I lived on a farm with over 10 dogs as a kid which began my love and passion for dogs. Throughout all my ups and downs, I could always lean back to the support of my dog. As I am studying here, I miss having a best friend. I can't promise that I am a professional dog trainer but I can promise that I would take great care of your dogs and show them the love they deserve. I have always been good with dogs and at any social gathering, you would find me hanging out with the owners' dog as they are there for you no matter what, which is hard to say about many people. I am respectful of rules and am punctual, the expectations set by the owner are guaranteed to be met and I hope to be the reliable and caring dog sitter that you have been looking for.

Basel took care of our two dogs for 10 days while we were on vacation and he was phenomenal! Our dogs had tons of long fun walks, he sent photos, and they came home relaxed and well- behaved from there stay with Basel. I can tell he was patient, kind, and consistent with his care for our dogs. We will use him again!

I'm a 26-year-old student from Australia, studying a Master of Interior Architecture at the Willem de Kooning Academy (with a history of Fine Arts). I LOVE animals, and have experience dog-sitting back in Melbourne - long-term and frequently I looked after an Akita-Inu, and the other dogs were a chihuahua and a mixed-breed terrier. I adore dogs more than I can put into words - I grew up with dogs, and had up until this year my darling Toto living in Australia with my parents, who was 17 years old (!) and such a darling. Ik doe graag lange wandeling met mijn hond Yuka. Ze is van mij verplicht om dagelijks minstens 10km te lopen, niet alleen is het goed voor haar, maar het is ook goed voor mij. Aangezien ik graag van lopen houd, dacht ik, waarom niet met nog een hondje erbij. Als ik het hondje en haar of zijn eigenaar hiermee blij kan maken, waarom niet? Ik heb niet zoveel ervaring met honden, behalve met mijn eigen hond. Yuka is 4 jaar en is een Shiba inu. Ze is heel rustig en zeer lui, wat ik beetje jammer vind omdat ik graag met haar wil spelen. Ik ben heel erg spontaan en zeer lief en ik verwen alle hondjes die ik tegenkom. Onze vaste wandeltijd is tussen 11:30 en 13:00/ 14:00. De wandeling duurt minstens 2 uurtjes. Wij wandelen vaak in de omgeving van het Haagse bos, Malieveld, Hofvijver en centrum.

Altijd in om ergens een handje te helpen maar daarnaast ook vooral graag zelf op pad met een hond! *dutch below* For the last 1,5 year I've been fostering dogs with my girlfriend. The last dog got adopted a month ago and we decided to take a break from fostering. I'm from Chile and in May I'll do my exam to get Dutch citizenship, until then I've loads of free time to walk with dogs. I'm a real dog lover and I love going for walks. Not only dogs, cats are my friend aswell. Rodents aren't my favourite, but to balance that my girlfriend has a lot of experience with them and aquariums. We are a animalhousehold so to say :) Besides my daily Dutch classes of an hour I've not much else to do in a day, I'd love to walk some doggies and take care of other animals now I've the time. I live close to Erasmuspark and Westerpark, when my girlfriend is free from work we go to the beach, forest or Twiske (in Zaandam) Let me know if you're interested! *nederlands hieronder* De afgelopen 1,5 jaar heb ik samen met mijn vriendin veel honden als pleeggezin gehad. De laatste hond is een maand geleden geadopteerd en we hebben besloten om een pauze te nemen van de pleegzorg. I loved receiving pictures of my happy boy enjoying his stay, and it was great to know he also had other dogs around to socialize and play with. Dogs, they come to this world with no words but they carry all the love for human. I personally have had 6dogs in my family. One passed away of dog shelter virus, one physically challenged poodle was lost when he is hunting for partner, at last we found him in dog shelter dying and adopted by a kind family, the third Samoy was too harmful to my grandpa and being sent to a friends house. Now we have three, they are a loving family. They are a tiny poodle and a white lady and a mixed poodle with chihuahua. I love them and they are clever, loving and healthy. I teach them to “talk” to humans, to cuddle, to care for kids and other dogs. I feed them healthy dog food with enough protein and vitamins and fish and all the ingredients that are good to their body. At night, we hugged and go to sleep, at morning, we go for a walk and smell the nature together. I wish your dogs are the happiest angels in the world. I hope to meet them one day!

een echte honden vriend

Ik ben heel erg geduldig met honden, mij zie je nooit gefrustreerd raken met honden. Ik bedenk ook. Altijd nieuwe leuke activiteiten om met het hondje te doen. Ik heb altijd al een hond gewild, ik heb er alleen nooit een gehad. Ik paste vroeg heel vaak op de hond van een vriend. Zijn hond heette inouk en het was een mix tussen een Border-collie en labrador. Ik ben een student aan de universiteit leiden en soms als het niet zo druk is, verveel ik me vaak. Daarom lijkt me op honden passen een geweldige tijdverdrijf en zo kan ik ook baasjes helpen met het verzorgen en bezighouden van hun hond.
