Als echte dierenliefhebber vind ik het geweldig om op jouw hond of kat te passen! Zelf zou ik graag een hond willen, maar door mijn drukke schema is dat helaas niet mogelijk. Daarom vind ik het fijn om via Petbnb anderen te helpen met de zorg voor hun huisdieren. Tijdens mijn jeugd had ik mijn eigen hond en meerdere katten, waardoor ik weet hoe belangrijk goede zorg is en hoeveel je van je huisdier houdt. Hello! 🐱 My name is Caroline and I am a long time cat lover. Since I was young, I've grown up with cats and have always appreciated the calmness and/or playfulness of being around them. Now that I'm living on my own, I miss the presence of a pet in the house. I recently have more free time making me more flexible to cat-sit. I have experience cat-sitting for my brother, neighbors, friends and friends of friends. I know how to handle young kittens as well as elderly cats, energetic and slightly more aggressive cats as well as calm, slower ones. I can brush/groom fur, clip nails, clean the litter box, administer oral medications and feed with wet or dry food. I understand that if the cat only gets one visit per day it should count! While visiting your home, I don't mind doing other small tasks such as watering plants if desired. I go everywhere by bike so transport is no problem within Rotterdam.

Ik ben een rustige dame van 31 jaar. Ik ben gek op dieren (katten, honden, en nog veel meer). Ik werk freelance aan theaterproducties en ben daarnaast fotograaf en schrijver. Ik heb flexibele werktijden en vaak aan een stopcontact en internetverbinding genoeg. Ik werk graag op verschillende plekken en natuurlijk het liefst met een kat op schoot of een hond in de buurt. Oppassen met overnachtingen is voor mij dan ook vaak geen enkel probleem. Ik heb groene vingers en vertroetel eventuele kamer- of buitenplanten net zo veel als huisdieren. Ook zonder overnachting vind ik het natuurlijk leuk om te komen oppassen. Afhankelijk van de wens, kan ik even snel langs komen om te spelen, maar ik maak ook graag tijd vrij om langer te verblijven om katten wat sociale aandacht te geven in jouw afwezigheid. En met honden maak ik graag lange wandelingen, weer of geen weer. Ik mag zelf helaas geen huisdieren hebben in het huis waar ik nu woon, daarom is oppasservice vanuit mijn eigen huis niet mogelijk. Sinds vorig jaar pas ik regelmatig op dieren via online verzoeken zoals op websites als Petbnb, voor die tijd paste ik al jarenlang op de katten en honden (en andere dieren) van vrienden en familie. Zij wonen allemaal wat verder weg, dus meestal verblijf ik dan ook in hun huis en zorg ik behalve voor de huisdieren ook voor andere klusjes; denk aan grasmaaien, (moes)tuin bijhouden, planten water geven, post sorteren etc. Maar het allerbelangrijkste is natuurlijk de zorg voor de huisdieren. Ik ben georganiseerd en sterk in gedetailleerde instructies volgen. Jouw dier zal geen verschil in ritme en routine merken.

Wat waren we blij dat Christel op Freddie en ons huis kon passen. In een gesprek vooraf hadden we een goede klik met elkaar. Dankzij regelmatig contact over het wel en wee van onze kat, hebben we echt kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. Hopelijk mogen we nog eens een beroep op haar doen. Gert en Cobie

Hi pet parents, lovely to meet you! I'm Nina, 28 years old, and I grew up here in The Hague. About me I grew up with two dogs and three cats, and I've always loved taking care of them. For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. Since I've moved, they still bring their dogs to me when they go away for a longer holiday, but of course much less frequent now. I'm working as a communication consultant for the government and often work from home. Jasper (the boyfriend) also has an office job, but he works at the actual office much more often. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. Lieve mensen, Ik ben een ervaren, geduldige en enthousiaste oppas met een groot hart voor dieren. Alle honden zijn welkom, maar we maken altijd eerst even kennis om te zien of het klikt. Van jongs af aan heb ik dieren om me heen gehad, daarnaast vang ik regelmatig honden op via asielen en stichtingen – soms voor een paar dagen, soms voor langere tijd – totdat ze een nieuw baasje vinden. Ook heb ik twee jaar vrijwilligerswerk gedaan in Azië en Spanje, waar ik (soms angstige of agressieve) straathonden met liefde, geduld en heropvoeding weer vertrouwen in mensen heb mogen geven. 🐾 Belangrijk om te weten: - Mijn eigen hond Iggy (11 jaar, 6,5 kilo, kleintje dus) is vriendelijk en relaxed, zolang andere honden niet te opdringerig zijn. Ik neem daarom geen pups meer aan en met pubers of drukke honden doen we altijd eerst een proef. - Ik woon op de eerste verdieping: jouw hond moet dus trap kunnen lopen of goed tilbaar zijn. marianne is een van de weinige mensen bij wie barry zich op zijn gemak voelt. mede door hondje iggy voelt hij zich thuis en veilig. hij kan ontspannen en lekker rollen en luieren op een dekentje. dat is heel fijn om te merken, want een betere graadmeter voor zijn welzijn is er niet. marianne is de beste!

Hallo! Mijn naam is Myrthe en ik woon alleen in Den Haag. Ik ben een dieren liefhebber die graag uw lieve viervoeter over de vloer heeft. Zelf heb ik sinds kleins af aan een ontzettend lieve kat gehad, helaas is zij laatst overleden en lijkt het mij heel leuk om weer een huisdier voor een kortere periode in huis te hebben! Dichtbij mijn huis zijn 2 verschillende bossen & het strand van Kijkduin en is dus daarom perfect voor een lange wandeling!

