DUTCH: Ik ben zeer verantwoordelijk, ben dol op honden, het uitlaten, spelen en met ze knuffelen. Ik pas mij gemakkelijk aan de regels waar je huisdier al aan gewend is. Ik pas het liefst op honden die max. een half uur per x uit moeten (al ben ik dol op af en toe een lange wandeling te maken). Het enige waar ik mee heb, is 'valse' honden, ofwel honden die agressief zijn aangelegd waar je erg streng tegen moet zijn. Ik laat zeker zien wie 'de leider' is, maar vind het fijn om onbezorgd de hond uit te kunnen laten. Ik ben in het algemeen een dierenliefhebber, dus voor katten of andere dieren mag je me ook zeker benaderen! Ik heb de meeste ervaring met honden, katten, konijnen en vogels. I prefer to take care of dogs that need to be out for a maximum of half an hour each time (although I love to take a long walk every now and then). The only thing I have a problem with is 'cheat' dogs, or dogs that are aggressive and you have to be very strict with them. I certainly show who 'the leader' is, but I like being able to walk the dog without any worries. I am an animal lover in general, so you can definitely contact me for cats or other animals! My journey started early, as the neighborhood’s trusted 8-year-old who would eagerly run over to walk dogs or babysit cats. I was a familiar face at local vet clinics, always asking to help. My first formal volunteer role was helping an organization care for strays, preparing them for their vet visits. A pivotal chapter began when I was 10, at a shelter within a veterinary university. Every day after school, my ritual was to walk my two proudly named furry friends, Guinness and Hennessy. I didn't just walk them; I played with them, fed them, cleaned their enclosures, and even began exploring my passion for training. As a teenager, I launched my own mini dog-walking business, and the response was overwhelming! I was responsibly caring for 7-10 dogs every single day. My clients ranged from clever Shiba Inus to gentle giant Saint Bernards. My duties were comprehensive: long, energetic walks, washing muddy paws, feeding, and providing loving babysitting for pets whose owners worked long hours. I became a true part of their families and still cherish the memories of watching those little puppies grow into magnificent dogs. Even at boarding school, I founded an Animal Volunteering Club to ensure my friends and I could continue visiting shelters. More recently, I lived on a horse farm in the US, caring for five farm dogs, which gave me a whole new perspective on strength and stamina! Meeting your pet’s needs with empathy and care

I have been a dog owner myself, as well as I have volunteered in an animal shelter for 2 years, so I am incredibly fond of dogs, cats and all other kinds of pets. As I am now a student who has moved away from home (so away from my family pets as well), I miss having animals around a lot. Additionally, since I’ve encountered all sorts pets in all sorts of states and traits, I take the time to introduce myself first, figure out the animal’s needs and only then move further with the care. I have 7 years of experience in taking care of dogs and cats, including the experience at the shelter. I have no preference for pets I sit, as well as I am rather flexible with my schedule - I can be available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am a loving, gentle and caring sitter, described as "the one that has a way with animals." I find walking and/or sitting them genuinely pleasurable, so I always try to make the visits as warm as possible. Nonetheless, I am aware of the responsibility such care entails and make sure to do everything in my power to avoid any kind of negligence. When petsitting/boarding, I send regular photo updates, don’t leave the animals alone (unless allowed), walk them 3x a day and let them wander freely but safely around the apartment. I walk them regularly to provide toilet breaks as needed, but in cases of little accidents inside the apartment, I make sure to clean it up and generally to keep the pets in safe and higienic conditions. In addition to the > 15 minute walks, pets receive plenty of play time to fulfil their physical activity needs. I remain in consistent communication with the owners and feed/walk/provide medication/etc as instructed by the owners. I also spoil the pets with snacks, if allowed:) Fresh water is always available, as well food is provided as required by the owners. I try to stick to petsitting one animal at a time due to the stress different pets may cause to each other, but if allowed by the owners, I am always happy to sit a few animals at once. In case of an emergency, I will bring the pets to the vet or act in any other required manner as indicated by the owners. When dog walking, I take at least 30 minutes, keep my copy of the key safely, always check if everything is secured before leaving, dress the pet in provided attire if needed, carry the pets up/down the stairs if needed as well. During house visits, I spend at least an hour with the pets, playing with them and making sure they’re fed, walked and happy. I am also happy to house sit if that is preferred by the owners. If agreed in accordance with my schedule, I can house sit for an indefinite time. When house sitting, I always double check if everything is locked/turned off before leaving and/or night time. According to my regular clients, their pets are always excited to come back to my place - hope that would be the case with your pets as well:)

