Passion for animals

I grew up with two beautiful Hungarian vizslas and have been a dog dog lover from childhood. I have experience with "difficult" dogs as well as we had several rescue dogs in my family (reactivity). I am also lucky to have had wonderful experiences with all my four legged clients durint my years as a pet sitter. Therefore, I would consider myself as an experienced dog owner and caretaker, my motto is that there is no "bad dog" - all they need is love, love, love some more love, attention and a piece of food at the table! We couldn't be more grateful to Ann-Sofie for how she and Daniel took care of Mul for 12 days. They did so well that we even worried that Mul wouldn't want to come home! Ann-Sofie is highly professional. Since our first meeting, she has asked dozens of questions to understand Mul's needs. We received photos and messages every day to find out how Mul was doing. They couldn't have gotten along better and we feel lucky Mul is in the best of hands the next time we travel :)

Grew Up with Dogs, Happy to Care for Yours

I’m 25 and grew up with dogs my whole life. In my photo album, you’ll spot a little version of me with Bella, my first dog. She was a rescue, sweet, nervous, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. Not much of a fetch player though. Losing her was my first real heartbreak. Later came Otto, the fluffy white guy in the other photos. He’s my soulmate in dog form. We did everything together. Cooking, talking, lounging around. He would follow me from room to room like a shadow with a tail. Since moving abroad, I miss him more than anything. Right now I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own, but I really miss the company. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs here and there and thought, why not do it more often. I live with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs and works hybrid, mostly from home. Together, we share the care of any dogs I dog sit, making sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. If one of us is away, the other is always there, so the dog is never left alone, and if they are, it is only for a very short time. His picture can be seen in the library with the other photos. We’d love to spend time with your dog, spoil them a little, and make them feel at home while you’re away.

Paula was available to dogsit Enzo in very short notice, and accomodated him amazingly. Not only was it very easy to communicate beforehand, on the day itself I received pictures and regular updates, he had nice long walks and loads of cuddles. When he came home, he was super happy and nice and tired of such a lovely day. Enzo will definitely be coming back, if they"ll have them. Thank you so much for the great care.

Lieve, geduldige en ervaren dierenoppas

Ik pas al heel lang op katten in Zaandam; de laatsten van mijn oppaskatten zijn helaas vorig jaar overleden en ik merk toch dat ik het mis . Ik heb zelf tot twee jaar terug altijd één of meerdere katten gehad maar dat kan helaas niet meer. Ik werk sinds vorig jaar niet meer dus zou overdag op kunnen passen . Aangezien ik regelmatig iets langer blijf om even extra te kroelen kan ik de planten en de post natuurlijk ook gelijk doen mocht je dit willen. Wij zijn Luis en Lisa en allebei gek op huisdieren. Luis is opgegroeid met katten en zelf altijd katten gehad en Lisa is opgegroeid met honden. Honden en katten maken ons blij, laat staan tijd met ze doorbrengen. We zijn gek op alle soorten honden, groot en klein. Lisa is met een golden opgegroeid. Luis is degene die helemaal gek is op katten en mega goed met ze kan opschieten. Lisa heeft een lange tijd opgepast bij een gezin met een beagle. Wandelen, eten geven, spelen en ook als zij op vakantie waren bleef zij bij de hond. We zijn er nog niet over uit welk huisdier we willen dus op deze manier is het perfect om wel tijd met ze door te brengen. Lisa werkt als stewardess dus niet altijd in Nederland, maar Luis werkt vanuit huis. Wij kunnen niet wachten om op u hond of kat te mogen passen.

Na 14 jaar een trouwe Labrador retriever aan mijn zijde te hebben gehad, weet ik hoe bijzonder de band met deze honden kan zijn.
