Mijn naam is Maya, 40 jaar, geadopteerd uit Colombia en woonachtig in Rotterdam (Oude Westen). Ik ben een gevoelig en intuïtief mens met een diepe, levenslange liefde voor dieren. Voor mij zijn dieren geen huisdieren – ze zijn familie. Bij hen voel ik rust, verbinding en een natuurlijke vorm van communicatie, soms zelfs alsof we dezelfde taal spreken. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik op verschillende plekken in Nederland gezorgd voor honden en katten (regelmatig in hun eigen vertrouwde omgeving in huis) Van Texel tot in de stad – overal ben ik met open armen en poten ontvangen. Honden en katten zijn me het meest dierbaar: ik speel graag met ze, wandel, knuffel en ben gewoon graag samen, in stilte of in gezelligheid. Als een hond avontuurlijk is en houdt van boswandelingen of hiken, dan ga ik graag mee op pad. Zelf heb ik op dit moment geen dieren. Juist daardoor voelt het zorgen voor andermans dieren voor mij extra waardevol en kan ik mijn aandacht volledig aan hen geven. Een kleine tot middelgrote, rustige hond (die niet veel verhaart) mag eventueel ook bij mij thuis verblijven als dat voor beide kanten goed voelt. Houd er wel rekening mee dat ik op de derde verdieping woon en dat er steile, smalle trappen zijn. Kleine honden kan ik dragen, middelgrote en grote honden moeten zelf de trap op kunnen. Mijn voorkeur gaat vaak uit naar oppassen aan huis, zodat het dier zich het meest comfortabel voelt in zijn of haar eigen vertrouwde omgeving. Naast het oppassen ben ik een creatief mens en werk ik met energie o.a. door muziek en zang. Ik begeleid ceremonies en workshops binnen het veld van bewustzijn. Muziek en het samenzijn met dieren zijn voor mij twee van de meest natuurlijke vormen van verbinding en aanwezigheid. Dieren reageren vaak heel ontspannen op mijn rustige en zachte energie. Het komt regelmatig voor dat een hond of kat die als wat schuw of gevoelig wordt omschreven, bij mij toch snel tot rust komt en contact zoekt. Met veel geduld neem ik de tijd om een dier echt te leren kennen en me af te stemmen op wat het nodig heeft – of dat nu spelen, wandelen of gewoon rustig samen zijn is. 🚆 Reizen met het OV is voor mij geen probleem – met een reiskostenvergoeding ben ik beschikbaar in verschillende regio’s. 🏡 Voor house sitting met een hond en of kat ben ik beschikbaar voor zowel korte als langere periodes. 🧼 Ik ben een zeer schoon, bewust en respectvol persoon. 🌱 Ik leef al jaren (10 jaar) veganistisch, vanuit mijn liefde en respect voor dieren en mijn eigen gezondheid. 🇳🇱🇬🇧 Ik spreek zowel Nederlands als Engels vloeiend en 🇨🇴 Spaans een kleine beetje. ik heb zelf sinds jongs af aan honden gehad bij mijn ouders thuis, dat waren 3 labradors, deze heb ik meegemaakt van de leeftijd 4 tot 14 +- later heb ik bij een pleeggezin gewoond met 2 lieve teckels, de jongste was destijds 2 en de oudste 7. ik wandelde graag met ze en ik vind het leuk om met ze te spelen. ik heb vroeger ergens anders gewoond waar ook een Jack Russel woonde, daar heb ik dus enigzins ervaring mee en mijn beste vriend heeft 5 jaar lang een kruising gehad tussen een chihuahua en een Franse bulldog, daar was ik regelmatig mee aan het wandelen en aan het oppassen. ik vind het fijn om alles in overleg te doen met het baasje wat jouw hond wel of niet fijn vind en gewend is. bij mij zijn alle honden welkom, ik zal voor elke hond evenveel mijn best doen 😃 mijn vriend zal er ook weleens bij zijn. momenteel ben ik erg druk met rijlessen tot minimaal eind mei.

Wij zijn Sandor en Merel, 29 en 28 jaar, en wonen samen in Rotterdam. Volgend jaar gaan we trouwen en zijn we volop bezig met het bouwen van onze toekomst samen. Onze werksituatie biedt veel mogelijkheden om een hond voldoende aandacht te geven. Sandor werkt als Business Development Manager bij TOPdesk in Delft en kan drie dagen per week thuiswerken. Merel werkt als cabin attendant bij KLM en heeft een wisselend rooster, waardoor ze na het vliegen regelmatig meerdere dagen vrij en thuis is. We kunnen onze roosters goed op elkaar afstemmen en vinden het belangrijk dat een hond niet structureel lang alleen hoeft te zijn.

Familie past graag op kindvriendelijke dieren

Een familie met grote dierenvrienden. Onze 1.5 jaar oude zoon is compleet dol op dieren in alle soorten en maten. We hebben zelf geen huisdieren omdat we regelmatig op vakantie gaan. Daarom stellen we ons huis graag open voor jouw huisdieren. Wegens onze zoon dus alleen huisdieren die leuk met kleine kinderen zijn. Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son, who both love animals just as much as I do and have been incredibly supportive of me taking this step. We also share our home with Bully, an American bully size pocket, a very special member of our family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: we have a dog living in our home. For this reason, every dog staying with us will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog We have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. My garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! Above all, I value the safety of every dog in my care. Our garden has been prepared with this in mind, so dogs can enjoy their time outside in a safe environment. My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me a lot about routines, wellbeing and the importance of noticing even the smallest changes. I also have practical experience with dogs with allergies and sensitive skin, including skin-care routines and ongoing maintenance. Any specific care is always provided according to the owner's instructions and, where necessary, veterinary guidance. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because we have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. That's why I like to get to know every pet before caring for them. I want to understand their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and individual needs. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, respected and happy while you're away and to give you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for with genuine attention and affection. Since I am flexible with my work schedule, I'm happy to build long-term connections to be trusted and more comfortable in spaces and also the connection of the pets. Later, I will also allow the pets in my space if needed. (I will only accept vaccinated pets in my space) I am new to this app, but not with dogs. Nina's breed is a King charles spaniel but my dream is to one day make space for a Great Dane which is double my size.

Justine took care of Kiki for a day and she did a great job! I liked getting photo updates and when I was delayed for pickup she was understanding and flexible. I would happily book Justine again.

Wij zijn Pam en Vinnie en wonen samen met onze hond Rolo en onze ragdoll-kat Vino. Dieren zijn voor ons echt onderdeel van het gezin en daarom vinden we het ontzettend leuk om af en toe op een hondje te passen. Voor Rolo is het gezellig om een speelmaatje over de vloer te hebben en wij genieten er enorm van om nog meer viervoeters om ons heen te hebben. We wonen op loopafstand van het bos, waardoor we bijna dagelijks lange wandelingen maken. Jouw hond krijgt dus alle ruimte om lekker te snuffelen, te spelen en zijn energie kwijt te kunnen. Natuurlijk stemmen we de wandelingen af op de leeftijd, conditie en behoeften van jouw hond. Ook binnen is het gezellig. Rolo is een sociale, vriendelijke hond die dol is op spelen en Vino is een rustige ragdoll-kat die het gewend is om met honden samen te leven. Ze spelen regelmatig samen en zijn beide opgegroeid in een liefdevolle omgeving. Zoek je een liefdevolle oppas waar jouw hond wordt behandeld alsof hij of zij even onderdeel is van ons gezin?
