When your dog comes to stay with me, they will become a member of the family alongside my own dog: Merlin, a Spanish greyhound mix! He is balanced, calm and social. Other dogs naturally look to him as a role model, and he is delighted to play the part. Together, we will take walks in Haagse Bos or Scheveningen beach, cuddle on the couch, run errands in dog-friendly spaces like the gardening center, or visit friends... I work hybrid between my home and my office (which is a 15 minute bike ride away). This gives me flexibility to offer the following services: 🛌 Boarding 🛌 - The quoted price per day guarantees a minimum of two 20-30 minute walks, and one 45-60 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. - An extra guaranteed 20-30 minute walk can be purchased for an additional €7 per day. - You will receive daily photo/video updates about your dog during their first stay. Repeat clients can get daily updates upon request, otherwise updates will be every 1-3 days. - I have to be at my office a couple of days per week. If your need me to look after your dog during periods that include office days, they need to be okay to stay at home with Merlin for up to 8 hours. Upon request, I am able to bike home during my lunch break to let your dog out for an additional €7 per office day. - Extra guaranteed walks must be requested and paid for before the booking begins. 🌞 Doggie Daycare 🌞 - The quoted price for this service applies to Tuesdays and Thursdays during office hours. - Drop-off in the morning is flexible, pickup has to be before 18h. - For doggie daycare outside of the described times, a different price applies based on the specifics of the desired booking. This includes the Summer holidays, Autumn Midterm break, Christmas holidays, February break, and Spring break. This way I can guarantee a place to stay to dogs who are already familiar with me and my home, which is better for them than having to adapt to a new place every time. - The owner is responsible for informing me about any behavioral or health issues their dog might have. This allows me to prepare a safe and comfortable environment for them ahead of time. Undisclosed issues that cause problems during the dog's stay will result in refusal to accept future bookings, and the cancellation of other existing bookings. If you're not sure whether a particular behavior could be considered an issue, be sure to mention it to me anyways. - If your dog is very senior or has any serious health issues that increase the risk of emergencies, I require extended instructions on what to do if there's an emergency and you are not reachable. We wandelen minimaal 3x per dag, afhankelijk van het weer. We werken om en om vanuit huis en hebben 20+ jaar ervaring met verschillende soorten honden (van Bichon Frise tot Newfoundlander). In overleg zijn we op alle dagen beschikbaar. Boek je de uitlaat service bij jou thuis? Ik doe alleen een korte uitlating zodat de hond zijn/haar behoefte kan doen, helaas kan ik niet 30 min wandelen. Bij ons thuis doen we wel een lange wandeling. We accepteren alleen gecastreerde en gesteriliseerde honden. Voor een last minute verzoek komt er een toeslag van €10.

Wij waren heel blij met de opvang van onze grote lieve, maar iets koppige hond door Eva. Zij was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Wij maken graag weer gebruik van haar diensten.

Onze werksituatie biedt veel mogelijkheden om een hond voldoende aandacht te geven. Sandor werkt als Business Development Manager bij TOPdesk in Delft en kan drie dagen per week thuiswerken. Merel werkt als cabin attendant bij KLM en heeft een wisselend rooster, waardoor ze na het vliegen regelmatig meerdere dagen vrij en thuis is. We kunnen onze roosters goed op elkaar afstemmen en vinden het belangrijk dat een hond niet structureel lang alleen hoeft te zijn.

Als een hond avontuurlijk is en houdt van boswandelingen of hiken, dan ga ik graag mee op pad. Zelf heb ik op dit moment geen dieren. Juist daardoor voelt het zorgen voor andermans dieren voor mij extra waardevol en kan ik mijn aandacht volledig aan hen geven. Een kleine tot middelgrote, rustige hond (die niet veel verhaart) mag eventueel ook bij mij thuis verblijven als dat voor beide kanten goed voelt. Houd er wel rekening mee dat ik op de derde verdieping woon en dat er steile, smalle trappen zijn. Kleine honden kan ik dragen, middelgrote en grote honden moeten zelf de trap op kunnen. Mijn voorkeur gaat vaak uit naar oppassen aan huis, zodat het dier zich het meest comfortabel voelt in zijn of haar eigen vertrouwde omgeving. Naast het oppassen ben ik een creatief mens en werk ik met energie o.a. door muziek en zang. Ik begeleid ceremonies en workshops binnen het veld van bewustzijn. Muziek en het samenzijn met dieren zijn voor mij twee van de meest natuurlijke vormen van verbinding en aanwezigheid. Dieren reageren vaak heel ontspannen op mijn rustige en zachte energie. Het komt regelmatig voor dat een hond of kat die als wat schuw of gevoelig wordt omschreven, bij mij toch snel tot rust komt en contact zoekt.
