We can’t always wait for 2–3 hours, as we also have our own plans—resting, cleaning the apartment, meeting with friends and family. It is very inconvenient to constantly change our schedule and stay in “waiting mode.” If you are running late (up to 15 minutes), please let us know in advance. We need time to pack your pet’s belongings, and during this process, dogs often get excited, start barking or whining, and this can last for 30 minutes or more, making it difficult to handle. And very often, different clients have dogs with the same name! --- About Us Mike and I love animals! In my home country, I was a volunteer working to rescue stray cats and dogs. I have a lot of experience caring for sick cats, pregnant cats, kittens, and puppies. I can give injections to cats, kittens, and dogs if needed, and I have also assisted in cat neutering surgeries. We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. I also have three years of experience teaching music at a school, working with children aged 6 to 16. I come from a family of educators—my mother and grandmother were both teachers. I am currently learning Dutch, but for now, I can only speak English and Russian, and I understand some Dutch. Mike has had dogs since childhood. Please feel free to contact us, and we will find the best way for me to help you with your pet. I also promise to follow your recommendations on how to care for your beloved pet! --- Important Notes 1. We take more than one dog. Not always, but during high seasons, we can have multiple guests, just like other pet sitters. However, all guest dogs here are friendly, sweet, and non-aggressive. Conflicts are not allowed, as we live in an apartment, and our neighbors wouldn’t be happy, haha. 2. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). As a result, I could have a very flexible schedule and I could work from home to stay with pets. I truly miss having animals around me and would love to spend more time caring for cats and dogs. I noticed that I got a review with very positive content but only 4 paws in rating. I am a bit confused about this. Is it because an accidentally wrong click or something? But no worries I know that I am the best sitter and I take best care of the animals and I reply messages very quick and I update a lot of photos and videos. I give a lot of attention and cuddle them a lot. I speak to them with the softest voice. I follow the instructions well and I am always willing to do more. I love and take care of the animals not just I want a nice review record but I truly love them. I'll be a bit sad if I am gonna miss some adorable animals because of this 4 paws review. No I need 15 more 5-paw reviews to go back to 5-paw 😭 IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST: I usually responde fast, and I appreciate EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION that you can save your time to company your fluffy boys and girls more. We value each other's time. I only speak English. My place is only a 42 m2 appartment with a seperate bedroom. Not a good choice for villa dogs. I live in an apartment. As a result, I can't accept dogs with barking issues. This is a red flag for my neighbors. I usually don't accept dogs with separation anxieties. In special situation you can ask and I can prepare myself. I can only accept one dog at a time. It depends on your preferences that you can state clearly. My recently experience showed that dogs can make friends immediately and enjoy each other. They can calm down or feel relaxed quicker than staying with a sitter alone. However, my family dog doesn't like sharing humans with other dogs. He will be a bit jealous. So it depends. I care about the tidiness of the house in a way that both pets and humans can enjoy a nice living space. I allow pets on sofa and furnitures and on my laps. I would like to cuddle them a lot. As a result, I would clean the paws after each walk using a soft wet wipe in a very gentle way. If your pet doesn't like paws being touched, then I am not a suitable sitter for them. For safety reasons, I don't accept boys and girls who are heavier than 25kg. Otherwise I may have difficulties in unusual situations where I need to carry/lift them. IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN ME, here is my background: My family has a cream-colored Shiba Inu who is incredibly adorable. I also have hands-on experience caring for a British Shorthair silver shaded cat, whom I looked after for several months while helping a friend. During that time, I was responsible for daily feeding, litter cleaning, and providing companionship, while keeping the cat comfortable and relaxed in its usual routine. Animals have always been an important part of my life. My mom is especially good at caring for animals — from chicks, birds, and rabbits to dogs — and she has always taken excellent care of them. Growing up in that environment, I believe I’ve inherited her patience, sense of responsibility, and genuine love for animals. When babysitting, I focus on following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. For dogs, this includes regular walks, playtime, and calm interaction based on their energy level. For cats, I respect their personality — whether they enjoy active play or prefer quiet company. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention. Before each stay, I’m happy to arrange a visit or meet-up with you and your pets so we can go through any important details together. I truly appreciate it when owners share their pets’ preferences, habits, and routines — every boy and girl is unique, and understanding what they like helps me provide better, more personalized care. Fijne wandelingen met een echte dierenliefhebber

