Hi! I'm Rachel, a 27-year-old opera singer from Montreal, Canada! I moved to Amsterdam three years ago to pursue my master's degree in music and stayed here since! :) Since the start of my studies, my part-time job was being a dog sitter and walker, as well as a waitress. I absolutely love taking care of dogs and making sure they spend a nice day, and all of this in my favorite city, Amsterdam!

I have always been a huge animal-lover, and dogs are my specialty. I have always had pets at home, including dogs, hamsters, cats... I'm the kind of person who pays special attention to the needs and habits of the animal I am caring for, and I am all about hugs and kisses and I treat them like my babies, as if they are part of my family! I always told myself, ''If I don't become a singer, I will work with animals''. :)

I have two dogs in my hometown Montreal, in Canada, one small maltipoo and big aussiedoodle, and have had dogs all my life before them, so I have a lot of experience with dogs, big and small! I am more at ease in taking care of smaller to medium size dogs, but am still comfortable with big dogs. Important to mention that I have experience with dogs who are dependant or have anxiety as both my dogs have anxiety and are always looking for a cuddle or support. I know what makes them happy, as well as what is too much for them. I adapt very easily to each dog, depending on their needs and qualities.

As a free-lancer/self-employed artist, my schedule is very flexible and varies a lot depending on the job contracts, offers, auditions I get. This is a good thing; it means I am free quite often, but it also means that my availability can change from time to time, randomly, as I am not always aware of when I will get an offer! If this is okay with you, then let's go for it! :)

I am a punctual, reliable and caring person on who you can definitely count on, to keep your dog happy and safe! :) I also am fluent in English and French, and have ease in Spanish and German!
