Hi!
We're a family of five living in Bennekom, right next to the forest and only a short bike ride from Wageningen. Our home is a beautiful architectural bungalow with a large private garden surrounded by trees — a wonderful place to spend the summer.
Normally, during the summer holidays, we rent out our home or arrange a home exchange. This year, however, we're looking for something a little different.
We're hoping to find a responsible and caring person (perhaps a student from Wageningen, although everyone is welcome to apply) who would enjoy spending 23 days in a comfortable home surrounded by nature, while taking care of our sweet dog and cat.
For these 23 days, our house can truly be your home. You'll have full use of everything: the garden, BBQ, outdoor furniture, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, laundry supplies, towels, comfortable bedrooms, and all the other amenities you might need. We want you to feel completely at home and enjoy the space as much as we do.
Our pets are friendly and affectionate. We have an 8-month-old puppy who still enjoys lots of attention and company, so we prefer that the pets are not left alone for more than about 4 hours at a time. The dog can happily join you on walks, outings, or adventures if you'd like. We also have a lovely cat who enjoys the comfort of home and some daily attention.
We're looking for someone who will genuinely enjoy spending time with our animals and who will treat our home with care and respect. Guests are welcome in consultation with us, as long as our home and pets remain the priority.
Rather than a standard paid pet-sitting arrangement, we're looking for a genuine exchange: a lovely summer stay in our home in return for caring for our dog, cat and house. A modest compensation can be discussed if necessary.
We hope to find someone who would love to spend part of their summer surrounded by nature, enjoying a beautiful home, while giving our pets the care and companionship they need.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, we'd love to hear from you!
