I grew up with a Cairn Terrier who was a beloved part of my family for 13 years. He had a strong personality and an even bigger heart. Sadly, he passed away after battling cancer, and during his later years I was responsible for taking him to veterinary appointments and helping manage his medical care. This experience taught me not only how much joy pets bring into our lives, but also the importance of providing responsible, attentive care when they need it most. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and often find myself making new furry friends whenever I travel (many of the photos on my profile are from those encounters!). Dogs and cats have a wonderful way of bringing people together, and spending time with them is something I genuinely enjoy. I work four days a week with a flexible schedule, splitting my time between home and the office. Staying active is an important part of my lifestyle, so regular walks are already built into my routine. I’d love to share those walks with your pet. Typical walks are around 15–30 minutes several times a day, but if there’s a nearby park, beach, or forest, I’m happy to take longer outings of 1–2 hours. I live in Voorburg, next to The Hague, and am available to care for pets in the wider Hague area during evenings and weekends. I can visit your pet at home, take them for walks, provide companionship, and, if suitable, host them at my own home. My family and I live in a ground-floor apartment with a large garden, providing plenty of space for pets to relax and play. We also have a 3-year-old daughter who loves animals. For everyone’s safety and comfort, any pet staying with us should be friendly and comfortable around young children. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs, and I will always do my best to make them feel safe, cared for, and loved while you're away.

Hi pet parents, lovely to meet you! I'm Nina, 28 years old, and I grew up here in The Hague. About me I grew up with two dogs and three cats, and I've always loved taking care of them. For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. Since I've moved, they still bring their dogs to me when they go away for a longer holiday, but of course much less frequent now. Now that I'm all settled back in The Hague, I'd love to find a new address. In the past, I've worked as a nanny for five years, and I bring the same warmth and communication skills to pet sitting. I'm currently living on Javastraat with my boyfriend. He's 29 years old, really kind and loves dogs as well. He has a labradoodle back home with his parents. I'm working as a communication consultant for the government and often work from home. Jasper (the boyfriend) also has an office job, but he works at the actual office much more often. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. Als echte dierenliefhebber vind ik het geweldig om op jouw hond of kat te passen! Zelf zou ik graag een hond willen, maar door mijn drukke schema is dat helaas niet mogelijk. I am a Venezuelan, 29 years old. I recently moved to a new apartment in The Hague, together with my boyfriend, Rupert (33 years old), and we are so excited because we are allowed pets at home for the first time since we moved from our home country! I grew up with dogs as part of my family and that's the kind of family I wish to have someday in the future. Given my current lifestyle (busy with my work, going frequently to the office), I'd like to wait a bit longer until I have enough time to dedicate to them. However, I miss spending time with dogs so much, that I've decided to open an account at petbnb, and give and receive love from dogs as much as possible for the time being. I learned how to take care of dogs when I was a little girl. Our family dog, Bicho, stayed with us until I was 12 years old. After that, I was the go-to person to babysit the two dogs of my grandma and thereafter, the puppy of my aunt (all of them schnauzers). And not so long ago, I volunteered at the 'Animal Rescue' organization of Madrid (I studied my bachelor over there), where I'd take care of rescued dogs, take them for walks, and incentivize people to adopt them. My boyfriend also has vast experience with dogs. He was lucky to raise a Weimaraner and have him as his companion for over 10 years, and he currently shares caring responsibilities of his sister's Poodle - they live in Hamburg and we babysit every now and then. When it comes to my availability, I am always available during weekends -24 hours a day. However, if the booking is done some days in advance, arranging having a dog during the week is also possible, as I have the flexibility of working from home, which adds some extra availability for weekdays too. I am looking forward to meeting your dogs and loving them forever.

Domenica was sooo lovely and communicative! We were running late to drop our dogs off before an appointment and she was very accommodating, and so sweet about the dogs. They seemed to have a lovely and safe time, and we hope we will be able to leave them with Domenica again x

Lieve, creatieve en enthousiaste oppas!

Hoi! Vroeger toen ik op de basisschool zat liet ik alle honden uit de wijk uit, ik was altijd al dol op honden! Maar mijn moeder wilde geen hond. Wel had ik thuis altijd knaagdieren. Wanneer ik op mijn 19e het huis uit ging wist ik het meteen. Ik wil een hond! Ik ben dol op alle rassen maar wat mij toen toch het meeste aansprak waren de zogenoemde powerbreeds. Zo kocht ik mijn eerste Amerikaanse Stafford teefje. Geweldig lief dier, grote mond maar een klein hartje. Daarop volgde nog 2 honden. Nog een Amerikaanse Stafford en een Amerikaanse Pitbull Terrier. Ik heb dus jaren lang met 3 honden geleefd. Totaal 14 jaar lang honden in huis gehad. En het waren zeker niet de makkelijkste. Konden alle 3 niet met vreemde honden omgaan. Wat voor mij geen probleem was, ik vermeed losloopgebieden en een enkele niet luisterende losloper in de wijk wimpelde ik af. Al moet je daar behoorlijk sterk voor in je schoenen staan. Ik ben een ontzettend verantwoordelijke hondenbezitter geweest. Dat is nou eenmaal een must als je met sterke rassen leeft. Helaas heb ik 2 maanden geleden mijn laatste reu in moeten laten slapen. Nu na 14 jaar honden gehad te hebben is het huis zo stil! Ik mis het verschrikkelijk maar weer een eigen hond nemen is me nog te snel. Ik ben nu vooral beschikbaar in het weekend, door de weeks in overleg wellicht mogelijk. Heel belangrijk; ik heb een zoontje van 2,5 jaar oud. Ook hem leer ik om verantwoord met dieren om te gaan Hij mag nog niet achter een vogel aan rennen op straat haha. Ik verheug me ontzettend om weer af en toe lekker bezig te zijn met een hond(je). Lekker wandelen, wat trainen op een leuke positieve manier of een denkspelletje, ik sta overal voor open. En ook zeker voor alle rassen van groot tot klein!