I am a Venezuelan, 29 years old. I recently moved to a new apartment in The Hague, together with my boyfriend, Rupert (33 years old), and we are so excited because we are allowed pets at home for the first time since we moved from our home country! I grew up with dogs as part of my family and that's the kind of family I wish to have someday in the future. Given my current lifestyle (busy with my work, going frequently to the office), I'd like to wait a bit longer until I have enough time to dedicate to them. However, I miss spending time with dogs so much, that I've decided to open an account at petbnb, and give and receive love from dogs as much as possible for the time being. I learned how to take care of dogs when I was a little girl. Our family dog, Bicho, stayed with us until I was 12 years old. After that, I was the go-to person to babysit the two dogs of my grandma and thereafter, the puppy of my aunt (all of them schnauzers). And not so long ago, I volunteered at the 'Animal Rescue' organization of Madrid (I studied my bachelor over there), where I'd take care of rescued dogs, take them for walks, and incentivize people to adopt them. My boyfriend also has vast experience with dogs. He was lucky to raise a Weimaraner and have him as his companion for over 10 years, and he currently shares caring responsibilities of his sister's Poodle - they live in Hamburg and we babysit every now and then. When it comes to my availability, I am always available during weekends -24 hours a day. However, if the booking is done some days in advance, arranging having a dog during the week is also possible, as I have the flexibility of working from home, which adds some extra availability for weekdays too. I am looking forward to meeting your dogs and loving them forever.

Lieve, creatieve en enthousiaste oppas!

Hoi! Vroeger toen ik op de basisschool zat liet ik alle honden uit de wijk uit, ik was altijd al dol op honden! Maar mijn moeder wilde geen hond. Wel had ik thuis altijd knaagdieren. Wanneer ik op mijn 19e het huis uit ging wist ik het meteen. Ik wil een hond! Ik ben dol op alle rassen maar wat mij toen toch het meeste aansprak waren de zogenoemde powerbreeds. Zo kocht ik mijn eerste Amerikaanse Stafford teefje. Geweldig lief dier, grote mond maar een klein hartje. Daarop volgde nog 2 honden. Nog een Amerikaanse Stafford en een Amerikaanse Pitbull Terrier. Ik heb dus jaren lang met 3 honden geleefd. Totaal 14 jaar lang honden in huis gehad. En het waren zeker niet de makkelijkste. Konden alle 3 niet met vreemde honden omgaan. Wat voor mij geen probleem was, ik vermeed losloopgebieden en een enkele niet luisterende losloper in de wijk wimpelde ik af. Al moet je daar behoorlijk sterk voor in je schoenen staan. Ik ben een ontzettend verantwoordelijke hondenbezitter geweest. Dat is nou eenmaal een must als je met sterke rassen leeft. Helaas heb ik 2 maanden geleden mijn laatste reu in moeten laten slapen. Nu na 14 jaar honden gehad te hebben is het huis zo stil! Ik mis het verschrikkelijk maar weer een eigen hond nemen is me nog te snel. Ik ben nu vooral beschikbaar in het weekend, door de weeks in overleg wellicht mogelijk. Heel belangrijk; ik heb een zoontje van 2,5 jaar oud. Ook hem leer ik om verantwoord met dieren om te gaan Hij mag nog niet achter een vogel aan rennen op straat haha. Ik verheug me ontzettend om weer af en toe lekker bezig te zijn met een hond(je). Lekker wandelen, wat trainen op een leuke positieve manier of een denkspelletje, ik sta overal voor open. En ook zeker voor alle rassen van groot tot klein!

Het was weer super. Silky relaxed en goed verzorgd.

Quiet cat companion

I moved to NL from the UK in 2013. I am pretty introverted, and therefore quiet and calm. I work as an in-house accountant for a large company, mostly from home. I grew up with cats. I've had cats my entire life. I love cats. By profession, I'm an accountant but I much prefer the company of felines. I have my own little tuxedo kitty (or rather, she has me!) and I love to cuddle and play with her. I just adore meeting new cats, and always stop to say hello if I see one on the street! I generally work from home so it's possible to have some flexibility. My preference is to visit your cat(s) between 8am and 10am, and/or between 4pm and 6pm. This can always be discussed before a booking though! Overnights are possible, but not for extended periods. I have my own cat (Leia), and she'd miss me if I were away for long. If I spend the night with your cats, I will go back during the day to spend time with mine. If you need care for more than a couple days, I prefer to alternate between an overnight stay, and one or two visits during the day. That way, Leia won't be alone overnight for extended periods of time.

Hi :) Me and my girlfriend Maja are expats living in Rotterdam for 2+ years, and we recently moved to a pet friendly home! We've always loved pets, I've myself had dogs back in Portugal (my home country) since I was 10 years old. I currently have 3 and I miss them every day.. Wij zijn altijd thuis voor uw hond

Hallo, Graag stellen wij ons even in het kort aan u voor. Ik ben Angelique en woon samen met mijn man Michael en onze zoontjes Finn van 6 jaar en Noah geboren in februari in Delft. Wij hebben zelf 2 schatten van honden, een Labrador genaamd Dimple van inmiddels 9 jaar die alles leuk en iedereen leuk vind en Nova een mopshond van 4 jaar, ook zij is gek op mensen en andere honden. Er is altijd iemand thuis, mijn man heeft zijn kantoor aan huis en ik ben zelf huisvrouw. Uw hond zal hierdoor nooit langer dan een half uurtje alleen thuis zijn. We hebben aan de overkant van onze woning een groot park waar wij met de honden heerlijk kunnen wandelen. Uw hond mag ook voor een langere periode bij ons verblijven. Onze honden slapen lekker in een groot honden bed met een kinder matras en delen deze graag.
