(Note - We speak a little Dutch, but English is our first language!) We zijn al meer dan 25 jaar hondenbezitters en al die honden zijn reddingshonden geweest, dus we zouden in staat moeten zijn om voor honden te zorgen die speciale overwegingen hebben. Ik werk vanuit huis zodat uw hond niet alleen in huis hoeft te blijven. We hebben zelf een hond (mopshond / terriër mix), maar we zullen voorzichtig zijn bij het introduceren van uw hond om er zeker van te zijn dat ze samen gelukkig zijn. Scheiding is mogelijk als dat nodig is of de voorkeur heeft. Ik heb ervaring met verschillende honden van alle groottes. Al mijn persoonlijke honden zijn reddingshonden geweest, dus als uw hond speciale vereisten heeft, kunnen we ze meestal onderbrengen! We hebben een elf jaar oude Pug / West Highland Terrier-kruising. Zijn naam is Buddy.

Since the day I was born, I have always lived with an animal. I have cared for many different animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, budgies, fish, turtles, parrots, and hamsters. I recently moved here from abroad, and to ease the longing I feel for my dogs, I wanted to help take care of someone else’s pet and look after them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring my dogs with me because they are large and live with my mom in a house with a big garden. Please read all the info below before making your booking! I have been around and taken care of dogs my entire life. We had two dogs when I was a child I was trusted taking care of and walk during my lunch breaks at school from a very young age. My family travelled a lot when I was young and wherever we went I would find packs of street dogs to play with, which now when I’m a parent sounds insane (and quite dangerous) but it very much shaped how I see and relate to dogs and taught me how to communicate, read body language and understand pack dynamic. I have adopted and fostered many dogs throughout my life, and have been watching and training dogs for friends and family over the years many times. Also very interested in dog psychology and behaviour in general, and their inner workings is a genuine interest for me. Dog sitting is my full time job, I’m very good at it and take it seriously. I usually spend most of my days outside with the dogs I have, it’s great for exercise and socialising and we all enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I also enjoy to bring them along for outings or other activities since I love the company. My kids are at school during the day so I have lots of time and I really enjoy walking and being outside so it’s absolutely not a chore. Different dogs have different needs of course and I do my best to accommodate that. I love biking with dogs since you can sort of “play run” together and it’s a great way to get a lot of exercise for high energy dogs, and even if a dog is not used to running next to a bike, most get the hang of it fast and I am of course very careful to make sure there’s no accidents. My house is also full of toys, activity puzzles and games, it’s important they get mental simulation as well physical. My kids are good and calm with animals, and love dogs so they are delighted about weekend stays but of course they don’t walk them and I generally don’t leave my kids alone with the dogs I host. Our cat Styx, a Maine Coon male, is raised around dogs and makes friends with most of them given a bit of time, even dogs that otherwise goes nuts when they see a cat outside! We live in a house with a lift so larger or older dogs doesn’t have to climb down stairs, the flat itself has three floors so easy and spacious with the cat living upstairs and visiting dogs downstairs. Some dogs I have regularly of course get upstairs privileges when we’re all comfortable together and maybe aren’t covered in mud! The size of the flat does also mean I can easily keep dogs and cats separated so there’s never been an issue in all the years I’ve been doing this. The downstairs floor is also large enough to keep dogs separated if necessary, I have lots of fences and baby gates I can set up. The terrace is great for fresh air and playtime. We also live very close to many green areas suitable for off leash walking, biking and swimming. I have experience with and really enjoy large dogs and don’t mind being out entire days with wolf/working breeds if they need it. My philosophy is that a dog that is provided a lot of exercise, play, boundaries, structure and a calm and assertive pack leader will be a happy and balanced one! Please note! -Do provide food, toys, chew bones, treats and toilet bags for your dogs visit. If requested I can provide this but will ask to be refunded for any additional expenses. I have lots of bowls, towels and beds etc so no need to bring that. -If your dog needs a lot of special attention, is not fully house trained or have a very labour intensive schedule you need to inform me of this in advance so we can discuss. Also if your dog can’t be together with other dogs or off leash I need to know before we finalise the booking. -I can’t accept dogs with severe behavioural problems or that barks a lot. If there are undisclosed issues like aggression, barking or destructive/unmanageable behaviour I reserve the right to terminate the booking and request you to find another arrangements for the rest of the stay, or I will ask an extra fee so be aware of this. Please don’t downplay issues since that will only cause trouble for everyone involved later on. -I will accept bookings for cats if they are spayed/neutered and very good with other cats, dogs and kids. I enjoy taking care of dogs. For my 8th birthday my parents gave me the best present of my life—a puppy. Funnily enough, the puppy's name was Gift. He quickly became a family member, and I was his "mom”,taking care of him. Hi allemaal! I.v.m. internationale hondeneigenaren is de introductie in het Engels. I’m a 26-year-old student with lifelong experience in training and raising dogs. By taking behavioral dog training courses as well as teaching our late Swiss shepherd agility and tracking, I’ve grown to love shepherds and retrievers. However, I am a big fan of most other breeds too! While I live in an apartment, it is located right next to the Amstel - with plenty outdoor space and a short metro ride from Gaasperplas. I’m well-versed in outdoor and indoor activities, and like to keep dogs occupied and happy. Open for discussion is the question whether your dog likes to do shared walks - my parents live nearby with our Collie-Husky mix (as seen in my fourth photo). (Note: when I’m unavailable, my mother (an experienced dog trainer) likes to offer herself up as a back-up. I can ask for her availability too, if your dog doesn’t mind staying with her and the family dog.) Chili heeft een super fijne dag gehad bij Kim :hugging:! Lekker veel gespeeld en veel ruimte gekregen om haar energie kwijt te raken! Zelfs nog wat trainingen tussendoor. Overall, blije pup! En wij waren blij met alle tussentijdse updates/filmpjes! Ze kijkt er naar uit om volgend weekend een nachtje te logeren en weer met Marlowe te spelen.

