Ik ben Sjoerd, hondenliefhebber uit Apeldoorn. Elf jaar lang was mijn golden retriever het middelpunt van mijn huis. Vier maanden geleden heb ik helaas afscheid van haar moeten nemen, en ik merk hoeveel liefde en aandacht ik nog te geven heb. Ik weet als geen ander hoe belangrijk het is dat een hond zich meteen thuis voelt. Rust, een vast ritme en veel aandacht staan bij mij voorop. Er is altijd iemand thuis, dus jouw hond is nooit alleen en krijgt alle liefde, knuffels en aandacht die hij of zij verdient. Bij mij logeert je hond in een rustig huishouden zonder kleine kinderen. Ik ga graag meerdere keren per dag naar buiten en pas het tempo aan op wat jouw hond aankan, van lange wandelingen tot rustig rondom het huis. Ook aan oudere honden is gedacht. Twee jaar geleden heb ik een speciaal vloerzeil over de houten vloer gelegd, zodat mijn eigen seniorenhond met artrose overal extra grip had. Ideaal dus voor honden die wat stijver zijn of moeite hebben met gladde vloeren. Van mijn eigen hond heb ik nog alles in huis: riemen, knuffels, snoepjes, ballen, kussens en handdoeken. Alles is uiteraard gewassen en helemaal schoon, en ik vind het juist heel fijn om dit met jouw hond te mogen delen. Zo voelt het meteen als logeren bij familie. Heeft je hond extra aandacht nodig? Graag zelfs. Is je hond juist wat meer op zichzelf? Ook geen enkel probleem, die is net zo welkom. En een hond met veel energie neem ik graag mee naar buiten voor een flinke wandeling, een stuk rennen of gewoon lekker snuffelen. Ik houd je graag op de hoogte met foto's en een kort berichtje, zodat je met een gerust hart weg kunt. Overleg over voeding, medicatie of vaste gewoontes is altijd mogelijk.

I am a zoologist specialising in animal communication. I own a chronically anxious rescued dog, Gizmo, whom I train using only positive reinforcement (he knows about 40 commands by now; I am so proud of my boy). I have lived with cats most of my life and also cared for wild animals in nature reserves and rehabilitation facilities (cranes in Oka State Nature Reserve in Russia and seals in Sealcenter Pieterburen). As a hobby, I befriend local crows. All in all, I treat animals with respect and take my time to listen to them and understand their personality and needs. Similarly, I'll listen to you and faithfully follow your wishes and routines. I speak English and Russian, and I am learning Dutch. Since I have my own dog, my non-negotiables are vaccinations and anti-parasite control from your side. Daytime cat visits last up to 1.5 h and include quality time with the cat(s) (if they want it), feeding, changing water, and a quick litter box clean-up. If care requires administering medications (oral or subdermal), we can do so. Dog walks include up to a 1-hour walk on leash (depending on the weather) and can take place from 11:00 to 20:00. If you would like that, the walks may include positive reinforcement training (recall, walking on leash without pulling, attention and impulse control, some basic tricks, etc.). Overnight pet sitting includes me spending time at your place for up to 24 hours, feeding, changing water, walking, and light cleaning of the litterbox/cage (major cleaning is negotiable). For an extra charge, I can also clean your place if you provide the supplies. For exotic animals: I am not fully comfortable with feeding reptiles with live food; the rest is negotiable. Also, I am allergic to mice, so before agreeing to take care of your rodents, I will have to check whether I have a severe reaction to your particular pet.

Hi, my name is Danna & together with my partner, Riwan, we’ve been pet sitting for a while now in our apartment in Utrecht. Oppas bij u thuis, zorg voor uw huis(en)dier!