Ik ben dol op hondjes, maar door mijn werk kan ik er zelf geen hebben omdat ik vaak van huis ben. Daarom leek PetBnB me een fantastische tussen oplossing! Wandelen met honden geeft mij echt plezier en energie. Ik geniet ervan om buiten te zijn en te zien hoe een hondje bijvoorbeeld kan genieten van het strand, waar ik vlakbij woon. Mijn vriendinnen noemen me een dierenfluisteraar; dieren voelen zich snel op hun gemak bij mij. Of het nu gaat om een energieke wandeling (kort of lang), spelletjes in de tuin, knuffelen of gewoon gezelschap houden, ik doe alles met veel liefde en aandacht. Ik vind het heerlijk om een band op te bouwen met jouw hond en er samen een vrolijke, veilige en plezierige ervaring van te maken. Ik heb zelf een kat thuis, maar heb voldoende ervaring om dit goed te combineren met honden (mits het geen hondje is dat echt niet met katten kan). Ik heb veel opgepast op honden van vrienden en kennissen, en dat vind ik altijd geweldig. Ik begrijp hoe spannend het kan zijn om je hond aan iemand anders toe te vertrouwen. Daarom neem ik die verantwoordelijkheid altijd heel serieus. Ik respecteer alle afspraken, routines en aanwijzingen van het baasje; van voeding en wandelingen tot rustmomenten en regels in en buitenshuis. Met aandacht, liefde én zorgvuldigheid zorg ik ervoor dat zowel hond als baasje zich veilig en op hun gemak voelen. Schroom niet om me te benaderen met vragen!

DogSister - óók voor de poes!

Mijn kennis is gebaseerd op intuïtie en gezond verstand. In de loop van de tijd heb ik veel ervaring mogen opdoen met het begeleiden van honden en hun baasjes, door liefdevol af te stemmen op de behoeftes van het dier. * I'm fluent in English * Je parle Français couramment * Ich spreche ein wenig Deutsch LET OP: de vergoeding die automatisch wordt gecalculeerd klopt meestal niet. Helaas kan ik dit niet voorkomen. Ik kom graag naar jouw huis om voor je hond te zorgen. Vaak is het beter om een hond in de eigen vertrouwde omgeving te laten wanneer de baas een poosje weggaat. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer een hond ziek is of net geopereerd, of nogal oud of juist heel jong, of hij/zij heeft misschien een gebruiksaanwijzing of kan niet goed alleen zijn. Of er is helemaal niets aan de hand en is-tie hartstikke braaf - dat kan natuurlijk ook! Minstens vier keer per dag doen we een wandeling, ik speel spelletjes die voor jouw hond geschikt zijn, natuurlijk wordt er volop geknuffeld en uiteraard zorg ik voor de nodige rust. Als je wilt kan ik je op de hoogte houden van hoe het met je hond gaat, door je regelmatig berichtjes en foto's te sturen. De meeste baasjes vinden dat wel fijn, zeker in het begin. Dat kan ik ook goed begrijpen, want het is toch een hele stap om je hond aan een ander toe te vertrouwen. Behalve opvang voor de hond geef ik ook coaching en training voor baasje & hond samen. Ik heb veel ervaring met puppies, maar ook met dove honden en honden die dementeren. Verder kan ik helpen bij diverse opvoedingsproblemen (zelfs op latere leeftijd), waaronder trauma's, prooinijd, verlatingsangst en natuurlijk trekken aan de lijn. In geval van zeer ernstige gedragsstoornissen moet ik weleens doorverwijzen. Mijn tarieven kunnen voor iedere hond en situatie weer anders zijn, dus let niet op het bedrag wat automatisch bij je aanvraag verschijnt. Bijvoorbeeld: voor een wekelijkse lange wandeling vraag ik meestal €25, maar als ik in de vakantie drie weken bij een hond logeer dan tel ik €50 per dag. Voor een tweede of derde hond van hetzelfde baasje reken ik natuurlijk niet het volle pond! Van tevoren spreek ik altijd af om uitgebreid kennis te maken en daarna doe ik een voorstel. Logeren bij honden doe ik tijdens de schoolvakanties ook buiten Leiden. Mijn beschikbaarheid op de PetBnB kalender houd ik niet altijd precies bij. Neem gerust contact op om te overleggen over de mogelijkheden voor jouw hond.