I have loved dogs all my life from childhood forth

I am 68 year old but have a lot of experience with dogs. I have had 4 dogs myself as long as I am married (37 years), and have looked after dogs of the neigbours too since my childhood. I love dogs very much. One of my neighbours had a problem with his American Pitbul Terrier and had so much trust in me, that I took care of this young dog more than a year in my own house, till they reshaped their house to better fit the animals (dogs and cats) that they had. I loved this intelligent special dog, and trained him to be a good and save dog to keep. I work full time during the week, so I am at this moment only available on Saturdays and on Sunday afternoon for full care. I can walk dogs also now and then in the evening if its near my house. Enthousiaste, energieke & betrouwbare oppas!

Over mij: Sinds ik op mijzelf woon pas ik regelmatig op honden (en soms katten): gewoon omdat ik het leuk vind en graag buiten ben! Zelf een huisdier nemen is geen mogelijkheid gezien mijn fulltime baan, dus dit is een fijne oplossing met alleen maar winnaars! Aanvullende info: Ik heb 3,5 jaar in een dierenasiel gewerkt en daardoor ervaring met kleine honden (0-10kg), maar ook met grote honden zoals Turkse Herders (45-55kg). Ik deins daarom echt niet terug door het uiterlijk van een hond en de vooroordelen die bestaan over een ras, maar ik vind het wel belangrijk dat de hond betrouwbaar en goed opgevoed is. Neem gerust contact op! Ik ben flexibel en denk graag mee. - Op vrijdagen alleen vanaf eind van de middag (tenzij feestdag). - In weekenden ook in omgeving Twente mogelijk.

Onze Bowie heeft echt een geweldige week met Anouk gehad! Onze dalmaat is namelijk best een eigenzinnig geval en houdt niet zo van verandering. Dat wij een weekje zonder haar op vakantie gaan, vindt ze al niet zo leuk en moet ze echt even uit haar comfortzone komen. Maar daarom was het des te fijner dat ze wel lekker in haar eigen omgeving kon blijven en Anouk zich een hele week over haar heeft ontfermd in ons huis. Het is vantevoren best spannend hoe dat zal uitpakken, maar Anouk is echt een zeer betrokken oppas met veel hondenkennis en -ervaring. Door haar rust en geduld, hebben wij ook echt kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. Ze stuurde ons elke dag even een korte update en het huis was helemaal netjes toen we weer thuis kwamen. Wij zijn superblij met Anouk en de volgende keer gaan we haar zeker weer vragen, ze echt een topper!

