My parents have always loved & cared for foster dogs. They were with us when I came into the world and when I left for college. In any memory from my childhood or teenage years I could exactly tell you which dog was part of our family at that very moment. Being around dogs throughout my upbringing has very much shaped my respect & admiration for animals, and in particular dogs and I consider myself privileged that in most cases I have been able to easily connect & form a bond with the dogs I encounter or engage with. I am convinced that dogs have a sense for a person's energy, intention and sentiment. Due to our current living situation in the city of Amsterdam we unfortunately cannot have dogs ourselves. So for the time being I am excited to meet & support other dog owners in taking care for their furry family members.
