. There are lots of areas where your pets can enjoy themselves. I work from home most of the time, and would love to have some furry company. Due to travelling we’re unfortunately unable to have a pet ourselves, but petsitting would fill that void! Hondenoppas in Monnickendam

Ik ben mijn hele leven al gek op honden en sinds vijf jaar is mijn labradoodle Dolly een groot onderdeel van mijn leven. Ze is ontzettend sociaal en vindt het altijd gezellig om andere honden om zich heen te hebben. Omdat ik veel thuis ben, lijkt het me ontzettend leuk om samen met Dolly op andere honden te passen. Dolly en ik lopen minimaal drie keer per dag een groot rondje. Buiten is ze lekker speels en enthousiast, terwijl ze binnenshuis juist rustig en relaxed is. Ze kan goed met andere honden overweg en vindt het vooral leuk om samen te spelen en op pad te gaan. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich bij ons net zo comfortabel voelt als thuis. Daarom neem ik graag de tijd om hem of haar aandacht te geven, lekker te wandelen en natuurlijk ook gewoon gezellig samen te zijn.

Dierenvilla op de Herengracht 🐾

Vanaf jongs af aan altijd al in vriendenboekjes geschreven dat ik ‘iets met dieren’ wilde doen later. Ook elke verjaardag en Sinterklaas gesmeekt om een hond. Nu al 14 jaar een hond en sinds 7 jaar een tweede, beide bij mijn ouders. Ik mis ze wel als ik in mijn studentenstad ben en daarom bij PetBnB gekomen! Iris looked after our two dogs, Maggie and Britian, while we were away on holiday, and she was absolutely wonderful. One of our dogs is unwell and required special care and close, watchful attention, and Iris handled this with incredible care, calmness, and responsibility. Both dogs clearly adored her — they were happy, relaxed, and very well cared for when we returned. She walked them twice a day, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was incredibly reassuring to see how attentive and thoughtful she was throughout our time away. Shelter Dogs | Animal Behaviour Student

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. Doordat we al jaren samen zijn, hebben we ook veel voor elkaars huisdieren gezorgd. Daarnaast hebben we regelmatig opgepast op de huisdieren van familie en collega's. Dat beviel ons zo goed dat we besloten hebben om ons ook via Petbnb aan te melden. Bij ons kun je terecht voor zowel dagopvang als meerdaagse opvang. Of je nu een dag weg bent of meerdere nachten of weken op vakantie gaat, jouw huisdier is van harte welkom om bij ons te komen logeren. We begrijpen dat ieder dier een eigen karakter, routine en behoeften heeft. Daarom leren we jouw huisdier graag eerst kennen en volgen we de verzorging zoals jouw dier die gewend is. Ook het toedienen van medicatie is voor ons geen probleem. Met honden maken we altijd wandelingen van minimaal 30 minuten, waarbij we rekening houden met de leeftijd en energie van jouw hond. Sinds januari 2026 wonen we samen in een licht hoekappartement van ongeveer 65 m². We beschikken over een overdekt balkon dat we veilig kunnen afsluiten, zodat jouw huisdier hier, indien gewenst, ook rustig kan genieten van de buitenlucht. Kirsten werkt in een ziekenhuis vlak bij huis en is na haar dienst snel weer thuis. Bram werkt meestal vier dagen per week vanuit huis en is op de andere dagen vaak al vroeg in de middag thuis. Hierdoor is er veel gezelschap en hoeft jouw huisdier zelden lang alleen te zijn. Wij behandelen ieder huisdier alsof het ons eigen dier is. Tijdens het verblijf sturen we graag foto's en updates, zodat je met een gerust hart kunt genieten van je tijd weg. We kijken ernaar uit om jou en je huisdier te ontmoeten!

Alleen maar lovende woorden voor Kirsten en Bram. Mijn vriend en ik gingen 10 dagen op vakantie en wij hebben Mochi met een goed gevoel achtergelaten. Ze komen professioneel over en ik merkte dat ze allebei ervaring en verstand hebben van dieren. Ik heb dagelijks updates gekregen over hoe het met hem ging. Het contact verliep soepel. Ik zou hen voor 100% aanraden als je een goed (logeer)adresje zoekt voor je hond of kat!

The Biggest Animal Lover You’ll Ever Meet

I grew up with all types of animals back in North Carolina, from dogs to lizards, you name it. I learned how to care for creatures, big to small, whether they were my own pets or not. While living in Amsterdam for 9 years I have taken on a few opportunities to pet sit and loved it. Now that I have two cats (one even had kittens last summer!) at home, I sadly can’t do boarding like I used to, but I’m happy to get outside for some fresh air with a walk or two, and pop by a home to check on the fur babies. I have plenty of experience (especially lately) staying overnight to care for pets and have references!
