Hi! It’s Clara, Italian living in Amsterdam :) My little Maya, a 12-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, taught me patience and unconditional love for animals. During these 12 years caring for her with my mom, I learned to understand her and all her needs with just one tail shake or gaze (even though she is learning to speak Italian :) ). Since I moved to the Netherlands for my studies in 2022, she now lives with my mom, but I facetime her everyday :). Ik ben helemaal gek op honden en vind het leuk om af en toe een mooie gezellige wandeling te maken! Ik woon aan de hei en het bos en vind het heerlijk om lekker lang te wandelen met een hond met jouw hond! Mijn huis is er perfect geschikt voor met een grote afgesloten tuin. Ik ben vaak doordeweeks ook overdag thuis, dus ik kan dan juist met de hond lopen. Je bent ook een dagje welkom. Ik pas op 1 hond tegelijk dus hij krijgt de hele dag volledige aandacht. Mijn werktijden zijn onregelmatig dus kijk in mijn agenda wanneer ik kan!

Grew Up with Dogs, Happy to Care for Yours

I’m 25 and grew up with dogs my whole life. In my photo album, you’ll spot a little version of me with Bella, my first dog. She was a rescue, sweet, nervous, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. Not much of a fetch player though. Losing her was my first real heartbreak. Later came Otto, the fluffy white guy in the other photos. He’s my soulmate in dog form. We did everything together. Cooking, talking, lounging around. He would follow me from room to room like a shadow with a tail. Since moving abroad, I miss him more than anything. Right now I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own, but I really miss the company. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs here and there and thought, why not do it more often. I live with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs and works hybrid, mostly from home. Together, we share the care of any dogs I dog sit, making sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. If one of us is away, the other is always there, so the dog is never left alone, and if they are, it is only for a very short time. His picture can be seen in the library with the other photos. We’d love to spend time with your dog, spoil them a little, and make them feel at home while you’re away.

Paula was available to dogsit Enzo in very short notice, and accomodated him amazingly. Not only was it very easy to communicate beforehand, on the day itself I received pictures and regular updates, he had nice long walks and loads of cuddles. When he came home, he was super happy and nice and tired of such a lovely day. Enzo will definitely be coming back, if they"ll have them. Thank you so much for the great care.

Huisdiereigenaren kunnen rekenen op een liefdevolle en betrouwbare oppas voor hun hond. Zelf honden, konijnen en katten gehad! ik zou echt op alles passen, van reptielen tot schoothondjes. Logees vind ik super gezellig en zal dan beneden slapen, zodat niemand alleen is 😊.
