Hi! Im Dora and would like to take care of your fur friends. I never had my own furry friend back home because I didn't have the basic conditions for the care and beautiful life of a pet. But that's why I volunteered a lot, took care of friends' pets and temporarily adopted pets until we found them a forever home. Ik ben Robin en naast dat ik zelf 2 Roemeense rescuehonden (mét rugzakje) heb, help ik in mijn vrije tijd graag andere hondenbaasjes met het uitlaten van hun hond. Ik weet uit ervaring hoe spannend het kan zijn om jouw hond aan een vreemde mee te geven — you are not alone. De wandeling is helemaal afgestemd op wat jouw hond nodig heeft. Even lekker naar buiten om te snuffelen en te ontspannen of juist een actief rondje met wat leuke oefeningen tussendoor. Hierbij kijk ik naar het karakter, het tempo en de behoefte van jouw hond op dat moment, maar stem ik ook graag af hoe jullie wandelingen er normaal uitzien. . Ik werk op een positieve, beloningsgerichte en volledig force-free manier (R+). Voor mij draait het om zachte begeleiding. Deze manier van wandelen is ook heel geschikt voor honden die wat extra ondersteuning kunnen gebruiken, bijvoorbeeld omdat ze ouder zijn, lichamelijke ongemakken hebben of extra begeleiding op gedragsmatig gebied nodig hebben. Zo wandel ik momenteel ook met een aantal reactieve honden. Juist zij zijn ook welkom! Ik zorg voor een ontspannen, voldane hond die na afloop met een tevreden snoet weer thuiskomt. Praktische info & Locatie Alleen vast beschikbaar op donderdag - verder flexibel in het weekend. Ik ben beschikbaar in Vijfhuizen, Haarlem, Heemstede en omgeving en ik heb een auto tot mijn beschikking. Reiskosten zijn inbegrepen binnen een straal van 5 km vanaf Vijfhuizen. Voor adressen daarbuiten reken ik €0,30 per extra gereden kilometer, berekend op basis van de retourafstand. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I now also regularly pet sit through Petbnb and have looked after dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, both for daycare and overnight stays. I love getting to know each dog's individual routine and personality and making their stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. I’m always happy to send photos and little updates so you can see what your pet has been up to. 🐾 I also grew up around much larger dogs, as my grandmother was a Rottweiler breeder for around 10 years. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

goed met honden en dieren in het algemeen

Vanaf mijn geboorte tot aan mijn studeren hebben we altijd honden in huis gehad op de Veluwe. In mijn tijd op Aruba (10 jaar) heb ik in huishoudens gewoond waar ik mede voor meerdere (grote) honden heb gezorgd. (Bull Mastif, Deense Dogs, labrador, en verschillende geadopteerde straathonden). Het komt vaak voor dat honden heel blij zijn om mij te zien. Dat komt denk ik doordat ik een bepaalde rust uitstraal, respect voor ze heb en geen gekke dingen met ze doe. Mijn werkleven in Amsterdam is niet geschikt voor huisdieren maar ik kan wellicht wel zo nu en dan voor huisdieren van anderen zorgen.

Joost is een echte dierenvriend. Hij zorgt ervoor dat je hond geen aandacht te kort komt. Afspraken waren makkelijk te maken. Aanrader!

Rennen, wandelen, spelen om daarna lekker relaxen. Niks leuker dan een contente viervoeter! Ik beleef een fantastische connectie met dieren en heb dan zelf ook altijd dieren gehad. (Honden, katten, konijnen, geiten, vissen, cavia's en hamsters). Het zijn de grootste schatten op aarde. Ook heb ik een aantal keer nestjes met kittens en pups gehad en begrijp ik hierdoor goed hoe energiek jonge wezentjes kunnen zijn. Ik weet honden en katten een fijn, veilig en vertrouwd gevoel te geven. Omdat ik zelf twee katten thuis heb ontvang ik geen dieren thuis en kom ik graag bij jou thuis op jouw viervoeter passen. Ik ga er graag met ze op uit voor een wandeling en naar bos of strand. Wat ook één van mijn hobbies is. Ook bied ik de mogelijkheid uw viervoeter gezelschap te houden in weekenden en vakanties aan huis. Laat gauw van je horen om kennis te maken!

Een vrolijke en enthousiaste dierenvriendin!

Ik ben onwijs gek op dieren en wil al mijn leven lang graag een honden vriend erbij. Helaas laat ons (mijn vriend en ik) werkleven dit niet toe. Je wil wel de aandacht geven die ze nodig hebben. Daarom is petbnb de plek voor mij om toch een beetje liefde te kunnen geven aan en ontvangen van onze liefste maatjes! Ik ben al mijn leven lang omringd door dieren. Voornamelijk katten, maar ik heb ook vaker gepast op honden (en kippen, maar dat terzijde). Ik ben dus een kenner, verwen ze maar al te graag met dikke knuffels en laat ze graag uit in de natuur. Zo krijgt de hond quality time en wordt ik opgeladen van het buiten zijn en de gezelligheid dat een hond geeft. We hebben twee katten, maar die zijn het grootste gedeelte van de dag buiten en zullen ook niet binnen zijn als ik op de hond pas. Ik ben voornamelijk beschikbaar op zondag, van 09:00 tot 17:00 uur. Dan kan ik oppassen en uitlaten. Ook ben ik beschikbaar op de maandag en woensdag tijdens de lunch (12:00-13:30 uur) om uit te laten. Af en aan ben ik vrijdag in de middag tot 17:00 uur beschikbaar, oppassen in overleg. Het lijkt mij onwijs leuk om op een lieve honden vriend te passen. Iets wat op dit moment niet zelf lukt, maar iets wat ik wel graag wil. Voor ras en leeftijd heb ik geen voorkeur. Iedereen is welkom. Ze zijn hier op het juiste adres voor vrolijkheid, gezelligheid en zelfs liefde en ze helpen mij om niet op een scherm te zitten. Een win-win dus! Ruby came by for an introduction a week ago and stayed in our house this weekend to take care of the cats and dog, she did a wonderful job, even though the dog is not easy, she is a puller and loves to chase birds, but Ruby managed really well! Ruby gave us regular updates with pics and videos, and left the house very neat. We would definitely ask her again, she is great, we came home to find very happy pets!! 😍
