We are dog lovers and our dog wants to play!

Hello, We are Fang and Nathan, a dog loving couple, living in a large apartment (105sqm) in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, with a nice park 1 minute walk away from our front door. We have our own very friendly 10 month old dog and he is excited to make friends with your dog. He has never so much as growled at another dog so you do not need to worry about any aggression coming from him. We will take good care of your dog, giving them plenty of strokes and love. They will also have plenty to keep them occupied with our own dog here. We walk our dog roughly every 4 or 5 hours. If your dog has other needs then we should be able to accommodate that. We will take care of any breed of dog as long as they are friendly or at least not aggressive towards other dogs and people. If you are unsure, we can always have the dogs meet and see how they react to each other first. We are quite flexible so just let us know what you need and we will do our best to help!

Aan welk hondje mag ik mijn liefde geven?

Lieve baasjes, Ik weet hoe lastig het soms kan zijn om een oppas te vinden. Daarom bied ik mijn hulp aan! Zelf heb ik een toy poedel van 5 jaar dus ik ben zeer ervaren. Jouw hondje is bij mij in goede handen. Ik ben betrouwbaar, loyaal en lief voor je hondje. Mijn hondje Olly is een reutje en vindt het gezellig om een klein speelvriendje of vriendinnetje te hebben. Ik werk regelmatig thuis en op die dagen ben ik beschikbaar. Ik woon in de Rivierenbuurt, op de 1e etage met een ruim balkon. Vlakbij de Amstel en diverse parken, heerlijk om daar te wandelen. Isle was such a great dog sitter!!! We were lucky that she was excited to take care of our 3.5 months old puppy, Arya. As you know, puppies need to be walked frequently as they can't hold their bladder as well. She was super loving and caring to Arya, and we just knew Arya was in excellent hands. She visited Arya first at our place, and we knew it was a match. She gives us updates everyday on how Arya is doing, and is very responsive! She also lets us know when she thinks Arya had some fleas on her (which is not easy to detect since she's a black dog), and we were glad we could get rid of the fleas in time! Very nice and gentle soul, and we would highly recommend Isle! Arya was so in love with Isle that I think she didn't want to come home with us ;). Thank you so much for taking such great care of Arya! She had an excellent time with you Isle!

Een warme thuis voor jouw hond of kat 💕

Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf geen dier adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders zijn hond of kat te passen. Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler, een Maltezer en meerdere katten. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor diertjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden en katten lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je dier, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je huisdier in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Voor de rest woon ik op 40m² met een tuin, dus voor hele grote honden is mijn woning waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾

Shamira took really good care of Henri. He had plenty of exercise, was very well looked after, and came back home happy and relaxed. She also sent us daily updates with pictures and videos, which was really nice and reassuring. We would definitely recommend her!

Hondenoppas langs de Amstel

Lieve honden en katten eigenaren! Mijn naam is Suus en ik woon in Amsterdam. Ik ben altijd omringd door dieren en heb er al op veel mogen passen. Hello from a local dog lover and enthusiast! I have loved dogs for all of my life, and had my own (Captain, a rescued mutt) since I was 12 years old. Although I've only sporadically had a dog in my own vicinity since then, I spent a few months dog-sitting a doberman during a workaway two years ago, and spent this summer on a husky kennel in Tana, Norway caring for and doing the daily routines of 47 huskies (including 4 puppies and 11 yearlings). My experience with dogs I would consider wide-ranging, and I am so happy to hang out with dogs as it really brings me the greatest joy. I have a cosy and relatively large flat which I share with my roommate who is a horseback-rider and fellow animal lover and enthusiast. This means that your pooch will get a 2-for-1 deal and friend in us both (although the dog would be my responsibility and remain in my space mostly). However, as there are two of us, and I live in a building with many friends nearby, the dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. I am a student with a schedule that is heavy on Mondays and Thursdays, with the other days all 'off' (and a 3 hour course on Wednesdays), meaning I have plenty of free time to watch after and hang out with a canine companion. Additionally, there is always someone nearby should there be an emergency that needs tending to, and my uni is a 6 minute walk from the flat, for extra insurance.

I go on walks everyday and would love a companion

The dopamine I get from seeing a dog in his happy element brings me immense joy. Taking them on long walks while playing games with them makes the happy moments in our days. Having a companion to talk to, play with is something that only a dog can provide and it is something precious to cherish those moments. Betrouwbaar, ervaren en liefdevol! Ik zorg graag!

Ik bied flexibele oppasservices aan, incl. weekendopvang. Ik ben half Frans en heb langere tijd op een boerderij met héel veel dieren in Frankrijk gewoond.
