Hello, my name is Madlena. I am originally from Latvia and have been living in the Netherlands for around nine years. Animals, especially dogs, have always been a very important part of my life. Together with my partner Andrejs, I offer a warm and loving home where every dog is welcomed as part of the family. We understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, so we always provide personal care, patience and plenty of attention. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, relaxed and loved while their owner is away. Whether it is a playful puppy, a calm senior dog or a dog that needs a little extra reassurance, I always adapt my care to what makes them feel most comfortable. -During their stay, pets receive loving, personalised care in a calm and comfortable home environment. Dogs enjoy playtime, cuddles and plenty of attention, while cats are given the space, care and routine they need to feel safe and relaxed. We live right next to a beautiful 7-hectare park, and there are also separate secure, fenced dog areas close to our home where dogs can safely run and play. I also send regular photos and videos, so owners can see how their pet is doing and enjoy complete peace of mind. We live in a smoke-free home with a securely fenced outdoor space. We do not have children or pets of our own, which means our guest dogs receive plenty of personal attention. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes and personalities, and I can also administer oral or injected medication when needed. For me, pet sitting is not just a job. It is about trust, responsibility and caring for every dog as if they were my own. Your dog can still be my only guest 🐾 For the past 4–5 years , I have cared for dogs from one household at a time, with only a few exceptions involving dogs I knew well and with their owners’ agreement. More recently, some owners have asked whether their dog could enjoy the company of a suitable companion during their stay. Following positive experiences, I have now enabled the option of welcoming dogs from more than one household. This is entirely optional and always discussed with all owners before confirming a booking, taking each dog’s temperament, size and needs into account. Dogs who are not comfortable around others are still very welcome. Once an exclusive stay is agreed for your household, I won’t accept any other dogs during those dates. If your dates are available, please feel free to message me! I may have no other dogs staying, or there may already be a guest. I’ll always explain the situation, ask about your dog and arrange a meet-and-greet where needed. Every arrangement is made carefully so that all dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dogs from different households are never left together unsupervised. Please note 🐾 • For boarding bookings with two or more dogs, the price may be negotiable. • Additional charges may apply to dog walks and drop-in visits in the evenings, at weekends and on public holidays. • Depending on the travel distance, an additional travel fee may apply to dog walking and drop-in visits.
