Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son, who both love animals just as much as I do and have been incredibly supportive of me taking this step. We also share our home with Bully, an American bully size pocket, a very special member of our family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: we have a dog living in our home. For this reason, every dog staying with us will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog We have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. My garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! Above all, I value the safety of every dog in my care. Our garden has been prepared with this in mind, so dogs can enjoy their time outside in a safe environment. My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me a lot about routines, wellbeing and the importance of noticing even the smallest changes. I also have practical experience with dogs with allergies and sensitive skin, including skin-care routines and ongoing maintenance. Any specific care is always provided according to the owner's instructions and, where necessary, veterinary guidance. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because we have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. That's why I like to get to know every pet before caring for them. I want to understand their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and individual needs. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, respected and happy while you're away and to give you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for with genuine attention and affection. My dog ​​Joe stayed with Carla and her family for a week and had a FANTASTIC TIME. Carla is sweet, caring, patient, and she truly connects with the animals under her care. She has a very sweet, cheerful dog of her own with an incredibly sociable character. Our dogs got along excellently. She lives on the edge of the woods, which is wonderful for the dogs. Additionally, she has a large garden where the dogs can play to their heart's content. Carla is very communicative and shares many cheerful updates and photos of the situation. Veel buiten, overal naar toe en lekker spelen!!

Mijn naam is Matthijs, woon in Rotterdam en ben 56 jaar. Ik heb HBO Bedrijfskunde gestudeerd en mijn hobby’s zijn fitness, fietsen, zeilen en wandelen. Ik ben alleenstaand en heb geen kinderen en huisdieren. Wij hebben altijd honden gehad in de familie. Van één zelfs een nestje. Na de middelbare school vlogen wij uit om elders te wonen/te studeren. Mijn ouders hadden toen besloten geen honden meer te nemen. Dat vond Ik jammer en mis het nog altijd. Verder wil ik graag mensen helpen die voor de hond tijdelijk onderdak zoeken. Ik kan met veel honden omgaan. Vind het leuk om met ze te spelen, wandelen en ondernemen. Ik heb ervaring met oppassen. Ik heb dan ook altijd tevreden baasjes *****. Mijn referenties zijn altijd op te vragen. Ik laat voor twee mensen 2-3x per week de honden uit en dat doe ik met veel plezier. Ik heb een 3 kamer appartement in Rotterdam Noord in de wijk het Oude Noorden op de 4de verdieping. Er is geen lift aanwezig. Het Ouden Noorden is een rustige wijk waar weinig gebeurt met winkels vlakbij. De wijk heeft een mix van koopwoningen en sociale woningbouw. Dat is beleid vanuit de Gemeente geweest om de wijk leefbaarder en aantrekkelijker te maken om in te wonen. De wijk is redelijk goed te bereiken. Het ligt aan de Rijksweg (A20). Voor noodgevallen zijn er vier dierenklinieken in de buurt . In het algemeen wordt de hond niet langer dan 2 uur alleen gelaten en minimaal 3x uitgelaten. Aan het begin van de avond wil ik ook nog wel eens een wandeling maken. De hond komt zeker aan voldoende beweging. Voor de hond is er in Rotterdam wel wat te doen. Ervaring op doen in de grote stad. Het Kralingse bos met kinderboerderij, hertenkamp en zwemgelegenheid. In en om Rotterdam zijn er losloopgebieden voor korte en lange wandelingen. . We kunnen ook nog naar het strand bij de Hoek van Holland, Monster, ’s Gravenzande of Den Haag Kijkduin. In aangegeven periode\gebieden mogen honden daar loslopen en lekker plonsen. Verder zijn nog veel meer leuke dingen te bedenken en gaat de hond dus overal mee naar toe, maar ook de nodige rust krijgt. Halen en/of brengen behoort tot de mogelijkheid. Ik neem aan dat hij/zij wat speeltjes, riem/tuigje en mand mee krijgt. Een extra nachtje blijven is geen probleem (geen kosten aan verbonden). Graag wil ik nog weten of de hond allergie, speciaal voer heeft, goed in de auto is ,medicijnen gebruikt en trap mag lopen. Traplopen is overigens niet gevaarlijk voor de gezondheid van de hond. Bij een langer verblijf dan een week wordt geadviseerd de hond een keer 2 dagen op het logeeradres te brengen als hij/zij nog geen ervaring heeft. Hier zijn geen kosten aan verbonden. Een kennismakingsgesprek vind ik altijd wel prettig. Mocht u nog vragen hebben, dan kunt u mij altijd een berichtje sturen. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb mij altijd geïnteresseerd in honden en hun gedrag, hun doen en denken. Zelf heb ik een vrolijke actieve hond van momenteel 5 jaar oud. We zijn altijd samen op pad, maken lange wandelingen, we houden van spelen en mentale uitdagingen (parcours afleggen/agility). Eenmaal thuis kan hij goed zijn rust vinden en slaapt hij graag. Mij lijkt het ontzettend leuk om op hondjes te passen en samen met met mijn hond en jouw hond een leuke dag te beleven. Daarnaast is het voor mij een win-win, aangezien ik er zelf weer kan van leren op het gebied van honden psychologie :)! Met een rustige, en juiste introductie kan mijn hond in principe met alle honden. Mijn hond vindt grote honden erg spannend, vandaar dat ik heb aangegeven alleen op kleine tot middelgrote honden te willen oppassen.

