I miss my dog and I want to help with yours!

Since I was I child I have felt a great love for dogs. I grew up playing and taking care of my animal friends. Unfortunately when I moved out to study in The Netherlands 4 years ago, my dog stayed with my family and now I feel that I really miss having a contact with these sweet animals. I have experience taking care of Jack Russell Terrier that is now 10 years old. I am patient and paying attention to their needs. Also I am an active person, I like walking, so it is a really enjoyable activity for me. I am looking forward to meet your dog!

Een warme thuis voor jouw hond of kat 💕

Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf geen dier adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders zijn hond of kat te passen. Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler, een Maltezer en meerdere katten. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor diertjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden en katten lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je dier, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je huisdier in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Voor de rest woon ik op 40m² met een tuin, dus voor hele grote honden is mijn woning waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾

Shamira took really good care of Henri. He had plenty of exercise, was very well looked after, and came back home happy and relaxed. She also sent us daily updates with pictures and videos, which was really nice and reassuring. We would definitely recommend her!

Whenever I see a dog, any dog - I think of Yara immediately. My first reaction is to grab my phone and film the dog I have juste seen, and send it to her. That is the kind of power she has over me. Even amongst my group of friends, it is a given that no one loves their dog more than Yara loves hers. She has great patience and care for animals, even more so when it comes to her own dog, Blondie. Yara will immediately notice when something is wrong with Blondie, and always knows what to do. She never uses violence, ever, and has a solution for all of Blondie's tantrums. She celebrates Blondie's birthdays, and knows by heart of all her dog's habits and ticks. She is overall an amazing owner and whenever I will be thinking of adopting a dog, I will definitely go to her for advice. Yara basically grew up with Blondie, which means she learned how to take care of a dog while also learning how to read and write. It is definitely an advantage!

Hoi allemaal, zoals iedereen op deze website ben ook ik gek op honden :) Ik heb zelf een Boomer en Labrador gehad. Ik kan niet wachten om weer een thuis te geven aan een nieuwe hond. Ik wil heel graag een Newfoundlander (maar alleen als ik een groot huis + tuin heb, anders vind ik het zielig). Ik ben ook gek op alle andere honden, zoals bijv Pommery, Huskey, Labrador, Labradoedel, Golden Retriever, Beagle: je hoort het al, ik houd van ze allemaal hihi! Ik vind het heerlijk om lekker lang door het bos te wandelen (wandel elke dag minimaal 2/3 uur zelf, wat natuurlijk veel leuker is met een hond) en thuis met de beesten te spelen en te chillen. Excited to take care of your pet!

During my upbringing, I always had dogs around me. The first dog was named Murphy who was an Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier. My parents current dog is a Cobberdog named Charlie. She got 8 puppies last year, which was an amazing experience! Since living on my own, I've missed having a happy four-legged friend by my side. My appartment is situated in a calm area at NDSM. There are two big parks rather closeby, so there is lots of possibilities to go on nice walks. The living area of the appartment is big, comfortable and safe for your dog to stay.
