Hi, (English below) Mijn naam is Linda, ik woon al 25 jaar in Amsterdam en ben een enorme hondenliefhebber. Ik heb jaren in het toerisme gewerkt en in 2021 heb ik besloten mijn andere passie te volgen en honden instructeur te worden. Ik geef les op een hondenschool & werk bij een hondenopvang. Ik weet hoe moeilijk het kan zijn om een goede en betrouwbare oppas te vinden waar je je hond aan toevertrouwt, ik heb zelf heel wat uren op Petbnb doorgebracht op zoek naar een beschikbare en vaste oppas. Ik ben relatief flexibel in mijn werkuren/locatie, dus neem contact op als je een oppas zoekt voor een dagje of langer. Ik sta open voor elk type hond, maar ben een beetje bevooroordeeld als het om bulldogs gaat, ik ben gek op hun 'speciale' karakter ;-) My name is Linda, I've been living in Amsterdam for the last 25 years and I'm a huge dog lover. I have worked in Tourism for years and in 2021 I decided to follow my other passion and become a Dog Instructor. I a teacher at a dog school & work at a doggie day care. I know how hard it can be to find a good and reliable sitter you trust your dog with, I've spend quite some hours on Petbnb myself looking for an available and continuous sitter. I'm relatively flexible in my working hours/location, so please reach out if you are looking for a sitter that can take your dog for a couple of hours or longer stay. I'm open for any type of dog, but am a bit biased when it comes to bulldogs, I just love their 'special' character ;-)

Gojo was thrilled to help out in the garden! He certainly didn’t do exactly what he was asked to do, but he definitely wants to do it again! Thanks to Linda for the happy dog :)

Disney for puppies

We love dogs since we were little. We always had pets and were taught to not only give them love, but also take care of them, give attention and enjoy time shared. We make sure they get all the necessary attention, love, entertainment & care. We try to adapt to what they like. If it’s an active dog we don’t hesitate on take them to a park, play togheter, have a walk and dedicate the time they are used to so they feel comfortable. And if it’s a pup that enjoys resting and accompanying more, we love that too! We also enjoy to teach them when they’re puppies since we love seeing their evolution :)

Everything went great! Rocio was very communicative and responsible. I would definitely recommend.

Back in Izmir, I cared for numerous street cats and shared my home with three adorable companions, one of whom is blind. Gul was an amazing pet sitter for my dog Sandy. She made Sandy feel comfy and at home with her and had wonderful patience, since it was one of Sandy’s first dog sitting days and she had some separation anxiety. Sandy already felt much more comfortable leaving me the second visit. And hopefully it will only improve. Gul is a great, knowledgable and reliable, pet sitter - I definitely recommend her!

Expat Dog Lover around Westerpark

I am an expat dog owner who works from home with my dog Moody (male, German Spitz). I had a family dog (labrador) when I was young and adopted Moody 6 years ago when I was in university and he has been with me ever since. I love dogs, of all breeds, sizes and colours!

My expartner adopted an American Staffordshire when we were together, and together we raised and educated him. Now that I am far away from home, I really miss having a dog around, going for walks, playing with him and giving him love. For this reason, I would love to have the opportunity of doing this with other dogs. I have never done a job like this before, but I know that I am more than prepared because I have been a mommy for a dog myself :) However, I have worked babysitting two kids for 5 years and they had a dog as well; I went for walks with her and also took care and played with her, and I really enjoyed it. Moreover, I can take care of dogs of all sizes and breeds because, I know from my own experience, that a dog can't be labelled because of a breed; it all depends on how they are treated and educated since they are babies. I am studying a master's right now and I have classes 3 times per week in the morning on average, but I am quite flexible.
