Samen met mijn partner passen we graag op honden. We hebben zelf geen hond op het moment maar vroeger wel een gehad. Nu missen we een hond erg en vinden we het heel gezellig om op te passen. We wandelen veel en wonen naast het Erasmuspark en Westerpark, dus genoeg gelegenheden om lekker uit te rennen met de hond. Daarnaast hebben we een auto en gaan we graag naar het strand of de bossen. Ik heb in het verleden erg veel opgepast op een Teckel , Franse bulldog en een Labrador . Tegenwoordig pas ik regelmatig op mijn Koosje , de Yorkshire terriër van een goede vriendin van mij . Ik ben echt gek op honden en heb heel veel zin om een oppas via petbnb te worden ! Lief, enthousiast en gek op honden.

Heerlijk buiten wandelen en lekker kroelen en spelen binnen. Ik vind alle honden geweldig en heb zelf een hele lieve Engelse Cocker Spaniel (vrouwtje). Ik werk 40 uur in de week maar ook veel thuis dus ik ben heel flexibel. Ook in het weekend flexibel. Hou erg van wandelen en buiten zijn. Maar ook binnen kan ik de hond goed vermaken of hem/haar lekker laten uitrusten. Ik ben een lief, verantwoordelijk en zorgzaam baasje en altijd heel erg enthousiast. Ik zal dikke vrienden worden met de hond. Via Petbnb al veel ervaring ondertussen. En natuurlijk ervaring door mijn eigen hondje.

In Houston, I was known by my friends as the Cat Whisperer. Now I guess I will become I The Cat Whisperer of Amsterdam! I am a certified professional dog trainer. I have experience with challenging dogs and can help with whatever your dog's challenge, be it separation anxiety, barking, lunging at joggers or other behaviors. Even my own lab-chow mix, Dante, was aggressive around small dogs (she saw them as prey) and had separation anxiety. She was able to respond to voice commands and learned how to heel. We helped ease her anxiety as well. Each dog is unique, and it is important to know how each dog will best respond to training based on their sensitivities. I am happy to consult with you about your dog's issues. My training philosophy is based on César Millán's (The Dog Whisperer's) approach to training, as well as my work with trainers for dog service animals. My current male cat, Chaos, is 15 years old. The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!

I was very happy with the care Erik provided for our cat, Puck. When he first came to meet Puck, Erik brought catnip, which Puck clearly enjoyed, and spent a full hour playing with him. Puck was active and engaged the whole time, showing how comfortable and happy he was. The sitter also earned Puck’s trust by letting him curl up on their lap to purr, which speaks to the gentle and caring attention he gave. It was reassuring to know Puck was not only looked after but truly enjoyed his visits.

I absolutely adore dogs and cats, and I really enjoy spending as much time with them as possible.
