DUTCH: Ik ben zeer verantwoordelijk, ben dol op honden, het uitlaten, spelen en met ze knuffelen. Ik pas mij gemakkelijk aan de regels waar je huisdier al aan gewend is. Ik pas het liefst op honden die max. een half uur per x uit moeten (al ben ik dol op af en toe een lange wandeling te maken). Het enige waar ik mee heb, is 'valse' honden, ofwel honden die agressief zijn aangelegd waar je erg streng tegen moet zijn. Ik laat zeker zien wie 'de leider' is, maar vind het fijn om onbezorgd de hond uit te kunnen laten. Ik ben in het algemeen een dierenliefhebber, dus voor katten of andere dieren mag je me ook zeker benaderen! Ik heb de meeste ervaring met honden, katten, konijnen en vogels. Locaties: Amsterdam west (hoge voorkeur), Amsterdam centrum & zuid, Amstelveen. Locaties inc. gebruik mogelijk van een auto: Haarlem, Overveen, Amsterdam noord, Amsterdam oost en zuidoost. Talen: Ik spreek Engels, Spaans en Nederlands vloeiend. Reviews: Ik heb nog niet eerder via petbnb aan housesitting gedaan maar kan je voorzien van meerdere positieve reviews die ik via andere wijze heb gevonden! --- ENGLISH: I am very responsible, love dogs, walking them, playing and cuddling them. I easily adapt to the rules that your pet is already used to. I prefer to take care of dogs that need to be out for a maximum of half an hour each time (although I love to take a long walk every now and then). The only thing I have a problem with is 'cheat' dogs, or dogs that are aggressive and you have to be very strict with them. I certainly show who 'the leader' is, but I like being able to walk the dog without any worries. I am an animal lover in general, so you can definitely contact me for cats or other animals! I have the most experience with dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. Locations: Amsterdam west (high preference), Amsterdam center & south, Amstelveen. Extra gezelligheid in huis gewenst!

Het leukste aan honden vind ik de blijheid als je thuiskomt! Lekker even knuffelen en daarna wandelen in de buitenlucht. Mijn hond weet altijd meteen waar hij naartoe wil lopen en gaat overal enthousiast snuffelend heen, maar ook rustigere honden die even moeten wennen vind ik lieverds. Ik weet hoe fijn het is als je weet dat je hond niet al te lang alleen thuis is. Ik kijk het liefst samen met de hond (of door naar de hond te kijken) wat het leukste is voor ons om te doen. Hi everyone! This is Richard and Amanda, we are a couple (27 & 25 y/o) of young professionals, living in The Hague in and often working hybrid – from home. We are both extroverted, like to spend a lot of time outside – going to the beach, parks, exploring cities. We also have a car, which we are more than happy to use for taking a little furry friend with us when going on a walk outside the Hague, like Delftse Hout for example. easy going dog sitting in Amsterdam west

My boyfriend Tim and I love dogs. I grew up in a vet family with loads of pets and all sorts of dogs around. Since our Cypriot dog passed away last year we have been dog sitting various neighborhood furry friends. We work from home most of the time, which gives us flexibility to do frequent walks and little adventures. We live right next to Erasmus and Rembrandt park. If time permits and if your dog is up for it, we love going to the forest or the beach. The appartment isn’t huge but well catered for a dog, and we love playing and training with dogs as well. The house is only accessible by stairs.

Tesse and Tim alternated the walks with - and care for - Felan. He loved them equally. On the pictures sent by Tesse an Tim is clearly visible that Felan had a great time when they sat him. Communication went smoothly, all in all I can only hope that we can prolongue this petsitting arrangement in the future.

Actieve liefdevolle opvang

Ik heb veel huisdieren gehad. Van goudvis tot hond. Door mijn werk was ik veel in het buitenland konden de huisdieren niet altijd mee. Nu ben ik alweer jaren honkvast in Zaandam. Mijn man, dochter en ik hebben al vaak op honden van buren gepast, hebben al veel logeerhondjes van vrienden thuis gehad en hebben een eigen hondje. We hebben een fijn huis met een aardige tuin. Op het nabijgelegen hondenuitlaat veldje is er altijd een speelkameraadje te vinden en voor langere wandelingen gaan we naar het strand, bos of een grote ronde door het Jagersveld, een recreatiegebied waaraan wij wonen. Het liefst passen wij op honden die gewend zijn aan een gezinssituatie. Er is altijd een volwassene bij als de hond uitgelaten wordt. Ik werk zelf aan huis, dus er is bijna altijd iemand thuis, behalve als ik eventjes boodschappen doe. Onze dochter van 13 is in de middag thuis en zij is stapelgek op hondjes. Ze is ermee opgegroeid dus is er goed aan gewend. We wandelen vaak in de ochtend een grote ronde, dan tussen de middag een rondje van ongeveer een half uurtje (of zoveel korter als de hondjes aankunnen natuurlijk). Dan einde middag nog lekker een rondje met de bal, even spelen en uitrennen aan het strandje hier op 5 minuten loopafstand. In de avond lopen we ook altijd nog een half uurtje en vlak voor het slapen gaan nog even een snelle plas, dus er is veel ruimte voor beweging. Maar alles wordt natuurlijk aangepast aan de wensen van het hondje. Onze Bobba is een allemansvriend, die heeft nog nooit gegromd naar een andere hond als er geen aanleiding toe was. Hij is een kruising tussen een Jack Russell en een Corgi, waardoor hij thuis de rust zelve is, maar buiten is hij een echte jager, maar wel een vriendelijke. Hij is heel lief met andere honden, alleen poesjes moet zich uit de voeten maken voor hem, want daar heeft hij niets mee. Heb je nog vragen? Stuur gerust een berichtje. Lief, zorgzaam en dol op honden!

Mijn eerste woorden als kind waren: “Mag ik alsjeblieft een hond?” Sindsdien is mijn liefde voor honden eigenlijk nooit meer weggegaan. Ze maken me ontzettend blij! Helaas is het als student in Amsterdam niet zo makkelijk om zelf een hond te hebben. Daarom vind ik het juist ontzettend leuk om op die van anderen te passen.
