Voor t eerst Boef 2 nachten laten logeren. Het ging helemaal prima en Boef wilde eigenlijk niet eens meer naar huis. Hij werd goed verzorgd door Shannon, veel aandacht en beweging gekregen. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Hi! I’m a dog lover with experience caring for dogs and would be very happy to look after your furry family member. 🐶 I have previously had a Maltese and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, so I’m very familiar with the joys and responsibilities of having a dog. Since moving to the Netherlands, I have also had the opportunity to take care of a Shiba Inu. I genuinely love spending time with dogs. Whether it’s going for a walk, giving them lots of cuddles and attention, talking to them, or simply keeping them company at home, I’m happiest when I’m around dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I will always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, which makes me flexible for longer walks, day care, or overnight stays. From Monday to Thursday, I’m also available for morning and evening walks and home visits. I would love to meet you and your dog and learn about their usual routine, preferences, and anything else that will help me take the best possible care of them. ❤️

I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing dogs live their best life. I now live looking over a huge park, watching the dogs run around makes me miss spending time with my pups. We left Luna for the first time and were very worried at first. But all our worries disappeared when we met Jadina and her partner! They are so kind and took amazing care of Luna. They kept sending us pictures every day, so we knew she was doing well. We were so happy that Luna was with them, and we’ll definitely leave her with them again next time we’re away :)