Lena heeft niet alleen fantastisch gezorgd voor onze kat, ze heeft heel actief meegedacht over het proces. Door eerst kennis te maken en de updates tussendoor konden wij zorgeloos op vakantie. Wij zijn hartstikke tevreden en zouden Lena zeker nog eens vragen om op te passen.

Fun walks, snuggles and quality time guaranteed

Hoi! Santino en ik zijn enorme dierenliefhebbers en passen dan ook graag op jouw viervoeter. We houden van wandelen en gaan regelmatig naar Delftse Hout of het strand. We hebben zelf altijd huisdieren gehad en zijn de trouwe oppas voor de viervoeters van onze vrienden en familie. Inmiddels hebben we ervaring met honden, katten, knaagdieren en vogels. Santino studeert nog en ik werk veel thuis waardoor we extra tijd hebben voor knuffels, spelen, en wandelen. We wonen in een appartement met balkon op de tweede verdieping en gaan graag naar buiten als onze viervoeter gast dat ook leuk vindt! Verder is Santino heel rustig, houdt van lezen, duiken en spelletjes. Ik vind het leuk om op pad te gaan (wandelen, boulderen, duiken) of te koken. Hopelijk zien we je snel! Stuur ons vooral een berichtje als je vragen hebt. We hebben ervaring met lang verblijf en kort verblijf en met verschillende honden rassen :) ——— Hi there! Vivi did an excellent job! Our little Ollie was taken such good care of and spoiled in all the best ways. :grin: She was also very responsive to our specific requests for how best to take care of him. Hoi! Wij zijn Friso en Olga, een stel uit Leiden, en sinds een paar jaar is het delen van ons huis en dagelijks leven met dieren een heel natuurlijk onderdeel van onze routine geworden. OVER ONZE ERVARING: We hebben allebei ervaring met het verblijven bij mensen thuis om voor hun honden en katten te zorgen, én met het opvangen van huisdieren bij ons thuis. Het afgelopen jaar hebben we voor honden van allerlei rassen, groottes, leeftijden en met verschillende karakters gezorgd, van Pomeranians en Franse bulldogs tot labradors, retrievers en Ierse setters. We hebben ook ervaring met het tegelijkertijd verzorgen van meerdere honden, en natuurlijk met katten. Ieder dier is anders, en ontdekken wat elk van hen nodig heeft om zich prettig en op zijn gemak te voelen, is een van de dingen die we het leukst vinden aan dierenoppas. Olga heeft zelf tien jaar lang een Basenji gehad. Ze heeft hem vanaf puppy opgevoed en heeft daardoor veel praktische ervaring met alles wat komt kijken bij het leven met een onafhankelijk, intelligent en energiek ras: training, structuur, routines, gedrag en, misschien wel het allerbelangrijkste, geduld en consequent zijn. Friso heeft ruime ervaring met het verzorgen van honden en katten, zowel samen met Olga als zelfstandig. OVER ONZE ZORG: Wanneer een hond of kat bij ons verblijft, zien we hem of haar niet echt als een ‘gast’ die alleen gevoerd, uitgelaten en verzorgd moet worden. Zolang ze bij ons zijn, worden ze onderdeel van ons kleine gezin. Dieren om ons heen hebben voegt echt iets toe aan ons leven. We houden van de gezelligheid, liefde en het plezier dat ze met zich meebrengen, maar genieten ook van de verantwoordelijkheid en structuur die bij de dagelijkse verzorging horen. Wandelen, eten geven, medicatie wanneer dat nodig is, spelen, rust en het aanhouden van hun normale routine zijn voor ons geen onderbrekingen van de dag. Ze worden er gewoon onderdeel van. We weten dat het heel persoonlijk kan voelen om je huisdier aan iemand anders toe te vertrouwen. Daarom nemen we de routines en instructies van baasjes serieus. We proberen hun gebruikelijke eet-, wandel-, medicatie-, slaap- en huisroutines zo goed mogelijk te volgen, terwijl we ze ook de tijd en ruimte geven die ze nodig hebben om zich bij ons op hun gemak te voelen. Natuurlijk sturen we ook graag foto’s, video’s en kleine updates, zodat je kunt zien hoe het met ze gaat en hoe ze bij ons wennen. Wat we willen bieden is eigenlijk heel eenvoudig: een tweede thuis, bij mensen die het oprecht fijn vinden om jouw huisdier bij zich te hebben. Niet zomaar een plek waar je huisdier kan verblijven terwijl jij weg bent, maar een plek waar hij of zij zich veilig, betrokken en verzorgd kan voelen als onderdeel van het gezin. Als dit klinkt als het soort verblijf dat je voor je huisdier zoekt, maken we graag kennis met jou en je huisdier. P.S. Friso is moedertaalspreker Nederlands. Olga spreekt vloeiend Engels en is Nederlands aan het leren.

