Happy Day Care with Dog George

Hi! I currently work from home with my little dog George and I would love to take care of another dog during the day or for an over night stay(s) to help out other dog parents when they may need a good home for their four-pawed friend. I used to have 2 larger dogs and am now living with little George in Amsterdam. George is a 9kg Kooiker Mix Rescue from Spain (5 years old & castrated) and very good and playful especially with small and midsize dogs. Some upfront check whether the dogs are getting along fine is needed, a casual walk would be ideal. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Miso had a lovely time with Jasmine and George. We had a very useful meet & greet beforehand, the communication throughout was clear and timely, and I got some cute photos. Jasmine is clearly experienced with dogs and I had zero hesitation in entrusting her with mine. An excellent experience.

I LOVE animals

This is Mingchu. I’m working and living in the centre of Delft as an expat from China. I’d love to take care of your pet dog for a short period of time if possible. I had pets when I was a kid and I’ve always loved animals in my life. I wouldn’t be the most professional pet sitter but I’d love to try. I live on a first floor 78 m2 apartment near Delft station and I have time in the early morning, evening or during the day to take care and work with the dog if working from home.

Minchu took the time to meet with my dog and me in advance of the stay and listen to my explanations of my dog's needs. I didn't know there was going to be another dog present when we came for the meet and greet. That went okay but it would have been good to know in advance. My dog stayed one night (24 hours) and everything seemed to go fine! Mingchu followed my instructions for food and medicine and sent me photos of Rhuby in the apartment. I would book with Mingchu again. Thanks!

Honden zijn mijn leven. 🐕🐕‍🦺🦮

Mijn naam is Katrin en ik ben 42 jaar oud. Ik woon samen met mijn man en om het weekend de kinderen (16 & 14) in Wapenveld. Inmiddels heb ik al ca 7 jaar ervaring als hondenoppas en ik haal hier nog steeds mijn voldoening uit. 🥰 Ervaring met honden heb ik al veel langer. Wij hebben een Podenco Andalous en een Jack Russel. Alfie (Podenco) is een rescue hond en heeft zijn eerste 1.5 jaar op straat geleefd. Hij is nu 8 jaar. Hierdoor heeft hij een hele goede en duidelijke hondentaal geleerd. Tot nu toe zijn wij nog geen hond tegen gekomen waar hij niet mee overweg kan ook al is de ander hond bang, hij weet hem/haar uit de schelp te halen. Hij vind het super leuk om met ander honden te wandelen en te spelen. DeeDee is een ondeugende 4 jaar oude Jack Russel die de hele dag wil spelen en knuffelen. of haar kunstjes wil laten zien. zij kan ook wel een dametje zijn maar zij vind alles en iedereen leuk. In het weekeind ga ik/gaan wij vaak met Alfie en DeeDee naar het bos of maak ik/maken wij lange wandelingen. Ik heb kennis van Podencos, Jack Russell's, Kangals, Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, heb vroeger een Megelse Herder als pleeghond gehad. Ook heb ik ervaringen met ander rassen, al heb ik die nooit zelf gehad. Voor meer vragen sta ik open. Groetjes, Katrin, Mark, kiddos en de woefjes 🐾 (verder ben ik bezig met mijn opleiding Hondentrimster, tweede deel. Indien het zou mogen en gewenst is zou ik ook het vacht kunnen verzorgen of de hond iets bijknippen tegen een kleine fooi. om te oefenen, de hond te helpen en de opleiding te financieren, zonder garantie)

Na een gezellige kennismaking heeft Frommel een heerlijke dag gehad bij Katrin. Katrin heeft veel kennis van/over honden en is super flexibel qua breng,- en haal tijden. Voor herhaling vatbaar :feet::smiley:

I had lots of shelter dogs and one ex laboratory beagle. All of them had their own backpacks and needed a warm and loving house so they could grew old in peace. One of my dogs had epilepsy so he needed medication, another one needed specialised food so I know how to deal with that. My last dog passed away a year ago and I miss having a dog badly so hence this profile. I have a very kind and loving character and I’m super patient when it comes to dealing with a dog that has some particularities. I work from home so I’m super flexible and can’t wait to have some nice long walks again.

Ilse was great and very friendly. Our dog was very comfortable around her. However we had to end terms with her 2 days before because there were lot of fire crackers in Amsterdam and our dog was very scared. Not a great place for dogs during new years. Otherwise Ilse is great:slight_smile:
