Mijn naam is Jiska en zolang ik mij kan herinneren is mijn liefde en passie voor dieren heel groot! Vanaf kleins af aan hadden wij al katten bij mijn ouders thuis, waar nu nog steeds een rode rakker genaamd Bowie rondloopt. De liefde voor andere dieren was er altijd ook al, en is ook de grootste reden waarom ik voor al m’n vrienden en vriendinnen de oppas voor hun huisdieren ben. De dieren waar ik vooral op pas zijn dan ook katten en honden. De liefde voor honden werd nóg groter toen mijn schoonouders een labradoodle kregen. Toen kwam ik er achter wat voor onvoorwaardelijke liefde zo’n beestje je kan geven. En daarnaast ook nog eens gezelligheid & vrolijkheid. Met alle liefde passen wij vaak genoeg op deze lieve doodle genaamd Otis. Helaas wonen wij in een appartement en zijn wij nog onregelmatig van huis waardoor wij (nog) geen dieren kunnen hebben. Ik mis dus een beetje dierenliefde en pas ik graag op die van jou! En ik wandel graag… Wat is er leuker om dat met een harig maatje te doen?

I completed my master’s degree at an art university in the Netherlands and now work as a designer and freelancer. My work gives me a relatively flexible schedule, so I can spend plenty of time at home and give pets the attention and company they need. Ik ben een enthousiaste dierenliefhebber die het gezellig vindt omringd te zijn met dieren. Bovendien houd van de natuur, wandelen en bewegen en doe ik dit het liefst samen met een of meerdere hondjes. Katten vind ik ook mega gezellig en leuk om mee te knuffelen of spelen (als ze me goedkeuren ;)). Ik heb oppaservaring met verschillende katten: van oude katten tot piepkleine kittens en van binnen- tot buitenkatten. I had lots of shelter dogs and one ex laboratory beagle. All of them had their own backpacks and needed a warm and loving house so they could grew old in peace. One of my dogs had epilepsy so he needed medication, another one needed specialised food so I know how to deal with that. My last dog passed away a year ago and I miss having a dog badly so hence this profile. I have a very kind and loving character and I’m super patient when it comes to dealing with a dog that has some particularities. I work from home so I’m super flexible and can’t wait to have some nice long walks again.

Ilse was great and very friendly. Our dog was very comfortable around her. However we had to end terms with her 2 days before because there were lot of fire crackers in Amsterdam and our dog was very scared. Not a great place for dogs during new years. Otherwise Ilse is great:slight_smile:

I have a lovely cat who is almost 3 years old. I once fostered a cat for a friend for three weeks. They got along well during that time. They brought me a lot of happiness, and I used my camera to record those happy moments. My cat has a good temper. He currently gets along well with some cats. When the cat was fostered at my house, I put raw beef that my cat liked. I saw my cat touching noses with the cat before eating the beef, as if calling him to eat together. Then the cat came over and sniffed the beef and walked away. Maybe he didn’t like beef. But this scene surprised me. I usually play with my cat at night.

Mijn vader woont op een hobbyboerderij met verschillende dieren; 2 honden, katten, geiten, varkens, koeien, kippen, schapen, etc. Sinds dat ik 7 ben, ben ik opgegroeid met een hond in huis.