Charlie heeft twee weken bij Olga en Friso gelogeerd en we zijn heel tevreden. We kregen regelmatig foto’s en updates. De eerste week moest Charlie vanwege een wond een hondenkraag dragen, maar ook dat was geen enkel probleem. Bij het ophalen was Charlie rustig en ontspannen. Heel fijn om te zien dat hij het zo goed heeft gehad! We laten hem zeker weer met een gerust hart bij Olga en Friso logeren.

Hi, Mijn naam is Annefleur en ik woon samen met mijn vriend en Jack Russel Gijsje in Voorburg. (English below) Katten- of hondenmens? Ik ben het allebei! Hoi! Ik ben Sterre, ik ben 33 jaar oud. Ik ben op zoek naar een viervoetermaatje. Of dat nu in de vorm van een kat of een hond is, maakt mij niet veel uit. Ik vind beide dieren leuk! In mijn ouderlijk huis ben ik opgegroeid in een gezellige beestenbende. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Honden en katten maken mij blij en ik merk de connectie met ze. Zij voelen dat bij mij aan, vaak lopen honden uit zichzelf vrolijk op mij af om hallo te zeggen en te snuffelen. Ik kan het dan natuurlijk niet weerstaan om even een aai over zijn/haar bol te geven. Met katten weet ik heel goed te herkennen wanneer zij aandacht willen en wanneer zij hun eigen ding willen doen. Ik woon dichtbij het Haagse Bos en vind het heerlijk om met een hond door het bos te wandelen. Doordeweeks werk ik, maar ik mag van mijn werkgever veel thuiswerken. Mijn werk kan ik overal waar WiFi is uitvoeren, dus ook bij jouw huisdier. Tussendoor en tegelijk met mijn werkzaamheden kan ik je hond uitlaten, met je hond/kat spelen en aandacht geven. Mijn kantoorrooster is zodanig flexibel dat ik bijvoorbeeld elke maandag voor je geliefde huisdier kan zorgen. We kunnen hier uiteraard goed contact over hebben wat jouw wensen zijn! Ik kan jou helpen door je hond met een middag- en/of avondrondje uit te laten, of ik kan bij jou thuis voor een aantal uur op je hond passen. Oppas voor je kat nodig? Whether that's in the form of a cat or a dog doesn't really matter to me. I like both animals! In my parental home, I grew up in a lively animal household. We had a dog (recently: a Münsterlander, previously: a Papillon), 4 cats, rabbits, chickens, and guinea pigs. I personally raised one of our dogs and took it to training (the Münsterlander, it's a hunting dog pedigree). Our cat has been pregnant twice, with one litter being rejected. I cared for and fed these kittens. In short, I practically grew up as an animal caretaker. Later, after leaving the parental nest, I unfortunately couldn't have pets due to a landlord's prohibition. Fortunately, I can occasionally look after my parents' cats and a friend's cat and Appenzeller Sennenhund. But I miss the regular animal connection immensely. Dogs and cats make me happy and I feel a connection with them. They sense this in me too, often dogs come up to me happily to say hello and sniff. I can't resist petting them. With cats, I can easily tell when they want attention and when they want to do their own thing. I live near the Haagse Bos and love to walk a dog through the forest. During the week, I work, and my employer allows me to work from home. I can do my job anywhere there’s Wi-Fi — including at your pet’s home. In between and alongside my work, I can walk your dog, play with your dog/cat, and give him/her attention. My office schedule is flexible, so I can promise that I can take care of your beloved pet every Monday, for example. We can have good contact about this! I can help walking your dog's afternoon and/or evening walk, or I can look after your dog at your home for a few hours. Need a sitter for your cat?
