Nina took great care of our dog when we were away for a couple of days. She made our dog feel at home immediately and shared updates and pictures with us so we knew the dog was in good hands. When I adopted her 6 years ago, my life has completely changed: before that I could not imagine waking up early or being outside for hours. Now this is one of the part of my life that I enjoy doing the most. My dog is very playful and can be a good company for other dogs, she really enjoys when another one is around, so I would be happy to host your dog as well. Nearby my home there is a big park (Nelson Mandela) and a dog beach is closeby (Gaasperplas). Besides my dog I would take care of only yours. I usually go for two longer walks per day, but this can be based on your dog's routine, as Pihe is always up to have fun. Pihe has two beds and she is happy to offer one of those to our guest :) I know it is not easy to find someone reliable who takes care of my dog as I would take care of her, so I treat the pets with this mindset. As an owner I also prefer sitter for the long-run, so I would be happy to know and sit your dog on a regular basis. I am also happy to take care of your cat when you go on a holiday!

Tommy spent nearly a month with Pihe and Bella and he loved it! Pihe was very friendly and kept him company and played with him every day. Bella took great care of him and we will definitely book her again.

Goedendag! Bent u op zoek naar een hondenoppas? Ik ben beschikbaar in de weekenden en vaak ook door de weeks. Voor logeren, uitlaten in Buitenveldert of directe omgeving. Ik woon vlakbij het Amsterdamse Bos en een aantal parken in Zuid. Zelf heb ik Staffords gehad en ervaring met in een rustige en kalme sfeer honden tot hun recht te laten komen. Een paar jaar geleden heb ik me verdiept in stressreductie bij honden. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar honden die enigszins getraind zijn. ik heb als kind altijd dieren om me heen gehad. Van paarden tot honden, van vogels tot konijnen. Mis dat nog steeds, zeker als het om honden gaat. Mag weleens oppassen op de hond van mijn baas maar dat is maar sporadisch. In our search for a calm but secure sitter we found Sanika and Arjan here in Petbnb. Raiku is a white shepherd with a complete manual so to speak (but he will be "that guy" just to suprise you) - but when he is in his comfort zone he is a fairly relaxed white 1 year old shepherd. He took a day to settle in (which is really short for a white shepherd, so kuddos right there) - and after that Raiku was his own relaxed self again. We are a couple in our 30s with plenty of experience caring for dogs. we have an 8-year-old Boxer who’s very friendly and used to being around other dogs. Our home isn’t big, but it’s cozy and welcoming. We take our dog and any guest dog out 4 times a day, and there’s a dog park right next to our place . If your dog is friendly and good off leash, we can take them there for a run, otherwise we stick to safe walks around the neighborhood. We will treat your dog like ours and make sure he/she is confortable and happy in our company.

France has a lot of experience with dogs and clearly loves them a lot. She and her lovely dog Obelix welcomed Moos, he had a wonderful day. France sent me some pictures during the day and I knew he was in good hands. I can highly recommend France!

easy going dog sitting in Amsterdam west

My boyfriend Tim and I love dogs. I grew up in a vet family with loads of pets and all sorts of dogs around. Since our Cypriot dog passed away last year we have been dog sitting various neighborhood furry friends. We work from home most of the time, which gives us flexibility to do frequent walks and little adventures. We live right next to Erasmus and Rembrandt park. If time permits and if your dog is up for it, we love going to the forest or the beach. The appartment isn’t huge but well catered for a dog, and we love playing and training with dogs as well. The house is only accessible by stairs.

Tesse and Tim alternated the walks with - and care for - Felan. He loved them equally. On the pictures sent by Tesse an Tim is clearly visible that Felan had a great time when they sat him. Communication went smoothly, all in all I can only hope that we can prolongue this petsitting arrangement in the future.

Het lijkt me leuk om te mogen zorgen voor uw hond en buiten te wandelen, te spelen, en te knuffelen (als zij dat ook willen natuurlijk!). Ik ben als student nog heel flexibel in mijn beschikbaarheid en zeer zorgvuldig in mijn planning zodat ik genoeg tijd kan maken voor jouw maatje :) Ik heb vroeger met mijn ouders een oude belgische herder uit het asiel in huis genomen om hem een leukere plek te geven tot zijn overlijden. Ik werkte destijds ook als vrijwilliger in het asiel bij de honden. Mijn opa had ook altijd een hond en ik vind het erg leuk om met honden te werken en hun persoonlijkheid beter te leren kunnen. Ik woon in Amsterdam Oost vlakbij park Frankendael op de begane grond, dus ook honden die moeite hebben met trappen zouden hier langs kunnen komen.
