Een enorme dierenvriend met een aanpassingskracht

Hi! Ik ben Vicky, 30 jaar, en ben sinds klein al een enorme dierenvriend geweest. Ik heb 8 jaar in Japan gewoond en werkte daar ook op een boerderij! Hier kwam ik vooral in aanraking met wolfs honden en inheemse Japanse rassen. Ik pas mij volledig aan, aan het karakter van het beestje! Of het nou een lange actieve dag is in het bos, of lekker kroelen op de bank, wil ik vooral dat mijn vierpotige vriend zich op zijn gemak voelt :) Zelf heb ik altijd Shiba Inu’s gehad in het verleden, een soort “kat-hond”, dus voel me comfortabel met katten en honden! Mijn Shiba is 17 jaar geworden, maar sinds zijn vertrek, snak ik naar het gezelschap van een beestje 🫶🏼 Stuur mij aub een berichtje als je meer wil weten!

A life-long dog lover and knower

Hello, I am a dog lover just out of university and living in Rotterdam now for four years. Growing up in Colorado, my family always had dogs including: Australian Shepherd mix, Jack Russel Terrier mix, Lab mixes, Greyhound mix, and a Chihuahua mix. These among other animals. My mother used to be a vet technician and my sister has worked in many animal related professions and is now getting a masters in animal husbandry to work as a zookeeper. With such an animal loving family, I have learned a lot about how to read and take care of our lovely furry friends. I am on other pet sitting groups in Rotterdam, and have helped my sister when she ran a pet sitting business, but have no formal training myself. With that being said, I work as a circus performer, which is a very on and off job, meaning that in between I have a lot of time to devote to the animals I care for. I am open to listen to your advice about how to care for your lovely fur-baby and am willing to continue any training and/or treatments they may have depending on which ones and how used to it they are.

Hi its Ege. We live in Rotterdam with our dog Lulu. Most of the time of my live I took care of dogs and cats as members of our family. I do not work currently so I have time time to take care of your pets at our place or yours. My dog Lulu is a very scared dog so I really know how can boarding out a pet be challenging. During your pets visit to our place, I can walk him/her 3-4 times a day with a half hour walkings at least. We have a green area that is permitted for dogs to be unleashed. So, upon your preference your dog can freely walk leashed or unleashed. Since I am not actively working, I can visit your place to spend some time, pet and feed your dogs and cats. I used to have two cats in my home county so I know how to approach to cats and let them to approach me!

Je hond een oppas en ik een 'collega'= goede deal

Al mijn leven lang gek op honden, dus ik pas met alle liefde op die van jou! Op het moment werk ik regelmatig vanuit huis en zou het heel gezellig vinden om tussendoor met een hond te kunnen spelen/wandelen/knuffelen. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met honden en hier heb ik altijd heel erg van genoten. Ik vind het ook leuk de karakters te leren kennen en hier op in te spelen zodat de hond niets te kort komt. *dutch below* For the last 1,5 year I've been fostering dogs with my girlfriend. The last dog got adopted a month ago and we decided to take a break from fostering. It was my first time leaving my Luchenko with a dogsitter, and also his first sleepover away from home. I’m so glad I found Joaquin! I loved receiving pictures of my happy boy enjoying his stay, and it was great to know he also had other dogs around to socialize and play with.
