Hallo! Ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber en heb altijd een bijzondere band met honden gehad. Tijd met honden doorbrengen voelt voor mij niet als werk, maar als iets waar ik echt van geniet. Naast mijn fulltime baan ben ik op zoek naar een betekenisvolle nevenactiviteit waarmee ik meer tijd kan besteden aan iets waar ik van houd: voor dieren zorgen en hen de aandacht geven die ze verdienen. Ik bied een rustige, veilige en liefdevolle omgeving waar jouw hond veel aandacht, gezelschap en persoonlijke zorg krijgt. Ik geef er de voorkeur aan om één hond tegelijk te verzorgen (of honden uit hetzelfde gezin), zodat ik mij volledig kan richten op hun behoeften en dagelijkse routine. Een van de dingen die ik het leukste vind, is simpelweg quality time doorbrengen met honden: wandelen, spelen, samen ontspannen of lekker knuffelen. Ik bouw van nature een band op met honden en vind het geweldig om hun unieke persoonlijkheid te leren kennen. Ik begrijp hoe belangrijk vertrouwen is wanneer iemand anders voor je huisdier zorgt. Daarom stuur ik graag regelmatig updates en foto's, zodat je met een gerust hart van huis kunt zijn. Mijn doel is simpel: ervoor zorgen dat jouw hond zich veilig, comfortabel, geliefd en helemaal thuis voelt. P.S. I LOVE animals

This is Mingchu. I’m working and living in the centre of Delft as an expat from China. I’d love to take care of your pet dog for a short period of time if possible. I had pets when I was a kid and I’ve always loved animals in my life. I wouldn’t be the most professional pet sitter but I’d love to try. I live on a first floor 78 m2 apartment near Delft station and I have time in the early morning, evening or during the day to take care and work with the dog if working from home.

Minchu took the time to meet with my dog and me in advance of the stay and listen to my explanations of my dog's needs. I didn't know there was going to be another dog present when we came for the meet and greet. That went okay but it would have been good to know in advance. My dog stayed one night (24 hours) and everything seemed to go fine! Mingchu followed my instructions for food and medicine and sent me photos of Rhuby in the apartment. I would book with Mingchu again. Thanks!

More importantly for this profile, I’m someone who has basically spent my whole life surrounded by animals 🐾 I grew up in Inner Mongolia in a nomadic family, where animals have always been a huge part of everyday life. Back home, I have a four-year-old Mongolian Bankhar named Nyangar. His Mongolian name means “bright,” because he really did bring so much brightness into our family ✨ He’s a very big, fluffy dog with an even bigger personality, so I’m very comfortable around large dogs and definitely not intimidated by their size or strength. More recently, my family also adopted a beautiful long-haired silver shaded cat who had been abandoned by his previous owner. Having his in our family has given me even more experience with cats and made me appreciate just how different their personalities can be 🤍 When I look after an animal, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, relaxed and comfortable with me. I genuinely enjoy getting to know their little habits and personalities, whether that means going for walks, playing together, giving them attention, or simply giving them space when that’s what they prefer. Since moving to the Netherlands, I really miss having animals around me, so I’d love to make some more furry friends here and hopefully look after them regularly 🥹 I’ve even somehow become friends with quite a few neighborhood cats around my home — Pablo, Becky, Moses and a few others already know me 😂 When I was still living back home, I regularly looked after Molly, a lovely dog, and Mimi, a little cat, whenever their owners were away. Over time, I got to know them really well, including their different routines, little habits and personalities 🐶🐱Their family later moved to Norway, and this summer I actually travelled there specifically to look after Molly and Mimi again while their owners were away. I stayed with them for a month, keeping them company and making sure they were happy and well cared for. It was honestly such a lovely experience 🥹🤍 For me, pet sitting isn’t just about keeping an animal company while their human is away. Vriendelijk, sociaal en lief

Ik heb nu een aantal jaar als vrijwilliger gewerkt bij het Haags Dierencentrum, en heb hier met zowel honden als katten velen dagen doorgebracht. Het voordeel van een asiel is dat elke hond gelijk is, en dat je geen onderscheid maakt.
