We zijn een huishouden met twee volwassenen (Eva & Daniel), een kindje (4 jaar) en twee oudere rescue hondjes (12 en 16 jaar) die graag nieuwe vriendjes willen maken. We wonen in een rijtjeshuis met een tuin waar de hondjes lekker in het zonnetje kunnen liggen. We hebben veel spelletjes (balletjes, snuffelmat, touwen) en we houden van wandelen. We wandelen minimaal 3x per dag, afhankelijk van het weer. We werken om en om vanuit huis en hebben 20+ jaar ervaring met verschillende soorten honden (van Bichon Frise tot Newfoundlander). In overleg zijn we op alle dagen beschikbaar. Boek je de uitlaat service bij jou thuis? Ik doe alleen een korte uitlating zodat de hond zijn/haar behoefte kan doen, helaas kan ik niet 30 min wandelen. Bij ons thuis doen we wel een lange wandeling. We accepteren alleen gecastreerde en gesteriliseerde honden. Voor een last minute verzoek komt er een toeslag van €10.

Wij waren heel blij met de opvang van onze grote lieve, maar iets koppige hond door Eva. Zij was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Wij maken graag weer gebruik van haar diensten.

DogSister - óók voor de poes!

Mijn kennis is gebaseerd op intuïtie en gezond verstand. In de loop van de tijd heb ik veel ervaring mogen opdoen met het begeleiden van honden en hun baasjes, door liefdevol af te stemmen op de behoeftes van het dier. * I'm fluent in English * Je parle Français couramment * Ich spreche ein wenig Deutsch LET OP: de vergoeding die automatisch wordt gecalculeerd klopt meestal niet. Helaas kan ik dit niet voorkomen. Ik kom graag naar jouw huis om voor je hond te zorgen. Vaak is het beter om een hond in de eigen vertrouwde omgeving te laten wanneer de baas een poosje weggaat. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer een hond ziek is of net geopereerd, of nogal oud of juist heel jong, of hij/zij heeft misschien een gebruiksaanwijzing of kan niet goed alleen zijn. Of er is helemaal niets aan de hand en is-tie hartstikke braaf - dat kan natuurlijk ook! Minstens vier keer per dag doen we een wandeling, ik speel spelletjes die voor jouw hond geschikt zijn, natuurlijk wordt er volop geknuffeld en uiteraard zorg ik voor de nodige rust. Als je wilt kan ik je op de hoogte houden van hoe het met je hond gaat, door je regelmatig berichtjes en foto's te sturen. De meeste baasjes vinden dat wel fijn, zeker in het begin. Dat kan ik ook goed begrijpen, want het is toch een hele stap om je hond aan een ander toe te vertrouwen. Behalve opvang voor de hond geef ik ook coaching en training voor baasje & hond samen. Ik heb veel ervaring met puppies, maar ook met dove honden en honden die dementeren. Verder kan ik helpen bij diverse opvoedingsproblemen (zelfs op latere leeftijd), waaronder trauma's, prooinijd, verlatingsangst en natuurlijk trekken aan de lijn. In geval van zeer ernstige gedragsstoornissen moet ik weleens doorverwijzen. Mijn tarieven kunnen voor iedere hond en situatie weer anders zijn, dus let niet op het bedrag wat automatisch bij je aanvraag verschijnt. Bijvoorbeeld: voor een wekelijkse lange wandeling vraag ik meestal €25, maar als ik in de vakantie drie weken bij een hond logeer dan tel ik €50 per dag. Voor een tweede of derde hond van hetzelfde baasje reken ik natuurlijk niet het volle pond! Van tevoren spreek ik altijd af om uitgebreid kennis te maken en daarna doe ik een voorstel. Logeren bij honden doe ik tijdens de schoolvakanties ook buiten Leiden. Mijn beschikbaarheid op de PetBnB kalender houd ik niet altijd precies bij. Neem gerust contact op om te overleggen over de mogelijkheden voor jouw hond.

Leuk om soms weer een hond in huis te hebben.

Hebben eerder een labrador en daarna een King Charles spaniël gehad. En vaker opgepast op andere soorten zoals Grand Bassets en Labradoodles. Hebben veel tijd, maar ook een boot waarop we de hond ook in het weekend zullen meenemen. Wij willen zelf niet aan een nieuwe hond beginnen, maar vinden wandelen met de hond en een hond in huis heerlijk. Gaan dan naar bossen en als het mag maar het strand. Zijn duidelijk/streng waardoor onze honden nooit op bedden en banken gingen liggen en zich ook bij anderen netjes gedroegen. Anderen wilden daarom ook graag op onze honden oppassen. Wij zijn een gezellige opvang voor tijdens uw vakanties of weekendjes weg. (Minimaal 4 nachten). Let op: wij doen alleen nog maar niet-verharende honden.

For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). Natuurgebied & ruime afgesloten tuin

We vinden het ontzettend gezellig om op Doodles en doodle-achtige honden te passen. Zelf hebben we een lieve, sociale Australische Labradoodle (teef) in huis, en we vinden het belangrijk dat de honden goed met elkaar overweg kunnen. Daarom passen we uitsluitend op Doodles en verwante rassen zoals Australische Labradoodles, Cobberdogs, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Bernedoodles, Cockapoos etc. We wonen in een prachtig natuurgebied met bos en een grote plas waar we dagelijks wandelen. De honden kunnen hier heerlijk vrij rennen, zwemmen en spelen. Daarnaast hebben we een grote, volledig afgesloten tuin waar ze veilig kunnen rondrennen of relaxen (zie foto’s ). Binnen hebben we voldoende ruimte zodat de honden zich kunnen terugtrekken en in alle rust kunnen slapen, eventueel ook apart als ze daar behoefte aan hebben. Er is altijd iemand thuis om aandacht te geven, te knuffelen of een extra rondje te lopen. Omdat we het belangrijk vinden dat elke hond echt de zorg krijgt die zij nodig heeft, passen we op niet meer dan één Doodle tegelijk.

