(English below) Katten- of hondenmens? Ik ben het allebei! Hoi! Ik ben Sterre, ik ben 33 jaar oud. Ik ben op zoek naar een viervoetermaatje. Of dat nu in de vorm van een kat of een hond is, maakt mij niet veel uit. Ik vind beide dieren leuk! In mijn ouderlijk huis ben ik opgegroeid in een gezellige beestenbende. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Honden en katten maken mij blij en ik merk de connectie met ze. Zij voelen dat bij mij aan, vaak lopen honden uit zichzelf vrolijk op mij af om hallo te zeggen en te snuffelen. Ik kan het dan natuurlijk niet weerstaan om even een aai over zijn/haar bol te geven. Met katten weet ik heel goed te herkennen wanneer zij aandacht willen en wanneer zij hun eigen ding willen doen. Ik woon dichtbij het Haagse Bos en vind het heerlijk om met een hond door het bos te wandelen. Doordeweeks werk ik, maar ik mag van mijn werkgever veel thuiswerken. Mijn werk kan ik overal waar WiFi is uitvoeren, dus ook bij jouw huisdier. Tussendoor en tegelijk met mijn werkzaamheden kan ik je hond uitlaten, met je hond/kat spelen en aandacht geven. Mijn kantoorrooster is zodanig flexibel dat ik bijvoorbeeld elke maandag voor je geliefde huisdier kan zorgen. We kunnen hier uiteraard goed contact over hebben wat jouw wensen zijn! Ik kan jou helpen door je hond met een middag- en/of avondrondje uit te laten, of ik kan bij jou thuis voor een aantal uur op je hond passen. Oppas voor je kat nodig? Ik ben opgegroeid met verschillende grote honden rassen; herders, deense dog, labradors en heb het altijd geweldig gevonden om lekker met hen het bos in te gaan, grote wandelingen te maken en zo nu en dan eens lekker een potje stoeien. Sinds een paar jaar woon ik op mijzelf, in een klein studiootje in het centrum van Barneveld, helaas is het niet toegestaan om huisdieren te houden. Apart from feeding the cats, I also clean the litter boxes, change fresh water, groom the cats, play with them, etc. I make sure they are emotionally happy and well, which is more important than feeling full in the belly. I will keep you updated with photos and videos during each visit. I have experiences with old cats and cats having IBD, so I can monitor their health conditions for you. In the cases of vomiting, no appetite, or cat not performing in the normal way, I contact you immediately and help with transporting to hospital if necessary. Dogs, rabbits, or other pets are all welcome. Either I come to you or they are brought to my place, I do my best to make sure they are well taken care of. They are not only babies in your eyes, but also in mine ! Fijne oppas voor mijn twee Maine Coon katers. De communicatie verliep heel goed en Meggie gaf ons foto's met updates. Zo konden wij onbezorgd vakantie vieren. Dank! :)

Ik voel katten goed aan en kan daar op inspelen

Ik heb bijna mijn hele leven voor katten gezorgd, met korte periodes zonder kat tussendoor. Helaas is mijn eigen kat een paar weken geleden overleden waardoor ik nu weer even kat loos ben. Aangezien ik nu even niet in staat ben om weer een eigen kat te nemen zou ik graag op andere katten willen passen om zo de leegte toch wat op te kunnen vullen. Ik heb ook ervaring met het oppassen op andere katten. In vakanties paste ik wel eens op de katten van buren. Ik kan katten goed aanvoelen en heb een hoop geduld. Ik vind het leuk om de kat wat aandacht te geven en eventueel te spelen of knuffelen met de kat als hij/zij dat ook leuk vindt.

Wij zijn heel blij met Annelies. Ze is lief, zorgzaam en heel prettig in de omgang. We kregen regelmatig een update en foto. Onze Monty voelde zich duidelijk op zijn gemak bij haar. We gaan haar zeker weer vragen voor onze volgende vakantie!