Het was weer super. Silky relaxed en goed verzorgd.

Absoluut een hondenmens

Al vanaf jongs af aan ben ik al dol op honden. Ik had dan ook het geluk dat we thuis een hond hadden, namelijk een drentsche patrijs. Helaas wonen mijn ouders helemaal aan de andere kant van het land en zie ik mijn hond niet meer zovaak. Ik vind het heerlijk om met honden te wandelen, spelen en knuffelen. Lekker naar het bos of naar het strand om de hond (en mezelf) vermoeid te maken zodat hij daarna lekker kan doezelen. Het is dan ook heel handig dat ik het Haagse bos mijn achtertuin kan noemen om zo altijd een goede ronde te kunnen lopen in een hondvriendelijke omgeving.

For us, it’s their stay, their way! We allow them on the bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. We always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Our preference is always to look after your pet at your home, for a couple of reasons. Most importantly, your pet doesn’t have to suffer any stress due to a change in environment, they can keep doing what they do in the comfort of their own home :) secondly, if we housesit we can also make sure that alls well with the house itself :) we can sometimes arrange to keep your pet at our apartment, but this is not ideal for them in our opinion. We are both flexible with our schedules, so hopefully we should be able to help you out ! At the moment, Karina has a day job while Keir works in the evenings, so there’s always someone around for your pets needs :) We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your special friends :)

Karina stayed in our house to look after our dog, McGregor, and cat, Greyton, over a period of five days. She was very accommodating of our needs and extremely kind and attentive to our pets, and stayed in communication with us every day. We came back to find the house was spotless and the animals very happy indeed! I recommend Karina whole-heartedly and without any reservation!

We zijn een jong stel (30 & 24) die zijn opgegroeid met dieren om ons heen (honden, paarden, katten, schapen, kippen, vogels). Nu we na onze studenten/starters tijd wat meer ritme en tijd hebben, willen we graag een hond om ons heen. Daarom zijn we op zoek naar leuke oppashonden. We houden erg van het buitenleven en wandelen graag in het bos, over het strand of door de weilanden. We hebben een ruim appartement met een balkon, genoeg plek voor een hond. We beschikken daarnaast over een auto. We hebben veel ervaring met eigen honden en kunnen voldoende aandacht & beweging geven en daarnaast zorg dragen mocht er een keer iets met de hond zijn. We zijn in principe alleen beschikbaar in de weekenden ivm werk. Op werkdagen oppassen is mogelijk in overleg, mits het oppassen min. 7 dagen aaneengesloten betreft. Let op: gezien we in een bovenwoning wonen moet de hond kunnen traplopen/makkelijk te tillen zijn.

Moos heeft een fantastische verblijf gehad. Ik kreeg geregeld een foto of filmpje waarop ik kon zien hoe ontspannen Moos was. Erg blij met de opvang

Als je kat medicatie nodig heeft, kan ik daar ook voor zorgen. Mijn Voorkeuren: Ik pas het liefst op honden en katten die gewend zijn aan andere mensen. Ik heb ervaring met zowel actieve als rustige dieren en vind het fijn om ze de zorg te geven die bij hun persoonlijkheid past. Speciale zorgbehoeften zijn voor mij geen probleem. Of het nu gaat om medicijnen, dieetwensen of extra aandacht, ik ben er om te zorgen dat je dier zich goed voelt. Kortom, ik ben een betrouwbare oppas die van dieren houdt en graag zorgt voor je huisdier, of het nu voor een paar uur of een langere tijd is. Je krijgt van mij updates zodat je altijd weet hoe het gaat, en jij kunt rustig verder met je plannen.

I have always had cats growing up, our first was when I was 1.5 years old, a beautiful Maine coon named CJ. I currently live next to laan van noi with Milo (a European tuxedo short hair cat that loves food, he's the first one in my photos). At my parents place we have 2 cat brothers, pepito and super Mario, they are 10 years old, and Frida a Maltese, she is now 7 and loves being at the center of attention. I've taken care of both our own and friends pets, both cats and dogs. I have a pretty laid back schedule for work and can plan in walks at any time of the day really, mornings preferably not before 8am, can do afternoon and evenings. The walks are usually 30-45 minutes long, also depending on what the dog requires, some play time, cuddles. I am usually not free on Mondays as I'm in the office, but I can spend time with your pet in the evenings. I'd love to go on more walks during the day and hence I’d love to spend some time with your pet. I currently can't have any dogs, but would love to in the future. I will take care of your pet as if it were my own, I will send you pictures of them during my daily visits and or walks. Im happy to come over to feed and play with your pet, water any plants, and check the post, while making sure to respect the boundary of your pet, everyone has their own personality.