Hoi! Mijn naam is Anne-Lore. Ik kom uit België, ben 33 jaar en woon sinds 3 jaar in Amsterdam. Ik ben een enorme dierenliefhebber en heb zelf 12 jaar een hondje gehad. Ook binnen mijn familie ben ik vaak degene die met veel plezier voor de dieren zorgt. Ik heb ervaring met verschillende dieren, van konijnen tot zelfs een varkentje op een boerderij. Ik vind het belangrijk dat baasjes met een gerust hart weg kunnen gaan. Daarom zorg ik met veel aandacht voor je kat: eten geven, de kattenbak verzorgen, spelen, gezelschap houden en vooral respecteren wat je kat nodig heeft op zijn of haar eigen tempo. Ik stuur ook dagelijks een update met foto’s zodat je weet hoe het gaat. Ik ben een empathisch en zorgzaam persoon en vind het fijn om tijd met dieren door te brengen. Ik kijk ernaar uit om jouw kat de liefde en aandacht te geven die hij of zij verdient!

Een paar dagen voordat Anne-Lore kwam oppassen, begon mijn kat ineens haar pillen te weigeren en wilde ze niet meer eten en drinken. Ik was erg bezorgd. Op de dag dat het oppassen zou starten ben ik daarom nog snel naar de dierenarts gegaan. Ik wilde haar niet zo achterlaten. Daar bleek dat ze ineens twee spuitjes per dag en andere medicatie nodig had. Best spannend om zo weg te gaan en ook best een verantwoordelijkheid (en rommelige start) voor een nieuwe oppas. Er kwam veel informatie op haar af, maar ze leek er rustig onder. Alles is super goed gegaan. Toen ik na vier dagen thuiskwam, was mijn kat zichtbaar opgeknapt: rustiger, blijer en duidelijk in betere doen. Ik was zo gelukkig om haar zo aan te treffen. Ik denk dat Anne-Lore haar de rust bood die ik zelf even niet kon bieden. Anne-Lore gaf meerdere keren per dag updates, wat mij enorm hielp om te ontspannen. Ze is zorgzaam en rustig. Precies wat mijn kat nodig heeft. Ik zou haar zonder twijfel aanbevelen en ook nog eens vragen om op te passen.

Honden zijn altijd een belangrijk onderdeel van mijn leven geweest. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en weet daardoor hoe fijn het is om ze liefde, aandacht en een veilige omgeving te geven. I love animals and care about the needs of pets.

When I lived in Turkey, I had two cats that I adopted from the street. My older one is a deaf Van Cat, a special Turkish breed that cannot be taken out of the country. Because of that, I couldn’t bring him to the Netherlands and didn’t want to separate him from his brother. I can take care of all kinds of cats.I used to live in a small village where we had dogs.

Ayşe was amazing! She was incredibly caring and took wonderful care of our kittens while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay—she sent us regular updates every time she visited, which gave us great peace of mind. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. ik heb zelf jaren lang een kat gehad en op allerlei huisdieren opgepast tijdens het oppassen van kinderen. Als ik in het park ben wordt ik het aller blijst van lieve honden die blij met je willen spelen. Vanwege een te klein appartement in Amsterdam, helaas geen plek voor een hond, daarom wil ik er graag op 1 passen. Ik vind het leuk als honden veel energie hebben en waar je lange wandelingen mee kan maken, ook pas ik veel op een tekkel van een vriendin van mij, daar maak ik korte wandelingen mee en lig ik veel mee op de bank.

Couldn't recommend more! Joske was amazing with Pedro, looking after him for the evening and allowing him to stay the night. We will definitely be using her again, I know Pedro looks forward to it!

I take routines and instructions seriously, whether it’s feeding, walks, medication or simply knowing the little things that make your pet feel comfortable. I’m also very happy to send photos and little updates while you’re away — I know I would want the same. I’m happy to care for both cats and dogs, whether that means home visits, walks, spending the day together or house sitting. For dogs, I’m happy to follow their usual walking and feeding routine and spend time playing and keeping them company. For cats, I can take care of feeding, water, litter, playtime and, of course, give them attention when they want it (and space when they don’t). My priority is quite simple: I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable, and for you to be able to leave without worrying.

Ekaterina was great with Mathi. From the moment she entered the door Mathilda treated her like they’ve been best friends, which is always a good sign. My dog is a bit anxious and she was perfectly able to feel safe and calm around Ekaterina. 100% recommend super attentive and curious about really wanting to make the best out of their time together.
