Hi, (English below) Mijn naam is Linda, ik woon al 25 jaar in Amsterdam en ben een enorme hondenliefhebber. Ik heb jaren in het toerisme gewerkt en in 2021 heb ik besloten mijn andere passie te volgen en honden instructeur te worden. Ik geef les op een hondenschool & werk bij een hondenopvang. Ik weet hoe moeilijk het kan zijn om een goede en betrouwbare oppas te vinden waar je je hond aan toevertrouwt, ik heb zelf heel wat uren op Petbnb doorgebracht op zoek naar een beschikbare en vaste oppas. Ik ben relatief flexibel in mijn werkuren/locatie, dus neem contact op als je een oppas zoekt voor een dagje of langer. Ik sta open voor elk type hond, maar ben een beetje bevooroordeeld als het om bulldogs gaat, ik ben gek op hun 'speciale' karakter ;-) My name is Linda, I've been living in Amsterdam for the last 25 years and I'm a huge dog lover. I'm open for any type of dog, but am a bit biased when it comes to bulldogs, I just love their 'special' character ;-)

Grote dierenvriend met veel liefde over

Mijn naam is Jiska en zolang ik mij kan herinneren is mijn liefde en passie voor dieren heel groot! Vanaf kleins af aan hadden wij al katten bij mijn ouders thuis, waar nu nog steeds een rode rakker genaamd Bowie rondloopt. De liefde voor andere dieren was er altijd ook al, en is ook de grootste reden waarom ik voor al m’n vrienden en vriendinnen de oppas voor hun huisdieren ben. De dieren waar ik vooral op pas zijn dan ook katten en honden. De liefde voor honden werd nóg groter toen mijn schoonouders een labradoodle kregen. Toen kwam ik er achter wat voor onvoorwaardelijke liefde zo’n beestje je kan geven. En daarnaast ook nog eens gezelligheid & vrolijkheid. Met alle liefde passen wij vaak genoeg op deze lieve doodle genaamd Otis. Helaas wonen wij in een appartement en zijn wij nog onregelmatig van huis waardoor wij (nog) geen dieren kunnen hebben. Ik mis dus een beetje dierenliefde en pas ik graag op die van jou! En ik wandel graag… Wat is er leuker om dat met een harig maatje te doen?

Rennen, wandelen, spelen om daarna lekker relaxen. Niks leuker dan een contente viervoeter! Ik beleef een fantastische connectie met dieren en heb dan zelf ook altijd dieren gehad. (Honden, katten, konijnen, geiten, vissen, cavia's en hamsters). Het zijn de grootste schatten op aarde. I am a former pet owner, have grown up with a wonderful labrador, and have looked after cats and dogs for most of my life. My boyfriend and I have a cute apartment in the countryside, we have a flowerful balcony, and we’re surrounded by green. There are lots of areas where your pets can enjoy themselves. Dierenvilla op de Herengracht 🐾

Vanaf jongs af aan altijd al in vriendenboekjes geschreven dat ik ‘iets met dieren’ wilde doen later. Ook elke verjaardag en Sinterklaas gesmeekt om een hond. Nu al 14 jaar een hond en sinds 7 jaar een tweede, beide bij mijn ouders. Ik mis ze wel als ik in mijn studentenstad ben en daarom bij PetBnB gekomen! Kan ook erg goed met katten, in mijn studentenhuis in Utrecht altijd een kat gehad. Ik vind het leuk om om dieren heen te zijn en krijg er altijd energie van. Zelf ben ik sportief, zorgzaam en lief. Met dieren houd ik van knuffelen, lange wandelingen buiten, spelen en lekker samen op de bank liggen. Iris looked after our two dogs, Maggie and Britian, while we were away on holiday, and she was absolutely wonderful. One of our dogs is unwell and required special care and close, watchful attention, and Iris handled this with incredible care, calmness, and responsibility. Both dogs clearly adored her — they were happy, relaxed, and very well cared for when we returned. She walked them twice a day, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was incredibly reassuring to see how attentive and thoughtful she was throughout our time away. Shelter Dogs | Animal Behaviour Student

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. Our place is just 15 minutes from Vondelpark and close to two local dog parks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and have fun.
