Life is much better when you have a fluffy friend who is always there for you!

I'm a lucky girl who grew up with two adorable cats, Dusy and Yashi. My mum found them on the street when they were so little, so we had to take a good care of them. I have been growing up together with them and they were my best friends until it was time for them to go. They were in our life for almost 20 years but they will forever stay in my heart.

I happen to be lucky with dog experience as well! I used to live in Belgium as an Au Pair for 1,5 years, and besides taking care of children, I had to take some care of the dog, Nala, who was living with the family. She is a beautiful German Shepherd who was always exited to meet new friends although she could get in trouble sometimes...
Nala had a lot of energy and a natural safeguarding instinct so she would bark really loud and sometimes get aggressive to people who would passing by the house.
As I am not a dog trainer I wasn't able to teach her commands, but I was there to make her calm down. I would also go with her outside to play so she could use her energy for walks and runs. I would also prepare her food when I was staying alone with her. She is the sweetest dog I have ever meet, she was always friendly with me and especially to the little children including the baby, so Im so happy to have such a nice memory about Nala.

When I moved to The Netherlands as an Au Pair again, the family here occasionally (for a week every month) would have a little Scottish Terrier, Lara, over and my responsibilities were to go with her for a walk morning/evening and to prepare food for her.

I don't find it difficult to take care of a pet, rather, I find it fulfilling and enjoyable when being in the company of a pet.

The main reason why I have decided to try pet sitting is because I've realised how much I miss having that shared company. I used to be around pets for all these years and unfortunately I'm not able to have my own pet at the moment.

For now, this is a perfect way to get at least some part of fur-friendship until I meet my new friend when I go back home in December (my mum saved another pure soul from cold and hunger last year).
But until then and after I come back I would be happy to meet your little fluffys :)
