Hoi! Ik ben Roos, 33 jaar en woon in Amsterdam Oud West. Zelf ben ik altijd opgegroeid met honden in de familie en het liefst zou ik graag zelf een hond willen, maar gezien ik op dit moment onregelmatige uren werk als verpleegkundige is dat nu niet passend in mijn leven. Wel heb ik alle tijd om lekker te gaan wandelen of op te passen en vind ik het leuk om via dit platform een leuke match te vinden. Ik woon in een ruim appartement, zonder andere huisdieren, een tuin heb ik helaas niet, wel verschillende parken in de buurt op loopafstand.

Wies heeft een hele leuke dag bij Roos gehad. Roos heeft Wies meegenomen naar het strand waar ze lekker gewandeld hebben. Wies is erg tevreden en ik zou haar zeker vaker brengen.

Hondenoppas die graag wandelt in het park!

Op zoek naar een lieve en actieve hondenoppas in Amsterdam? Ik pas graag af en toe op honden en geniet van lange wandelingen in de parken van Amsterdam, zoals het Vondelpark, Rembrandtpark of Beatrixpark. Maar knuffelen op de bank vind ik net zo gezellig! Mijn ouders hebben een Australian Labradoodle die regelmatig bij mij logeert en ik heb eerder ook op de teckel van een vriendin gepast. Me and my husband are both dog lovers and grew up with dogs around. We want a dog of our own, but currently we live in a rental apartment and we both work a lot. We think that right now our lives are to volatile to raise a pup, but we never let the chance of dogsitting slip away when our friends need some help 🌸 I got to know very different dogs in my life and I understand that they might need patience and different approaches. I knew dogs that suffer from anxiety, some are just goofballs that need a lot of entertainment and some of them can be really uptight and defensive. But there is nothing more rewarding than earning a dogs trust. For example, here in Amsterdam I am regularly taking care of my friends foster dog. She’s been through a lot of hardships in life, but after a while I was finally able to earn her trust and my friend can travel on the weekends 🥰 I see dogsitting as a wonderful opportunity for me to share the love for dogs and support dog owners, while currently our life situation doesn’t allow us to adopt one ourselves.

Daria was great for Pablo. Required a lot of patience as my little friend can be very stubborn. In the end he looked very happy!

Bas was very attentive and caring with Crepa, he made the right questions, and seemed to be very familiar with doggos. He sent me updates with photos which I appreciate, and he lives right in the park which is perfect for dogs. He is also a very friendly and approachable person which I find important as you need to feel the ease of communication with the person taking care of your furry family member.
