Ooit 7 Bali dogs gehad..............:))

Ik heb 13 jaar op Bali gewoond waar ik ooit 7 honden heb gehouden. Voornamelijk Bali dogs die op de stranden of langs de kanten van de weg zijn gedropt. Met veel pijn in mijn hart zijn 5 honden vergiftigd en 2 heb ik moeten laten inslapen. Waarvan de laatste vorig jaar februari. Nu éénmaal terug in Amsterdam mis ik mijn dagelijkse gezelschap van de viervoeter. Daarom wil ik graag zo nu en dan op een hond passen die voldoet aan mijn profiel. Omdat mijn werk als sustainable designer | entrepeneur voor een deel in ZO Azië plaats vindt is het praktisch onmogelijk om zelf nog een hond te houden.

Dogs are my favourite people

I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. At the moment I have quite flexible availability, and am always open to discussing the options to work out what is best for you and your doggo. I don't have a specific preference for the type of dogs I take care of, I love them all.

[ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. Oppas met een groot hart voor alle honden

Ik ben een enorme dierenvriendin, en honden hebben daarbij een speciaal plekje in mijn hart. Al van jongs af aan pas ik regelmatig op huisdieren van vrienden en familie wanneer zij bijvoorbeeld op vakantie zijn. Honden, katten, konijnen of vogels, alle dieren zijn welkom. Inmiddels ben ik de tel kwijt op hoeveel dieren ik heb mogen verzorgen. Mensen in mijn omgeving weten me nog steeds te vinden wanneer ze een oppas zoeken voor hun hond. Grew Up with Dogs, Happy to Care for Yours

I’m 25 and grew up with dogs my whole life. In my photo album, you’ll spot a little version of me with Bella, my first dog. She was a rescue, sweet, nervous, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. Not much of a fetch player though. Losing her was my first real heartbreak. Later came Otto, the fluffy white guy in the other photos. He’s my soulmate in dog form. We did everything together. Cooking, talking, lounging around. He would follow me from room to room like a shadow with a tail. Since moving abroad, I miss him more than anything. Right now I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own, but I really miss the company. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs here and there and thought, why not do it more often. I live with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs and works hybrid, mostly from home. Together, we share the care of any dogs I dog sit, making sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. If one of us is away, the other is always there, so the dog is never left alone, and if they are, it is only for a very short time. His picture can be seen in the library with the other photos. We’d love to spend time with your dog, spoil them a little, and make them feel at home while you’re away.

Paula was available to dogsit Enzo in very short notice, and accomodated him amazingly. Not only was it very easy to communicate beforehand, on the day itself I received pictures and regular updates, he had nice long walks and loads of cuddles. When he came home, he was super happy and nice and tired of such a lovely day. Enzo will definitely be coming back, if they"ll have them. Thank you so much for the great care.

Kinderen in vachtjes heaven

Ik heb zelf een hond van bijna 1 jaar. Hij is gek op spelen en houdt er van om op avontuur te gaan in het bos, het park en het strand. Hij is heel sociaal, maar wel druk, dus als je hond zelf niet houdt van drukke honden, dan is mijn huis wellicht geen fijne plek! Ik ben zelf op woensdagen vrij, dan wandel ik extra veel. Ik kan doorgaans veel thuiswerken dus ben flexibel met dagopvang. Ik ga 1 a 2 keer per dag naar het park voor een uitgebreide wandeling en neem balletjes mee om te spelen. Daarnaast maak ik vaak ook nog een ommetje hier in de buurt. Liever geen teefjes die niet gesteriliseerd zijn!

Het was een groot feest voor Tam! Super vriendelijk en flexibel.

Dierenhotel aan het vondel

Wonend dichtbij het Vondelpark is mijn “dierenhotel” super goed geschikt voor uw hond om te komen spelen of logeren. Op die manier kunnen we lange wandelingen maken in mijn achtertuin. Zoals ik het park zelf noem. Ook heb ik mijn eigen kleine tuintje waar uw viervoeter goed kan spelen. Of om uw hond uit te laten ben ik zeer geschikt. Zelf heb ik geen hond, maar die zou ik heel graag willen. Helpen wij elkaar uit de brand? Ik door op uw hond te passen en uw hond leert mij of het in mijn leven past. Met mijn grote liefde voor dieren gaat dat zeker goedkomen. Vragen? Schroom dan vooral niet!

I was very upset that she boarded another dog overnight. To make the things worse ,the other dog was not just the opposite sex from my dog but also, like my dog, not sterilized! Because she did't inform me about this in advance ( in which case I would book someone else) nor did she refuse to sitt another dog ( she was already payed and hired by me ). Her approach was very unprofessional. I am very dissatisfied .o
