Shelter Dogs | Animal Behaviour Student

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. I help with socialization, basic training, and supporting dogs with different behavioral needs. I’ve completed training focused on fearful and reactive dogs, as well as an 8-week course tailored to an individual dog’s needs. My sweetheart Milo crossed the rainbow bridge in June, and he’s the biggest reason I decided to follow this path. Spending time with other dogs is one of the ways I still feel close to him and I know he’d be happy to see me doing this. ❤️ Having loved Milo as much as I did, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. So no worries, I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated with plenty of pictures and little updates along the way. 😊 I live with my boyfriend, and we both have flexible schedules. Our place is just 15 minutes from Vondelpark and close to two local dog parks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and have fun. A few things to know: ✅ I can administer oral medication. ✅ I'm experienced with puppies and senior dogs. ✅ I only board dogs that get along well with cats, so we can make sure our princess Zelda stays safe. 🐱❤️ ✅ Since we live in a small apartment, I only accept one small-medium sized dog, or up to two small dogs from the same household, so everyone has enough space to relax and feel comfortable. ✅ Meet & greets are always welcome before the stay. I grew up with all types of animals back in North Carolina, from dogs to lizards, you name it. I learned how to care for creatures, big to small, whether they were my own pets or not. While living in Amsterdam for 9 years I have taken on a few opportunities to pet sit and loved it. Nina took great care of our dog when we were away for a couple of days. She made our dog feel at home immediately and shared updates and pictures with us so we knew the dog was in good hands. In mijn gezellige woning op de 2e verdieping vlak aan het Erasmuspark is een plekje vrij voor een oppashond! Liefdevolle plek voor jouw lieve maatje

Ik ben gek op honden, vind het heel gezellig met een hond in huis en hou er van lekker met ze te wandelen. Doordat ik regelmatig reis heb ik geen eigen hond meer, maar is het des te leuker regelmatig op te passen. Ik ben als kind met honden opgegroeid en heb zelf twee honden gehad. Mijn eerste hond was een hele lieve kruising van meerdere soorten (waaronder herder) en m'n tweede een lekker eigenwijze Shiba Inu. Ik vind het ontzettend leuk om op honden te passen! Ik geniet ervan om met ze te wandelen, te spelen en gezellig tegen ze te kletsen, want honden zijn wat mij betreft de allerbeste gesprekspartners 😉. Bij mij krijgt jouw hond aandacht, liefde en beweging, omdat ik het zelf ook heerlijk vind om buiten te zijn. Bij mijn ouders thuis ben ik opgegroeid met een hond en ik pas regelmatig op die van een vriendin. Zelf heb ik nu geen hond, omdat mijn man en ik niet elke dag thuis zijn vanwege werk. Daarom is oppassen via PetB&B voor mij de ideale manier om toch tijd door te brengen met honden, iets wat ik met heel veel plezier doe! Ik kan oppassen op woensdag, zaterdag en zondag. En vrijdag in overleg omdat ik dan soms thuis werk.

Hondenliefhebber voor al uw oppassbehoeften!

Hi, Mijn naam is Isabelle, 29 jaar, en ik ben DOL op honden! :) het liefste had ik zelf al een hondje gehad, maar daar heb ik op dit moment nog niet genoeg tijd voor. Als échte hondenliefhebber geniet ik altijd heel erg van het gezelschap. Ik heb ervaring met verschillende honden rassen; grotere, actieve hondenrassen, zoals de Labrador, Labradoodle, Toller en Border Collie. Hoi, ik ben Dave 18 jaar, ik woon in Hoofddorp en heb een golden retriever en ze heet Dasja en is 8 jaar. Ik hou heel erg veel van honden, ik speel graag en loop graag met ze. Hi! Ik ben Ilse, 33 jaar en woon intussen 12 jaar in Amsterdam. Sinds mijn jeugd ben ik omringd met dieren. Hobbies zijn sporten (boulderen, wielrennen, hardlopen) en de bergen intrekken. Goed om te weten is dat ik door mijn werk niet altijd zo flexibel kan zijn als ik zou willen.