Timmi heeft een geweldige tijd gehad! Sofie is heel begaan met haar geweest en heeft haar ook lekker gedrild en onder de duim gehouden. De match met haar hond was top, dikke maatjes waren ze. Tussendoor veel foto's en filmpjes gekregen en heel gerust m'n hondenkind achter kunnen laten bij Sofie.

Er loopt geen hond voorbij zonder mijn aandacht

Lieve Maja, Wat ben ik blij dat Bob bij jou terecht is gekomen! ❤️ Ontzettend bedankt voor alle liefde, aandacht en goede zorgen die je hem hebt gegeven. Het was de eerste keer dat Bob twee nachtjes uit logeren ging bij jou, en eerlijk gezegd vond ik dat best spannend. Maar vanaf het eerste moment voelde het goed bij jou. Toen ik Bob kwam brengen, hebben we eerst rustig kennisgemaakt. Bob heeft door zijn verleden in het dierenasiel wat last van verlatingsangst en is daardoor enorm gehecht aan mij als zijn baasje. Je voelde heel goed aan wat hij nodig had en wist hem meteen op zijn gemak te stellen. Hij bleef zelfs lekker bij jou liggen toen ik wegging. Dat zei voor mij eigenlijk alles! Het is zo fijn om te weten dat Bob niet alleen goed verzorgd wordt, maar ook echt liefde en aandacht krijgt. Ik kon hem met een gerust hart bij jou achterlaten en dat is voor mij ontzettend veel waard. Toen ik Bob weer kwam ophalen, was het ontzettend fijn om te zien hoe hij op zijn gemak was geweest bij jou. Je vertelde hoe het met hem was gegaan. Bob gaf jou ook nog de nodige lieve knuffels toen we weggingen. Nogmaals heel erg bedankt en voor de lieve zorgen, Maja! We komen heel graag nog eens bij je terug en woef van Bob.

My childhood companions were Jess, a loyal German Shepherd, and Ruby, a golden-hearted Golden Retriever, plus more cats than I could count. These days I'm completely obsessed with my mum's Bernese Mountain mix and my in-laws' gorgeous long-haired German Shepherd — honestly, they might be part of the reason I got into dog sitting! I have always loved dogs and have been a dog person since forever. I would love to help out others by taking care of their dog (as right now is not yet the right time for me to get my own dog). I get to walk with them, play with them, take care of them, and especially create that space for them that caters to their needs. My partner and I will take turns working from home to go for walks regularly during work hours. I work from home most days and have lots of flexibility in my work and that allows me to dogsit most days (even if calendar is blocked, ask me for availability 😉). In the evenings we can take the dog to any one of the parks nearby our apartment for a longer evening walk before bed. We will provide constant updates with pictures and quick replies! Een hele goedendag! Ik ben Sanne, 33 jaar. Ik woon alleen en dus ook zonder kinderen in een appartement in Rotterdam. Gezien mijn veelal wisselende diensten kan ik vooraf goed inschatten wanneer ik tijd heb . Regelmatig ben ik in de gelegenheid tijd te maken. Ik hou van buiten zijn en wandelen, maar zal de wandelingen uiteraard aanpassen aan de behoefte van de hond. Indien baasje en hond de voorkeur geven aan lange wandelingen denk ik daar graag in mee. Liever kleine rondjes in de buurt? Ook prima! Gezien ik op dit moment veel thuis ben maar dit in de toekomst kan gaan veranderen wil ik niet zelf een huisdier aanschaffen. Ik vind het belangrijk een huisdier de juiste zorg, aandacht en stabiliteit te kunnen bieden. Door middel van deze website help ik graag de baasjes die op zoek zijn naar een oppasadres en kan ik toch zorgen voor een huisdier. Ik kan niet wachten om de gezelligheid te ervaren van een huis met kat of hond. BELANGRIJK: Mijn appartement heeft 4 trappen en geen lift. Voor mij is het geen probleem de hond te tillen, maar natuurlijk wel met toestemming van zijn/haar baasje. Heeft u daar zelf ideeën over dan hoor ik dit graag.

Sanne heeft fantastisch goed voor onze beestjes gezorgd. Ze kwamen heerlijk relaxed thuis.

Daarnaast staan professionaliteit en veiligheid hoog in het vaandel.

Senna heeft ervaring en dat merk je ook. Het heeft me een prettig gevoel gegeven om Luna voor een eerste keer bij Senna achter te laten. Ze zijn heerlijk gaan wandelen en Senna heeft zelfs nog wat training met Luna gedaan. Erg prettig verblijf en we gaan zeker terugkomen bij Senna!

We enjoy regular walks by the lake and adapt activities to each dog's energy level. I follow feeding routines and any specific instructions carefully, and I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease while you're away. Please note that my apartment is on the second floor and is only accessible via a fairly steep staircase. To protect dogs' backs, I always carry them up and down the stairs. For this reason, I can comfortably host small dogs (up to around 10 kg), but unfortunately I'm not able to accommodate larger dogs.