When your dog comes to stay with me, they will become a member of the family alongside my own dog: Merlin, a Spanish greyhound mix! He is balanced, calm and social. Other dogs naturally look to him as a role model, and he is delighted to play the part. Together, we will take walks in Haagse Bos or Scheveningen beach, cuddle on the couch, run errands in dog-friendly spaces like the gardening center, or visit friends... I work hybrid between my home and my office (which is a 15 minute bike ride away). This gives me flexibility to offer the following services: 🛌 Boarding 🛌 - The quoted price per day guarantees a minimum of two 20-30 minute walks, and one 45-60 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. - An extra guaranteed 20-30 minute walk can be purchased for an additional €7 per day. - You will receive daily photo/video updates about your dog during their first stay. Repeat clients can get daily updates upon request, otherwise updates will be every 1-3 days. - I have to be at my office a couple of days per week. If your need me to look after your dog during periods that include office days, they need to be okay to stay at home with Merlin for up to 8 hours. Upon request, I am able to bike home during my lunch break to let your dog out for an additional €7 per office day. - Extra guaranteed walks must be requested and paid for before the booking begins. 🌞 Doggie Daycare 🌞 - The quoted price for this service applies to Tuesdays and Thursdays during office hours. - Drop-off in the morning is flexible, pickup has to be before 18h. - For doggie daycare outside of the described times, a different price applies based on the specifics of the desired booking. Feel free to reach out if you have different needs! - The quoted price guarantees one 20-30 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. Depending on my schedule and yours, your dog might get a second walk. - Extra guaranteed walks cannot be purchased for this service. - New daycare clients will receive one photo/video update per stay, regular clients will receive them upon request. 🏡 Housesitting 🏡 - For this service I will stay in your home overnight with your pets. - The same conditions apply as Boarding, with the addition that my dog Merlin must be able to stay with me and your pets at your home. - I am also experienced with cats, and a different daily price can be negotiated for them. 🐶 General 🐶 - A 'Guaranteed Walk' refers to the minimum daily walks that your dog will get during their stay. Some days we might walk more, but never less. Extra walks which weren't requested & paid for before the booking started won't be charged extra, so there will never be any surprise charges for walks at the end of the booking. - Dogs will only be let off the leash with permission of the owner and if I fully trust them to stay nearby, in spaces where this is allowed. Special walking instructions will always be followed, unless doing so risks a dangerous situation. - Dogs are allowed on the sofa. Access to the bed comes with the condition of good behavior. - If a dog needs any meals during their stay, the owner must provide the food. I can provide bowls and fresh water. - Dogs will not be given human food at any point during their stay. They will only be given dog treats with permission from the owner. - Due to high demand during the school holiday periods, I do not offer boarding and house-sitting in those dates to new clients. This includes the Summer holidays, Autumn Midterm break, Christmas holidays, February break, and Spring break. This way I can guarantee a place to stay to dogs who are already familiar with me and my home, which is better for them than having to adapt to a new place every time. - The owner is responsible for informing me about any behavioral or health issues their dog might have. This allows me to prepare a safe and comfortable environment for them ahead of time. Undisclosed issues that cause problems during the dog's stay will result in refusal to accept future bookings, and the cancellation of other existing bookings. If you're not sure whether a particular behavior could be considered an issue, be sure to mention it to me anyways. - If your dog is very senior or has any serious health issues that increase the risk of emergencies, I require extended instructions on what to do if there's an emergency and you are not reachable. These instructions should be provided in writing before the booking starts. - Any veterinary costs made by the dog during their stay that aren't covered by the petbnb guarantees, are to be paid by the owner. - By booking with me you agree to the terms stipulated in this text. Spacious enclosed garden home near Clingendaelpark

Hello, We have recently moved to a larger home in a quiet, green neighborhood right next to Clingendael Park and the Haagse Bos. This location offers direct access to some of the nicest walking routes in the area. The house has plenty of indoor space and a fully enclosed garden with grass and high hedges. Dogs can safely move around, relax outside or play, depending on their energy level. The garden is a big advantage for dogs that like having outdoor access without constant leash time. Our jobs are hybrid and we coordinate our schedules so that usually one of us is working from home. This means there is regular presence throughout the day and your dog is not left alone for long periods. We have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have been doing this since before our daughter was born. We now have a toddler at home who is used to being around dogs and enjoys their company. Because of this, it is important that your dog is comfortable around young children. At home, we keep things calm and structured. We follow a consistent routine with walks, feeding, rest and downtime. Walks are often in Clingendael or the Haagse Bos, depending on the dog and weather. Inside, dogs have space to settle and we provide simple enrichment like toys and interaction. We do not take puppies younger than 6 months. Before confirming a stay, we like to understand your dog a bit better: – How they are with other dogs – Any triggers or specific behaviour – Whether they have separation anxiety or bark frequently – Whether they are comfortable around toddlers We live in a quiet residential area with neighbors nearby, so we only accept dogs that fit a calm environment and do not bark excessively. Safety and clear communication are important to us. We keep things straightforward, maintain a secure setup and aim to make the stay predictable and comfortable for both dog and owner.
