I feed my dog on a schedule and would have no problem caring for an animal that is used to a schedule, I have also cared for dogs who always have kibble in their bowl so they can eat when hungary and likewise have no problem with that.

Disney for puppies

We love dogs since we were little. We always had pets and were taught to not only give them love, but also take care of them, give attention and enjoy time shared. We make sure they get all the necessary attention, love, entertainment & care. We try to adapt to what they like. If it’s an active dog we don’t hesitate on take them to a park, play togheter, have a walk and dedicate the time they are used to so they feel comfortable. And if it’s a pup that enjoys resting and accompanying more, we love that too! We also enjoy to teach them when they’re puppies since we love seeing their evolution :)

Your Dog’s Best Friend

I understand sometimes it is hard to make travel plans or even go to the office if you have a furry friend waiting for you at home. We are living in Diemen with my boyfriend and our 3 year old australian shepherd dog Tommy. We are working from home most of the time, I wont accep’t dog boarding or daycare if we are not home the whole time. And never leave your dog home alone. We would be happy to support you and give the attention your dog deserves during the times you are apart from each other. You can be sure that your dog is safe with us. Tommy is very friendly with all dogs and people. He socialized very well with puppies when he was small and he is still a very social dog. However male dogs tend not to like him(unless it’s a puppy) and that’s why we always try to let them meet before we commit to anything. He is very playful and full of energy. There could be times where Tommy is away. But it cant be guaranteed. We see every situation as a training opportunity, and we try to improve ourselves to be better to take care of our own dog in the best way possible. The only reason we do this is only to help other dog owners like us, who needs a safe and warm home for their dog. Hope to help you as well.

Dog whisperer with lots of experience!

Please read all the info below before making your booking! I have been around and taken care of dogs my entire life. We had two dogs when I was a child I was trusted taking care of and walk during my lunch breaks at school from a very young age. My family travelled a lot when I was young and wherever we went I would find packs of street dogs to play with, which now when I’m a parent sounds insane (and quite dangerous) but it very much shaped how I see and relate to dogs and taught me how to communicate, read body language and understand pack dynamic. I have adopted and fostered many dogs throughout my life, and have been watching and training dogs for friends and family over the years many times. Also very interested in dog psychology and behaviour in general, and their inner workings is a genuine interest for me. Dog sitting is my full time job, I’m very good at it and take it seriously. I usually spend most of my days outside with the dogs I have, it’s great for exercise and socialising and we all enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I also enjoy to bring them along for outings or other activities since I love the company. My kids are at school during the day so I have lots of time and I really enjoy walking and being outside so it’s absolutely not a chore. Different dogs have different needs of course and I do my best to accommodate that. I love biking with dogs since you can sort of “play run” together and it’s a great way to get a lot of exercise for high energy dogs, and even if a dog is not used to running next to a bike, most get the hang of it fast and I am of course very careful to make sure there’s no accidents. My house is also full of toys, activity puzzles and games, it’s important they get mental simulation as well physical. My kids are good and calm with animals, and love dogs so they are delighted about weekend stays but of course they don’t walk them and I generally don’t leave my kids alone with the dogs I host. Our cat Styx, a Maine Coon male, is raised around dogs and makes friends with most of them given a bit of time, even dogs that otherwise goes nuts when they see a cat outside! We live in a house with a lift so larger or older dogs doesn’t have to climb down stairs, the flat itself has three floors so easy and spacious with the cat living upstairs and visiting dogs downstairs. Some dogs I have regularly of course get upstairs privileges when we’re all comfortable together and maybe aren’t covered in mud! The size of the flat does also mean I can easily keep dogs and cats separated so there’s never been an issue in all the years I’ve been doing this. The downstairs floor is also large enough to keep dogs separated if necessary, I have lots of fences and baby gates I can set up. The terrace is great for fresh air and playtime. We also live very close to many green areas suitable for off leash walking, biking and swimming. I have experience with and really enjoy large dogs and don’t mind being out entire days with wolf/working breeds if they need it. My philosophy is that a dog that is provided a lot of exercise, play, boundaries, structure and a calm and assertive pack leader will be a happy and balanced one! Please note! -Do provide food, toys, chew bones, treats and toilet bags for your dogs visit. If requested I can provide this but will ask to be refunded for any additional expenses. I have lots of bowls, towels and beds etc so no need to bring that. -If your dog needs a lot of special attention, is not fully house trained or have a very labour intensive schedule you need to inform me of this in advance so we can discuss. Also if your dog can’t be together with other dogs or off leash I need to know before we finalise the booking. -I can’t accept dogs with severe behavioural problems or that barks a lot. If there are undisclosed issues like aggression, barking or destructive/unmanageable behaviour I reserve the right to terminate the booking and request you to find another arrangements for the rest of the stay, or I will ask an extra fee so be aware of this. Please don’t downplay issues since that will only cause trouble for everyone involved later on. -I will accept bookings for cats if they are spayed/neutered and very good with other cats, dogs and kids. Message me to discuss.

