Jose and myself are both pet lovers who grew up around animals. Sadly, we do not have enough space at the moment to have a pet for a long-period. That’s why we think that this concept is brilliant! We could look after your pet if you have tight schedule or simply want to go for a holiday. While occasional work travel makes a permanent pet infeasible, we would love to welcome your pooch into our home! We both mostly work from home, so are on-hand to give your fur baby all the attention they need. Due to the work from home situation, we are unable to look after loud dogs.

Great experience! Communication was easy and friendly from start to finish. Most importantly, Chicken was really happy and well looked after. We’d definitely book again! :feet:

We helped ease her anxiety as well. Each dog is unique, and it is important to know how each dog will best respond to training based on their sensitivities. I am happy to consult with you about your dog's issues. My training philosophy is based on César Millán's (The Dog Whisperer's) approach to training, as well as my work with trainers for dog service animals. My current male cat, Chaos, is 15 years old. The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!

I was very happy with the care Erik provided for our cat, Puck. When he first came to meet Puck, Erik brought catnip, which Puck clearly enjoyed, and spent a full hour playing with him. Puck was active and engaged the whole time, showing how comfortable and happy he was. The sitter also earned Puck’s trust by letting him curl up on their lap to purr, which speaks to the gentle and caring attention he gave. It was reassuring to know Puck was not only looked after but truly enjoyed his visits.

I absolutely adore dogs and cats, and I really enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. Whether it’s taking a leisurely walk or playing with them in the park, every moment spent with these animals is pure joy. Although I don’t have a lot of space at home, I’m lucky to have a garden where they can play and relax. Plus, living so close to the Noorderplantsoen is a real bonus. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll or an energetic game of fetch, making sure the dog gets plenty of exercise and fresh air. Even with the limited indoor space, having a nearby park means there's always somewhere to explore and enjoy nature together. I truly believe that spending time outdoors, surrounded by greenery and the simple pleasure of a pet's company, brings a sense of calm and happiness to my day and to theirs.

Friendly Dog/Cat sitter in Amsterdam

I had 3 years of experience taking care of my dog and cat when I lived at my parents’ place, before that I had experience pet sitting my grandparents’ dog. Now I also have experience pet sitting dogs at my current place for short term (2-3 days) and a bit longer period (3 weeks), and it has been working quite well. When I am spending time with dogs, usually I will take them to parks or somewhere peaceful and full of nature. I will play balls (or their favorite toys) with them, and let them walk/run as much as they want. I always bring a water bottle, wet cleaning paper, and a trash bag with me, so when dogs are thirsty, I can give them water, or when they get dirty, I can clean them with the wet paper, and after they poop, I will pick it up and put it in the trash bag. It’s important to make our little friends feel happy, relaxed, and content, while keeping the environment clean. With cats I am quite experienced, because I spent almost everyday with my cat during Covid. We shared the bed together every night, and I love giving him massages and petting his little belly. I am quite sensitive to cats’ abnormal behaviors, so if anything goes wrong I can notice very fast. I find cats very lovable and healing, and luckily cats usually find me trustworthy. My room is 27 square meters, and I have a big living room, so there will be enough space for cats/dogs. Besides, there is a beautiful park near my place. If you need someone to take care of your pets, I highly recommend myself :)

Ruby was very sweet with Scotty. Took great care of him and sent me reassuring pictures when I left him with her for a couple of days. Would highly recommend her.

Leuke lieve oppas wonend tegenover plantsoen!

Ik ben geboren op dierendag, dus wellicht dat ik daarom zo gek ben op dieren. Maar ook omdar ik ben opgegroeid met heel veel katten en honden. In mijn familie hebben we een aantal generaties Hollandse en Mechelse herders gehad, een Rhodesian, Jack Russell en ik heb zelf vorig jaar mijn hond Raya geadopteerd in Mexico. Het liefst de hele dag knuffelen met hondjes!

Als ik een hond zie lopen, ren ik er het liefst heen om te knuffelen. Dat vinden de baasjes niet altijd even leuk dus oppassen op jouw viervoeter lijkt me zo leuk! Toen ik bij mijn ouders woonde, hadden we een ontzettend lieve Golden Retriever, en gelukkig zijn er wat vrienden om me heen die een hond hebben. Op deze manier kan ik nog vaker gezellig buiten wandelen met een hondje, maar ook thuis oppassen lijkt me erg leuk. Zo hoeft jouw hond niet thuis te zitten, maar krijgt ‘ie genoeg aandacht én haalt ‘ie af en toe een frisse neus!

Hoi Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb altijd een hond thuis gehad. Omdat ik fulltime werk, heb ik helaas niet genoeg tijd om zelf een hond te nemen. Op woensdagen werk ik meestal vanuit huis en dan pas ik met alle plezier de hele dag op jouw hond. Ik woon in de Czaar Peterbuurt en het is ideaal als je je hond ’s ochtends bij mij kunt brengen. Toegewijde, liefdevolle oppas

Ik als oppas: Ik vind het heerlijk om met de hond te gaan wandelen, maar geniet ook al van alleen zijn/haar aanwezigheid in huis. Ik hoor graag wat de voorkeuren van de hond zijn zodat ik daarop aan kan passen. Kort over mij: Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Utrecht. Heb Media&Cultuur gestudeerd in Amsterdam en ben nu aan het werk in de filmwereld. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met katten, maar heb altijd een liefde voor honden gehad. Momenteel heb ik niet de middelen en tijd om zelf een hond te nemen, maar word erg gelukkig van de aanwezigheid van dieren en zou daarom graag af en toe oppassen! Woonsituatie: Ik woon met één huisgenoot in de Rivierenbuurt. We wonen op de eerste verdieping (trap), hebben een balkon en verschillende plekken in de buurt om lekker te wandelen.

Ik hou ontzettend veel van honden

Ik ben opgegroeid met veel dieren om me heen en ik heb altijd honden in huis gehad. Als hondeneigenaar ben ik bekend met veel verschillende hondenrassen van groot tot klein. Helaas ben ik momenteel niet in staat om zelf een huisdier te hebben, maar ik zou het toch enorm leuk vinden om eens in de tijd wat liefde aan een hond te kunnen geven en tegelijkertijd iemand uit de brand te kunnen helpen die op dat moment niet in staat is om dat zelf te doen.
