Your go-to person for your pet in Diemen Zuid 🥰

Hey, I am Eva. I am a graphic designer and I work from home. I loved taking care of my friends pets, that’s why I decided to try this app. I have realised that having a pet to take care of is also benefitial for me and allows me to have some breaks from work, which can be more flexible than average, so your pet can enjoy going out often! I am vegan and I love animals, so will do my best to make your pet feel like home in your absence! ____________________________________ Please read below for more info: - If your dog is a puppy and is not trained I will charge a bit more, since it would be more time-consuming for me. Taking care of your beloved is a responsability I take very seriously, but I have my main work and cannot watch them as much as I would like to, specially if they are constantly making trouble at home, thank you for understanding :) - I always ask about how is the dog behaviour at home and outside; how he behaves with other people, kids and other dogs; how is the walk outside, about pulling and responding to commands…Basically I want to have an overview of what to expect and If I am really suitable for your little one. - When dog boarding mainly, please bring everything necessary for your dog’s stay like food, treats, bed, toys, hair care, brushes..so your doggy can feel like home since day one. - I always suggest meeting before you drop your dog with me, so he/she can get used to the place and me and my boyfriend and it is not new all at once, let me know and we can schedule a day to meet. - In addition to the above, please keep in mind that I don’t take dogs without a prior meeting. If you have more questions, please don’t heasitate to drop me a message! Hope to meet your furry friend/daughter/son soon 🐶

The best!

Retired engineer, super reliable, loves animals!

I am a retired civil engineer, and moved to Amsterdam 6 months ago. I currently have two cats, and used to have a lab-chow mix. I have sat for both dogs and cats, and love animals. Once I've made a commitment, I follow through. I'll take great care of your pets, either cats or dogs. If walking your dog, we can go for a jog or walk around the Vondelpark. My specialty is helping to diagnose and treat behavior problems in both cats and dogs. I am happy to consult with you about your animal's issues for free as a part of my house sitting or dog walking. In Houston, I was known by my friends as the Cat Whisperer. Now I guess I will become I The Cat Whisperer of Amsterdam! I am a certified professional dog trainer. I have experience with challenging dogs and can help with whatever your dog's challenge, be it separation anxiety, barking, lunging at joggers or other behaviors. Even my own lab-chow mix, Dante, was aggressive around small dogs (she saw them as prey) and had separation anxiety. She was able to respond to voice commands and learned how to heel. We helped ease her anxiety as well. Each dog is unique, and it is important to know how each dog will best respond to training based on their sensitivities. I am happy to consult with you about your dog's issues. My training philosophy is based on César Millán's (The Dog Whisperer's) approach to training, as well as my work with trainers for dog service animals. My current male cat, Chaos, is 15 years old. The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!

Aanbeveling

I was very happy with the care Erik provided for our cat, Puck. When he first came to meet Puck, Erik brought catnip, which Puck clearly enjoyed, and spent a full hour playing with him. Puck was active and engaged the whole time, showing how comfortable and happy he was. The sitter also earned Puck’s trust by letting him curl up on their lap to purr, which speaks to the gentle and caring attention he gave. It was reassuring to know Puck was not only looked after but truly enjoyed his visits.

Friendly Dog/Cat sitter in Amsterdam

I had 3 years of experience taking care of my dog and cat when I lived at my parents’ place, before that I had experience pet sitting my grandparents’ dog. Now I also have experience pet sitting dogs at my current place for short term (2-3 days) and a bit longer period (3 weeks), and it has been working quite well. When I am spending time with dogs, usually I will take them to parks or somewhere peaceful and full of nature. I will play balls (or their favorite toys) with them, and let them walk/run as much as they want. I always bring a water bottle, wet cleaning paper, and a trash bag with me, so when dogs are thirsty, I can give them water, or when they get dirty, I can clean them with the wet paper, and after they poop, I will pick it up and put it in the trash bag. It’s important to make our little friends feel happy, relaxed, and content, while keeping the environment clean. With cats I am quite experienced, because I spent almost everyday with my cat during Covid. We shared the bed together every night, and I love giving him massages and petting his little belly. I am quite sensitive to cats’ abnormal behaviors, so if anything goes wrong I can notice very fast. I find cats very lovable and healing, and luckily cats usually find me trustworthy. My room is 27 square meters, and I have a big living room, so there will be enough space for cats/dogs. Besides, there is a beautiful park near my place. If you need someone to take care of your pets, I highly recommend myself :)

Ruby was very sweet with Scotty. Took great care of him and sent me reassuring pictures when I left him with her for a couple of days. Would highly recommend her.

Our two doggos had a great time with Bruna! She took the time to really get to know our dogs, and made sure they got on well with her dog Ozzy by meeting up for a walk beforehand. We know we can trust her and that she will always provide lots of love and attention for our little ones. Thank you so much Bruna!

