I work partly from home, and my most reliable weekday availability is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when I work from home. Weekend stays can often be arranged as well, subject to availability. We enjoy regular walks by the lake and adapt activities to each dog's energy level. I follow feeding routines and any specific instructions carefully, and I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease while you're away. Please note that my apartment is on the second floor and is only accessible via a fairly steep staircase. To protect dogs' backs, I always carry them up and down the stairs. For this reason, I can comfortably host small dogs (up to around 10 kg), but unfortunately I'm not able to accommodate larger dogs. Al voor mijn studententijd kreeg ik mijn eerste droombaan - wekenlang op 2 geweldige Sint Bernards passen. Het bericht dat 'iemand echt leuk was met de honden' verspreidde zich, en zo werd ik steeds vaker honden-oppas. Inmiddels is die tijd voorbij - maar dit platform biedt weer mooie kansen, tot ik ooit samenwoon en me volledig aan een dier kan committeren. Ik overlaad dieren met aandacht en liefde, maar ben ook duidelijk als dat nodig is en laat ze met rust als ik merk dat ze dat liever hebben. 2 voorbeelden: - Als mijn zus op vakantie is, mogen haar katten altijd bij mij op 'retreat' (haar woorden). - Het gebeurt af en toe dat vrienden vol trots foto's van hun baby laten zien, met toevallig een hond op de achtergrond, en dat ik dan net op tijd mezelf kan corrigeren en niet vol enthousiasme roep 'ohh een ridgeback'!

Welkom thuis bij Flipje!

We hebben altijd al huisdieren gehad en daarbij kon een hond niet missen! Wij hebben zelf een labradoodle genaamd Flipje. Flipje vind het prettig om te gaan lopen, zwemmen en spelen bij ons in het park of op het strand. 08.00u-10.00u houden wij ervan om in de ochtend eerst een wandeling te maken en daarna tijd voor een eerste maaltijd. Na eten tijd voor een korte plasje of poepje. Tussendoor doen wij zoek spelletjes en is het tijd voor snacks. Tussentijds doen we enkele commando oefeningen. 13.00u-13.30U korte wandeling voor een plas of poep pauze. In de middag doen we vaak park wandelingen in Marlot een heel mooi groot dieren vrij park waar ze het naar hun zin hebben en andere honden ontmoeten. We houden ervan dat Flipje andere honden leert kennen en wij middels deze ook andere baasjes kunnen helpen voor de oppas of een nachtje slapen. Wij bieden ook de mogelijkheid voor een nachtje proefslapen als de hond voor langere tijd blijft. Wat betreft de tijden en diensten zijn we zeer flexibel en kunnen altijd over gesproken worden. Wij passen vaak op Luke, Sam, Milo, Lana & Pastis deze zijn onze vaste oppas honden. Luke is een Spaanse hond die heel veel van water en wandelen houdt. Milo is een golden labradoodle die is pas 10 maanden en vrij speels als Flipje. Lana is een boomer vrij rustig en relax. Wij hopen middels deze, eigenaren makkelijk te maken en dat wij op hun hond mogen oppassen en opvangen. Gegarandeerd zullen je honden het naar hun zin hebben. Groetjes, Flipjes Huisje

We also got updates through many photos and videos throughout the stay including one video call. Luna was happy with her friend Flip there. For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. I'm working as a communication consultant for the government and often work from home. Jasper (the boyfriend) also has an office job, but he works at the actual office much more often. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. Hondenmens zonder hond heeft liefde over

Vanwege werk kan ik helaas geen eigen hondje hebben, dus veel liefde over. Ben vanaf kinds af aan al opgevoed met honden, en er is niets leukers dan een hond uitlaten, lekker spelen of knuffelen. Ik woon in een twee-verdiepingen appartement, dus ik pas liever op honden die geen tuin nodig hebben. Vroeger hadden wij eerst een Drentse Patrijs in huis en later een labrador. Dus wel gewend aan minder kleine honden, en ook zeker honden met een persoonlijkheid. Als ik oppas zal ik zorgen dat ik zoveel mogelijk thuis ben, maar mijn voorkeur gaat wel uit naar honden die ook heel even alleen kunnen zijn, bijvoorbeeld als ik een rondje ga hardlopen.