In our search for a calm but secure sitter we found Sanika and Arjan here in Petbnb. Raiku is a white shepherd with a complete manual so to speak (but he will be "that guy" just to suprise you) - but when he is in his comfort zone he is a fairly relaxed white 1 year old shepherd. He took a day to settle in (which is really short for a white shepherd, so kuddos right there) - and after that Raiku was his own relaxed self again. Dieren hebben altijd als een rode draad door mijn leven gelopen. Als kind hadden wij thuis altijd honden, katten, konijnen, cavia's ( niet alles te gelijk:), heb jarenlang paard gereden. Mijn 2 zoons en ik zelf hebben onze eerste gezamenlijke hond, op 11 jarige leeftijd moeten laten gaan.Missen hem intens. Hebben nu nog 1 poes van 14 jaar en sinds maart 2023 een zeer sociale, rustige, goed opgevoede, 3 jarige Siberische Husky die ik vanuit de pleeg , ( toen werkend bij een asiel) en training uiteindelijk bij mij is gebleven. Het lijkt mij heerlijk om in een andere mooie omgeving voor een lieve andere sociale hond ( en ) te zorgen, mits ik Zoya ,mijn Siberische Husky mee kan/mag nemen.Samen te wandelen, te spelen en genieten van de omgeving ( mogen ook andere dieren bij zijn natuurlijk :)) Eind 2019 aan werk gegaan als vrijwilliger bij een dierenasiel op de honden afdeling. Begin van Corona, was ik daar zo'n 3 tot 4x p.w.en hielp de kennels schoonmaken, wandelen, socialiseren, trainen van de honden, inwerken nieuwe mensen, ondersteunen vrijwilligers, bijeenkomsten enz. Veel geleerd en meer passie voor de honden gekregen. Hierdoor besloten o.a. een opleiding te volgen tot hondengedragstherapeut Tevens met 8 anderen in dienst geweest als Puppyteam voor 7 maanden In wisseldiensten, 18 Drachtige mama's ondersteund + socialisatie met geboorte van totaal 142 pups en bijkomende werkzaamheden. Een bijzondere en rijke ervaring. Daarna blijven hangen bij het hondenteam zelf. Nu niet meer werkzaam bij het asiel, wel zelf coachen en trainen van honden en mensen. Tevens Sport & Ontspanning therapeut. Daarvoor jaren in evenementen branche gewerkt. Beurzen, congressen, evenementen nat.+Int. Alles zzp, wat mij vooral de laatste jaren zeer flexibel maakt:) Ik hou van de natuur en buiten zijn. Vooral bos,duin,heide. Mijn liefde voor honden is groot, en met jarenlange ervaring met zorg voor verschillende hondenrassen, verwacht ik dat jouw hond een leuke tijd zal gaan hebben, door: Uitlaten & hardloopsessies (structureel of sporadisch): Normale, kortere wandelingen of lange wandelroutes tot 15 km kunnen worden afgestemd op de energie van jouw hond. Speciale hardlooproutes voor energieke honden, zoals langs de Amstel (12 km) of door het Beatrixpark (5 km) kunnen we ook doen, in overleg. In parken in de buurt van jullie huis of mijn huis, kan jouw hond los, als dat gewenst is. Als jullie in (de buurt van) Amsterdam-Zuid wonen, lijkt het me heel leuk om structureel een hond uit te laten. Ik sta er dus zeker voor open om een vaste dag af te spreken of om vast uitlater te worden. Dagopvang (Geschikt voor 1 hond of 2 honden die samenwonen): Zowel mijn vriend als ik zijn echte hondenliefhebbers, dus jouw hond krijgt volop aandacht en liefde. Wij wonen in ruim appartement (140 m²) op de 3e verdieping in Amsterdam-Zuid. Het appartement heeft een balkon en in de zomer zetten we de openslaande deuren altijd open zodat de hond op het balkon kan liggen wanneer hij of zij dat wil. Uiteraard kunnen we de deuren sluiten, mocht een hond (of baasje) het spannend vinden. Binnen 5 minuten zijn we in het Beatrixpark met een speciale losloopplek en we zijn op loopafstand van de Amstel, waar we door het gras kunnen (hard)lopen. Ik sta er zeker voor open een om een vaste oppasdag per week af te spreken, maar het lijkt me ook leuk om af en toe een oppasadres te zijn. Het is voor de baas het meest praktisch als jullie in (de buurt van) Amsterdam-Zuid wonen. Logeren (Geschikt voor 1 hond of 2 honden die samenwonen): De hond krijgt een slaapplek in de ruime gang in ons appartement op de beneden of bovenverdieping. Honden die logeren wat spannender vinden, mogen direct bij onze slaapkamerdeur. Dus of jouw hond nu een actieve hardloper is of een rustige oudere viervoeter, ik pas mijn zorg en tempo volledig aan. Met geduld en liefde bied ik jouw hond een fijne tijd, zodat jij met een gerust hart weg kunt.

This is Ayman, you can call me Ash, i have enormous love for dogs and i wish the time become right soon to have my own, but untill that time i would be happy to share my love for dogs with yours, i have very spacious apartment with big terrace and i live next to two big parks, the pet store is next door. ooster park and sarphati is 5 min walk, amstel rever is across the corner. i would be very pleased to get to spend time and take care of your pet, we will play outdoors and indoors, we will also take some cute photos together! you might get jealous, just a heads up 😃 your pet will be surely in very safe hand with me. reviews ans pics in my profile will tell you more ;) see ya 🐾 🐶

Fluffy stayed at Ayman the entire day and had a very nice time. beautiful appartement and having a nice walk in the park. also good communication before and during the stay. Thanks Ayman, we will definitily be back some day! Leo
