Hello, fellow dog owners!
I am Pedro de Freitas Barros Neto, 22, from Brazil, and have been around dogs for as long as I can remember. This is my third year living in the Netherlands, making me a long-distance dog owner for now :/. I miss interacting with dogs and I love making them happy.
I live in a 4-person house with a small backyard. All of my housemates also have some experience with pets and encourage me to bring them home as they also miss contact with animals!
I study Technology, Liberal Arts, and Sciences, an 'interdisciplinary engineering' type course. In my free time, I like to cook and watch movies with my housemates and friends. Additionally, I play soccer for a team at the University of Twente, which is another passion of mine. I also value talking with my family and friends back home which I miss dearly (including my dogs!!!).
I have had a pet in my home since I was born. My sister and I already had a parrot, a hamster, a Shih-Tzu, and we now live with the two troublemakers you see in my portfolio pictures. Before I left my home and whenever I visit, I am the one who looks after the dogs every day. I have experience with walking, feeding, bathing, calming the dog's anxiety (if there is any), and have faced many challenges with my dogs as well. I do have to admit that I have limited experience with cats as I have not lived with one, but I am passionate about learning and connecting more with them.
