Isadora came to watch our cat, husky/shepherd mix, and border collie after our petsitter canceled last minute (3 days before our trip!). Even though it was all super last minute, Isadora did a great job keeping up with communication and scheduling. We sorted out the meet/greet for the very next day. All our pets have special needs that require a varying level of skill. The cat is easy as he just needs his special food. The husky/shepherd mix is sensitive and has wrist issues, but is also quite easy. Our border collie is a bit more difficult for most people, not only because of his breed, but also because he requires oral medications twice a day for seizures. So we feel like we got really lucky to find Isadora on such short notice! She was open about things that she had less experience in but was happy to learn anything that she needed to know (which in my opinion is the best attribute because you can't expect everyone to know everything). During the meet/greet, we were very thorough about discussing our boys' special needs, and Isadora even had some great questions on top of what we discussed. She was very engaged in making sure she had everything she needed to take the best possible care of our boys. The thing that impressed us the most was that she commented on some behavioral signalling that one of our dogs did to express nervousness. As a vet tech of 10 years and now a dog trainer for 1-2 years, it is very impressive to me when someone without formal training can pick up on subtle cues. While we were gone, we really didn't feel like we needed to worry about our boys. She sent updates periodically, and pictures. When we came home, everyone was really happy and there were no signs of the boys being stressed while we were gone. We were truly thrilled with Isadora as our petsitter! We really hope that she will continue to petsit for us in the future!

I'm a 28 year old international lawyer that loves animals. I live The Hague and Utrecht.
As a pet owner myself, I've been very appreciative of the people who've taken care of her when I've been away and I like to give back the same help and sense of tranquility that the pets are well taken care of to other pet parents.
I am a very responsible, respectful and organized person that loves pets. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats and hedgehogs. I also love birds, bunnies and hamsters! If you have any other type of animal that'd you'd like me to take care of, let's talk about it! I learn quickly :) I'd definitely take care of your pets as if they were my own!

Whether it's a very energetic dog with whom I'd go for walkies and play; a kitten that needs plenty of attention with whom I'd spend the day playing and making sure it won't break anything; a bird that likes to talk/sing or a hamster or bunny that only needs company and be fed.