Aanbeveling

Iva has always taken care of both cats and dogs while growing up. There wasn’t a time when the family didn’t have a pet in the house, so she’s very natural with taking care of pets. She has also been taking care of my cat for years, and everything always went smoothly. I can always rely on her. She’s definitely trustworthy and would recommend her as a pet sitter to anyone!

Leuke lieve oppas wonend tegenover plantsoen!

Amsterdam West Expat Pet Care

I love Dogs and Hiking. I live in Amsterdam West with my husband. We are not quite ready to own our own dog since we like to travel but really enjoy helping out with others. Happy to help with holiday coverage at our apartment or I would love to walk your dog to have a break of happiness in the middle of the day. We both work from home so I can make any schedule work with notice. I owned dogs throughout my life of various sizes and loved many dogs from friends. I offer holiday coverage and dog walking. I only like to host one dog at a time at my place since it is hard to predict how the dogs will interact. I live with my husband across the canal from a dog park which I would be happy to take your dog if you would like. I am open to help with your dog while you are out of town. I can host at my apartment or I work from home so can easily work from your apartment for a few hours a day to keep your dog company throughout the day. We can work out a schedule that you would feel comfortable with to ensure your pet is happy. I am American but have been living in the Netherlands for the past 5 years and love it here. Let me know if you would like to know any other details and I am happy to share.

Good communication and she’s very nice!

Honden oppas in Amsterdam!

Wil je een keer bellen of kennismaken? let us know! Groetjes, Kyra

The Best in West

With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, I understand the needs and personalities of our furry friends. I've always had a dog by my side, so your pet will feel right at home with me. I love going on long walks and exploring nature, and I live right next to Erasmus Park, which offers plenty of space for playful adventures and exercise. Your dog will enjoy a variety of activities, from leisurely strolls to energetic play sessions, ensuring they stay happy and engaged during their time with me. I look forward to being a trusted companion for your pet!

Noah was fantastisch! Thank you Noah!

Wag Pup Retreat

Hi! My name is Marijke. I am a freelance video- and photographer and volunteer at DOA, the biggest animal shelter in Amsterdam. I grew up with dogs and one day would love to be a 'pawrent' myself, but due to my many travel plans, walking/sitting your pup is a great alternative to spend time with sweet furry K9’s. Besides my filmmaking & photography business, I have been a certified dog walker for 7 years (in SF and NYC) and as such have walked and taken care of more than 180 different dogs in all shapes and sizes. And I love them all as if they were my own! My service got nothing but 5 out of 5 stars reviews. I've also been a foster dog mum. I cared for 4 rescue dogs transported from Texan high-kill shelters to NYC with Hearts & Bones Rescue organization. I cared for and trained these sweeties, gave them a safe and loving home to decompress from all the hardships, before they got adopted #savinglives Your dog will receive maximum attention, play time, walks, bathroom stops and belly rubs :-))). And of course I will sent you photo/video/text updates so you are assured your furry sweetheart has the best time ever. Your dog will be walked at least two to three times a day (depending on how long the sitting lasts). Your pup may be left alone 2 hours max. There are no other pets in my home. I live on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator, so be aware your dog needs to be able to take stairs or is fine with being carried. My home is near the Vondelpark so I am well situated to take your pupper to enjoy some exercise and fresh air. Please, feel free to reach out to me. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry baby! Thank you.

very happy with Marijke looking after our little Potato. it was our first time leaving our dog with someone and we made a great choice with her. her home is very clean and neat, safe for dogs! :) she was communicating very well in english too (got a lot of images and updates) & she was super gentle with our tiny dog. she is friendly, well prepped and welcoming so we did not worry for a minute! ❤️ thanks so much again for helping us out

“Every dog must have his day”

I joined ''Petbnb'' recently, so I must be honest that I don't have much experience with dog sitting but, I have one review that you can check out and that can help you. I can only say that I will do my best to make sure your pet is safe, well treated and especially happy. I'm an active person so, playing and having fun could be a big part of the time your dog and I spend together. I really wish I had left a good impression of myself and I'm already looking forward to meeting you and your dog.

Karlo did a great job! He was very responsible and took care of Matilda over the weekend. He sent me her pictures frequently and I was happy to know how it goes. She liked him a lot and probably will want to stay with him again ;)

Trusted Dog Sitter - Approved by my 16 y/o Beagle

I have a Beagle named KING waiting for me at home in Italy. He has been part of my family since I was just 8 years old, so we grew up together. Now that he's older, it's my turn to take care of him, and through this, I've truly experienced what it means to look after a dog. Beagles can be crazy, energetic dogs, so taking long walks is no problem for me! King unfortunately had surgery last year, so I can say I became a nurse sitter for the post-surgery care as well. I also dog-sat a beautiful Maltese Bichon Frisé named Lucky for an entire week, so I have experience with house sitting as well. Lucky is like a little prince, so I learned how to do a full daily beauty routine for him!

Dog enthusiast willing to help!

Groeten, Sjaak