Mijn partner Jan- Willem en ik (Anja) houden van allerlei hondenpersoonlijkheden; we zijn al jarenlang actief als hondenoppas. Eerst in onze eigen woning in Brabant en later in ons oppashuis in Drenthe. (Referentie voor huisoppas en huisdieroppas is aanwezig). We hebben zelf ook altijd honden gehad. Vanaf 1 april 2021 zijn wij op pad met onze buscamper in binnen- en buitenland. Dat betekent dat we ook beschikbaar zijn voor vakantie-oppas bij u thuis (in Nederland en buitenland), waarbij uw huisdieren in hun vertrouwde omgeving kunnen blijven en door ons verzorgd en uitgelaten worden. Daarnaast was ik tot 2019 mede-eigenaar van Coachen met Honden en ben ik medeschrijfster van het boek 'Wijze lessen van je hond'. Interessant hoe honden ons spiegelen, wat we van hen kunnen leren en waarom nou net díe hond met díe persoonlijkheid in jouw leven is. Wij zien honden als 'furry friends', en vinden het mooi om door ons oppaswerk allerlei hondenwezens te leren kennen. Mila heeft minstens zo een leuke vakantie gehad als wij😉:feet::feet:! Lekker door de bossen gewandeld, mee naar vrienden geweest en veel liefdevolle aandacht gehad. Mila is ook weer zo goed verzorgd. De eerste dagen was ze niet helemaal fit en Anja wist precies wat te doen en hield ons dagelijks op de hoogte. We zijn enorm blij en dankbaar🙏:smiling_face_with_3_hearts:.

And even if they was described as non-playful, we found a way to become friends and eventually even the owner was surprised to see their instinct waking up and result in a little chase. Besides of dog-walks cats drop-in visits are my favorite part of the day. :) I take care of indoor cats only. About LOGEREN/BOARDING: *we don't take new dogs at the moment* About DAGOPVANG/DAYCARE There are two options - at my place and at yours. 1. Daycare at my place - exceptional for Puppies or individual cases, not possible long-term. 2. Instead of a daycare you need to pick drop-in visit multiply by 2 or 3 Taking daytime care at the place where the dog (or other animal) lives. If your furry companion has separation anxiety (which is mostly a reason), then by my visits, we can reduce stress little by little by caring about a healthy mental state and extending 'alone time' slowly, not increasing it by switching places twice a day. Also, we can create a plan to work with his/her fears little by little in a safe environment. As a behavioral consultant, I have experience and knowledge to arrange a good therapy plan (full consultation includes additional cost, but solving a problem is worth it, right? ;) ) About ME ;) As a proffesional petsitter and a dog behavior specialist, I guarantee you quality time with your dog/cat/rabbit/budgie. My training skills comes from studies, courses and workshops conducted by force free dog training experts. Meimei vinden wij uitstekend voor onze hond Dora! Dora is ook gek op Meimei en dat is voor ons ook heel fijn dat we Dora met een gerust hart kunnen achterlaten bij haar. Meimei houdt ons goed op de hoogte door als we op vakantie gaan af en toe een bericht en foto’s te sturen hoe het met Dora gaat . Wij hebben ook een goed contact met Meimei. Ze is heel lief en begrijpt Dora heel goed. Ze zorgt goed voor haar en signaleert en geeft door als er haar iets opvalt. We bevelen haar zeker aan!!

Bent u op zoek naar een oppas die bij u thuis logeert? Dan zal mijn eigen hond niet mee komen, tenzij ze leuk klikken en het voor uw hond gezellig is! Ik ben beschikbaar in de zomerperiode om op uw hond(en) en uw huis te passen! Samen met mijn trouwe viervoeter Pim woon ik in het buitengebied van Voorthuizen, naast het bos met losloop gebied. In de tuin is er volop ren-en speelruimte. Mijn hond Pim is een labradoodle van 3 jaar oud, gecastreerd en dol op spelen. Hij kan met alle honden. Het is belangrijk dat het tussen de honden klikt en een vrij blijvende kennismaking is dan ook altijd in te plannen. Ik ben alle dagen thuis en maak graag lange wandelingen met de honden in het bos. In overleg kan ik uw hond ook ophalen en thuisbrengen. Ik ben verder flexibel wat betreft dagen, breng&haal tijden en mogelijkheid tot logeren. Vragen? Stel ze gerust!
