Flexibele thuiswerker & enthousiaste hondenfan

Sinds kinds af aan, heb ik altijd voor buren en vrienden honden uitgelaten of opgepast. Nu pas ik regelmatig op de golden retriever van een familielid, vaak meerdere dagen achter elkaar. Ik werk regelmatig vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel flexibiliteit heb om tijdens de lunch lekker te wandelen in het Haagse Bos of Clingendael. In het weekend ga ik graag naar het strand, en als jouw hond dat leuk vindt, neem ik hem of haar natuurlijk mee. Bij ons thuis is er volop ruimte om te ontspannen: de hond kan rustig binnen liggen of op ons grote terras op de begane grond relaxen. Maar ik vind het ook leuk om samen actief bezig te zijn: van lange wandelingen tot lekker spelen. Zo krijgt jouw hond zowel beweging als de rust die hij of zij nodig heeft. Samen met mijn vriend, die is opgegroeid met honden en net zo’n liefhebber is, zorgen we ervoor dat honden zich hier welkom, veilig en gelukkig voelen.

Wij zijn Nikki en Justus. Allebei zijn wij 28 en wonen en werken in Den Haag. Wij zijn ruim 8 jaar samen en hebben ons hele leven al huisdieren gehad. Toevallig zijn wij beide opgegroeid met Canadese Herders, dus we zijn wel wat gewend. Verder hebben wij ruime ervaring met het oppassen op een hoop verschillende honden door jaren lang Petbnb oppasser te zijn. Justus werkt vaak ‘s ochtends en ‘s middags en kan daarom de hond lekker vroeg uitlaten. Nikki werkt voornamelijk thuis en kan daarom makkelijk tussendoor de middag wandelingen doen. Wij hebben geen tuin, wel een balkon. Onze voordeur is op twee hoog en te bereiken door twee trappen. De honden die bij ons blijven moeten dus wel trap kunnen lopen, of het niet erg vinden om opgetild te worden. Graag passen wij op honden die voor een of meerdere dagen bij ons blijven. Zo past het huisdier perfect in ons leven en krijgt het alle aandacht dat het beestje verdient.

I hate to sound like a broken record here but I can't stress how amazing it is to be able to leave your beloved pet and not have a single worry about their care while you have to travel. Ranger stayed with Justus and Nikki again and we couldn't be more happy with the love and care he gets while with them.

Hello dog lovers, I work from home a few days a week and love having a little companion throughout the day. My husband, Lourens, and I also have our own little dog, Ansie Bester, a 4 kg Yorkshire Terrier. She’s very social and loves having a friend around, especially smaller dogs that she can comfortably play with. While I love all animals, I have a special place in my heart for tiny dogs. I've really grown up with dogs, and dogs of all sizes. I usually form a bond with animals pretty quickly. I'm patient and enjoy giving them lots of love, cuddles and a calm, safe environment. Both Ansie and I are very happy just being at home, but we also enjoy going for walks and spending time outside. Al vanaf pup pas ik regelmatig op de labrador van mijn zus en ik wandel ook vaak met de labrador van vrienden. Daarnaast hebben mijn tantes golden retrievers, een Berner sennenhond en een newfoundlander, dus ik heb ervaring met verschillende rassen en hun specifieke behoeften. Ik hou ook heel erg van kleine hondjes. Met kleine hondjes ben ik opgegroeid (king Charles spaniëls, keeshondjes) en heb ik ruime ervaring, en ik merk tijdens deze PerBnB carrière dat ik kleine hondjes heel gezellig vind om op te passen. Ik hou van actief spelen en wandelen, maar ik vind het ook heerlijk om lekker te ontspannen en knuffelen met huisdieren. Veel van mijn vriendinnen hebben katten waar ik ook graag mee speel en knuffel (uiteraard alleen als de kat daar ook zin in heeft). Ik vind het geweldig om tijd door te brengen met huisdieren en ik zou graag de zorg op mij willen nemen wanneer hun baasjes niet beschikbaar zijn. Daphne was fantastisch! Wij waren met spoed opzoek naar een oppas in Rotterdam. Op korte termijn hebben wij een kennismaking ingepland en vond de oppasdag plaats. Er is lekker gewandeld en geknuffeld met Maui. Mocht je opzoek zijn naar een betrouwbare en lieve oppas, dan is Daphne zeker aan te raden. Plan graag weer een nieuwe datum in als het weer nodig is. Ik heb al een aantal jaar ervaring met het oppassen op honden en katten, denk hierbij aan uitlaten, borstelen, voeren, kattenbak schoonmaken, medicatie toedienen etc. Zelf heb ik een hele lieve kat Sima en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk op de katten afdeling in het dierenasiel, dus katten met een rugzakje zijn geen enkel probleem! Honden met gedragsproblemen heb ik wat minder ervaring mee, maar ik schrik niet snel en ga een uitdaging niet uit de weg. Ik zou graag willen helpen waar het kan en sta eventueel ook open voor kleine huishoudtaken mocht dat nodig zijn! (plantjes water geven, het vuil wegbrengen etc).

Jess was excellent with Kobe! I couldn’t imagine a better dog sitter to Kobe. he seemed very happy! she took amazing pictures for Kobe (which is not an easy task). even took him for a swim on his birthday! We really enjoyed our holiday a lot more knowing that Kobe was well taken care of and given so much love and attention during our holiday! I’m pretty sure Kobe will go back to Jess in the future.
