Hello! Since birth I have been around dogs, starting with a Maltese terrier for 8 years. After that, we had a Bernese mountain dog for 10 years. Only two years ago we added a Hungarian vizsla to the family, all very different breeds of dogs yet all equally loved and cared for. We are two 24-year-old students studying from home, with plenty of free time to take care of your dog and shower it with all the love and affection it needs. [ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. We have been living together in Amsterdam since 2023, after Braden (British/South African) moved to the Netherlands. We've both always had different types of dogs in our lives and miss it greatly now that we don't (yet) have one of our own. We live just 5 minutes away from both Rembrandtpark and Erasmuspark (which even has a special area for dogs!), making it the perfect environment for outings. We both work mostly from home and are very flexible, meaning we can give a lot of attention to any dogs we’re looking after or easily drop by for a walk. We don’t have a preference for specific days or number of days, as long as we have enough time to plan accordingly. A few years ago, Ashley raised a litter with her own Shih Tzu and Chihuahua, so she has experience with both raising very young puppies and caring for senior dogs. Animals have always been part of who I am. I wanted to be a vet from the time I was little, and my life has been full of dogs and cats ever since. It started when I was 8. I was the kid in the neighborhood who'd happily walk your dog or look after your cat, and I was always hanging around the local vet clinics asking if I could help. My first volunteer job was with an organization that cared for stray animals, where I helped get them ready for their vet visits. At 10, I started volunteering at a shelter attached to a veterinary university. Every day after school, I walked my two favorites, Guinness and Hennessy. I also played with them, fed them, cleaned their enclosures, and started learning about training. As a teenager, I started my own dog-walking business, and it took off. I looked after 7 to 10 dogs every day, from clever Shiba Inus to gentle Saint Bernards. I did long walks, washed muddy paws, handled feeding, and kept pets company when their owners worked long hours. I felt like part of each family, and I still love remembering the puppies I watched grow into big, beautiful dogs. At boarding school, I started an Animal Volunteering Club so my friends and I could keep visiting shelters. More recently, I lived on a horse farm in the US and cared for five farm dogs, which taught me a lot about their strength and stamina. I've also had a dog of my own, so I know both the love and the responsibility that come with it. My Availability I'm a student at Utrecht University, so my schedule changes by semester, but I'm flexible and happy to work around you. I'm an early riser and can do walks from 6:00 AM. Most weekdays I'm free after 5:00 PM, and I can often fit in afternoon visits if we arrange it ahead of time.

Dierenvilla op de Herengracht 🐾

Vanaf jongs af aan altijd al in vriendenboekjes geschreven dat ik ‘iets met dieren’ wilde doen later. Ook elke verjaardag en Sinterklaas gesmeekt om een hond. Nu al 14 jaar een hond en sinds 7 jaar een tweede, beide bij mijn ouders. Ik mis ze wel als ik in mijn studentenstad ben en daarom bij PetBnB gekomen! Kan ook erg goed met katten, in mijn studentenhuis in Utrecht altijd een kat gehad. Ik vind het leuk om om dieren heen te zijn en krijg er altijd energie van. Zelf ben ik sportief, zorgzaam en lief. Met dieren houd ik van knuffelen, lange wandelingen buiten, spelen en lekker samen op de bank liggen. Bij mij zou je huisdier veilig zijn, hopelijk op zijn/haar gemak en veel aandacht krijgen aangepast op wat hij/zij nodig heeft! Liefs, Fee

easy going dog sitting in Amsterdam west

My boyfriend Tim and I love dogs. I grew up in a vet family with loads of pets and all sorts of dogs around. Since our Cypriot dog passed away last year we have been dog sitting various neighborhood furry friends. We work from home most of the time, which gives us flexibility to do frequent walks and little adventures. We live right next to Erasmus and Rembrandt park. If time permits and if your dog is up for it, we love going to the forest or the beach. The appartment isn’t huge but well catered for a dog, and we love playing and training with dogs as well. The house is only accessible by stairs.

Tesse and Tim alternated the walks with - and care for - Felan. He loved them equally. On the pictures sent by Tesse an Tim is clearly visible that Felan had a great time when they sat him. Communication went smoothly, all in all I can only hope that we can prolongue this petsitting arrangement in the future.

Happy And Lovely Days For Your Pet.

I moved to Haarlem with my boyfriend six years ago because he came to work here, (we are both Brazilians). I was studying when we decided to move so starting a new life in another country was a big challenge! I fell in love with Haarlem as soon as I arrived, but I had no idea what to work with so I started to take care of pets (as I love them) and was the best thing I did for sure.