Hallo baasjes! Mijn naam is Julia en ik stel mezelf graag even voor. Ik ben opgegroeid in een gezin waar altijd veel dieren aanwezig waren. Van jongs af aan heb ik met veel liefde en plezier voor honden en katten gezorgd. Zelf hebben we twee Jack Russells gehad: gezellige, energieke en trouwe honden. Daarnaast heb ik veel ervaring opgedaan met verschillende hondenrassen, zowel via familie en vrienden als door regelmatig op honden te passen. Denk hierbij aan onder andere Engelse en Franse Bulldogs, Shiba's, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Duitse Herders, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, teckels, poedels, diverse terriërs en verschillende kruisingen. Hierdoor heb ik ervaring met zowel kleine als grote honden, en met uiteenlopende karakters. Sinds april hebben wij zelf ook een pup in huis, geboren in januari. Zij is een kruising tussen een mopshond en een poedel en inmiddels een vrolijke, enthousiaste en zeer sociale jonge hond. Ze is een echte allemansvriend en vindt andere honden geweldig. Daarom vinden wij het belangrijk dat eventuele oppashonden eerst even kennismaken met haar, zodat we kunnen kijken of het een goede match is. Ik ben graag buiten en maak met plezier wandelingen. Wij wonen vlak bij een mooie wandelroute langs het water en op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden van meerdere losloopgebieden, waar honden heerlijk kunnen spelen en hun energie kwijt kunnen. Ik sta open voor opvang voor kortere periodes (tot maximaal één week), maar ook voor een vaste oppashond die bijvoorbeeld één keer per week langskomt wanneer jij aan het werk bent. Stuur gerust een berichtje als je denkt dat wij een goede match zijn voor jouw hond. Ik maak graag kennis met jullie!

Baxter really enjoyed his stay with Julia. She made him feel right at home, and he was clearly very comfortable — lounging on the couch like he owned the place! Julia was also very accommodating when I made a mistake with the dates, which I really appreciated.

DUTCH: Ik ben zeer verantwoordelijk, ben dol op honden, het uitlaten, spelen en met ze knuffelen. Ik pas mij gemakkelijk aan de regels waar je huisdier al aan gewend is. Ik pas het liefst op honden die max. een half uur per x uit moeten (al ben ik dol op af en toe een lange wandeling te maken). Het enige waar ik mee heb, is 'valse' honden, ofwel honden die agressief zijn aangelegd waar je erg streng tegen moet zijn. Ik laat zeker zien wie 'de leider' is, maar vind het fijn om onbezorgd de hond uit te kunnen laten. Ik ben in het algemeen een dierenliefhebber, dus voor katten of andere dieren mag je me ook zeker benaderen! Ik heb de meeste ervaring met honden, katten, konijnen en vogels. Locaties: Amsterdam west (hoge voorkeur), Amsterdam centrum & zuid, Amstelveen. Locaties inc. gebruik mogelijk van een auto: Haarlem, Overveen, Amsterdam noord, Amsterdam oost en zuidoost. Talen: Ik spreek Engels, Spaans en Nederlands vloeiend. Reviews: Ik heb nog niet eerder via petbnb aan housesitting gedaan maar kan je voorzien van meerdere positieve reviews die ik via andere wijze heb gevonden! --- ENGLISH: I am very responsible, love dogs, walking them, playing and cuddling them. I easily adapt to the rules that your pet is already used to. I prefer to take care of dogs that need to be out for a maximum of half an hour each time (although I love to take a long walk every now and then). The only thing I have a problem with is 'cheat' dogs, or dogs that are aggressive and you have to be very strict with them. I certainly show who 'the leader' is, but I like being able to walk the dog without any worries. I am an animal lover in general, so you can definitely contact me for cats or other animals! I enjoy taking care of dogs. For my 8th birthday my parents gave me the best present of my life—a puppy. Funnily enough, the puppy's name was Gift. De natuur in

Hi ik ben Douwe, 30, en ik woon in Amsterdam, vlak bij de Amstel, en ga graag naar buiten om te wandelen of hard te lopen. De Middelpolder het Amstelpark en het Amsterdamse bos zijn mijn favoriete plekken om de natuur in te gaan dichtbij Amsterdam met honden. Daarnaast ga ik graag naar het strand. Zelf heb ik op dit moment geen hond, maar ik geniet erg van hun gezelschap. Mijn huis is rustig en makkelijk toegankelijk, met één niet steile trap (1e verdieping). Ik ben flexibel beschikbaar en pas graag op honden die van beweging en buiten zijn houden. dus bijvoorbeeld langere wandelingen of een rondje mee hardlopen/ suppen en dergelijke.

Hi allemaal! I.v.m. internationale hondeneigenaren is de introductie in het Engels. I’m a 26-year-old student with lifelong experience in training and raising dogs. By taking behavioral dog training courses as well as teaching our late Swiss shepherd agility and tracking, I’ve grown to love shepherds and retrievers. However, I am a big fan of most other breeds too! While I live in an apartment, it is located right next to the Amstel - with plenty outdoor space and a short metro ride from Gaasperplas. I’m well-versed in outdoor and indoor activities, and like to keep dogs occupied and happy. Open for discussion is the question whether your dog likes to do shared walks - my parents live nearby with our Collie-Husky mix (as seen in my fourth photo). (Note: when I’m unavailable, my mother (an experienced dog trainer) likes to offer herself up as a back-up. I can ask for her availability too, if your dog doesn’t mind staying with her and the family dog.) Chili heeft een super fijne dag gehad bij Kim :hugging:! Lekker veel gespeeld en veel ruimte gekregen om haar energie kwijt te raken! Zelfs nog wat trainingen tussendoor. Overall, blije pup! En wij waren blij met alle tussentijdse updates/filmpjes! Ze kijkt er naar uit om volgend weekend een nachtje te logeren en weer met Marlowe te spelen.

Loving and caring for our little friends!
