I’ve been a dog owner since I was a child and have always been surrounded by pets, so taking care of animals comes naturally to me. When I’m pet sitting, I dedicate myself to spending as much time as possible with the pet, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I live by myself in a one-bedroom apartment in the center/east of Amsterdam, right next to a beautiful city park. I only pet sit one pet at a time to give them all the attention they deserve. Pets will sleep in their own beds in the living room, and I make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I work from home most days, so I’m with your pet all day, offering companionship and supervision. Walkies are a big part of the routine—2-3 walks daily. I can also administer medication, following detailed instructions from the pet’s owner. Your pet will feel right at home here!

Energieke hondenliefhebber zoekt leuke oppashond

Ik ben mijn hele leven lang omringd met huisdieren thuis, waaronder twee hele lieve hondjes: Max en Lodewijk. Yorkshire terriër hondje Max hebben we nog een mooi laatste jaren kunnen geven toen we hem adopteerden, maar ook geleerd om met getraumatiseerde/bange honden om te gaan. Daarna kregen we puppy Lodewijk, een mix van Maltezer en Shih tzu, die ik heb mogen opvoeden en hondentrainingen mee heb gedaan. Na tien jaar is Lodie er niet meer en nu mis het enorm om soms voor een hond te zorgen, uit te laten, mee te spelen in Amsterdam. Ik ben dol op bijna elke soort hond, maar als het mogelijk is om op te passen op een teckel zou dat geweldig zijn. Ik denk graag mee in hoe de veiligheid van de hond verbeterd kan worden zodat er vertrouwen is van beide kanten zowel thuis als tijdens het uitlaten. Een goede voorbereiding is het halve werk ;) Momenteel ben ik veel beschikbaar en lijkt het me heel leuk om die tijd te besteden aan oppassen op honden. Dus zoek je een energiek, lief en betrouwbare oppas die weet hoe ze met honden omgaat en grenzen kan stellen, neem dan vooral contact op met mij!

Elaine is heel betrouwbaar, vriendelijk en Monty heeft heerlijke lange wandelingen met haar gehad. Een aanrader!

Rennen, wandelen, spelen om daarna lekker relaxen. Niks leuker dan een contente viervoeter! Ik beleef een fantastische connectie met dieren en heb dan zelf ook altijd dieren gehad. (Honden, katten, konijnen, geiten, vissen, cavia's en hamsters). Het zijn de grootste schatten op aarde. Ook heb ik een aantal keer nestjes met kittens en pups gehad en begrijp ik hierdoor goed hoe energiek jonge wezentjes kunnen zijn. Ik weet honden en katten een fijn, veilig en vertrouwd gevoel te geven. Omdat ik zelf twee katten thuis heb ontvang ik geen dieren thuis en kom ik graag bij jou thuis op jouw viervoeter passen. Ik ga er graag met ze op uit voor een wandeling en naar bos of strand. Wat ook één van mijn hobbies is. Ook bied ik de mogelijkheid uw viervoeter gezelschap te houden in weekenden en vakanties aan huis. Laat gauw van je horen om kennis te maken!

Great experience! She was quick to reply, everything went smoothly, and she took great care of my girlfriend’s older cat. She even left a small gift, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend her!

Dierenvrienden op Java-eiland

Wij zijn Guusje & Sietse, een avontuurlijk en sportief stel en we houden ervan om veel buiten te zijn. Omdat we zelf enkel een (ruim) balkon hebben, vinden we ons huis niet geschikt voor het hebben van een permanent huisdier maar we zouden het leuk vinden om mensen in de buurt te helpen met het opvangen van hun huisdieren wanneer nodig! We houden van lange wandelingen door Flevopark of vliegerbos, dagjes uitwaaien aan het strand (als het kan) en vinden het belangrijk dat een kat/hond de aandacht krijgt die ze nodig hebben. We zijn allebei opgegroeid met katten en honden, dus we hebben veel ervaring. Het liefst passen we op middelgrote honden die makkelijk in de omgang zijn en het fijn vinden om bij mensen in de buurt te zijn. Door haar werk als freelancer werkt Guusje veel vanuit huis. Daarom is ze flexibel en kan ze overdag tijd maken voor langere wandelingen!

We hadden een gezellige kennismaking bij Guusje en Sietse, dat gaf al veel vertrouwen vooraf. Curly heeft 2 nachtjes bij ze gelogeerd, we kregen een paar leuke foto's waarop hij er erg relaxt en tevreden uitzag. Fijn oppas-adresje, wij doen zeker weer een nieuwe aanvraag!

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I now also regularly pet sit through Petbnb and have looked after dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, both for daycare and overnight stays. I love getting to know each dog's individual routine and personality and making their stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. I’m always happy to send photos and little updates so you can see what your pet has been up to. 🐾 I also grew up around much larger dogs, as my grandmother was a Rottweiler breeder for around 10 years. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

Betrouwbare en gezellige dierenvriend

Ik ben een enthousiaste dierenliefhebber die het gezellig vindt omringd te zijn met dieren. Bovendien houd van de natuur, wandelen en bewegen en doe ik dit het liefst samen met een of meerdere hondjes. Katten vind ik ook mega gezellig en leuk om mee te knuffelen of spelen (als ze me goedkeuren ;)). Ik heb oppaservaring met verschillende katten: van oude katten tot piepkleine kittens en van binnen- tot buitenkatten. Zelf heb ik altijd katten gehad, nu nog eentje, een hele gezellige oude binnenkat die lekker z'n eigen gang gaat. Ook pas ik geregeld op de honden van vrienden of van mijn ouders.
