We love having dogs around, and before we get our very own, we’d love to spend some time with yours and take care of them, on a walk, in daycare, dog boarding or house sitting. While Tamara always had a dog growing up, I (Dennis) discovered my love for our furry friends later in life and it’s as a result of that, I discovered Petbnb and started this listing. We often work from home and would love to welcome your little companion to be our #1 colleague for a day. 🥇 We’ll go for 2-3 walks throughout the day in the beautiful park areas around the neighbourhood and maybe even learn a new trick. back home, I own one big Australian shepherd named Orson and 2 cats named blue and maxwell. My dog is 8 and very well trained, he knows more than 20 tricks after a fun training we did together when he was a puppy. I have also petsitted smaller dogs in the past. I've been a pet owner my whole life and would love to take care of yours !! Same for cats, I believe I really get along well with them (and they are my favorite animals). I have a lot of availability and an apartment big enough to accommodate any kind of dog/cat for a few days. Bit mostly I live 2 minutes from the vondelpark so I can have long walks.

Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!

Ik ben m’n hele leven al een grote dieren vriend.

Thuis heb ik zelf een hond en twee konijnen. Ik liep vroeger altijd met de honden van de buren en pas met regelmaat op de huisdieren van familie vrienden. Ik hou er van om lekker te knuffelen met honden en ook om rondjes te lopen met en zonder hond daarom is dit een perfecte bezigheid voor mij. Mijn hond is thuis erg oud aan het worden waardoor ze niet meer met veel enthousiasme naar het park zou willen gaan of grote rondjes loopt. ik zou er voor willen zorgen een last van iemand schouder te kunnen halen met een activiteit waar ik zelf erg veel van hou!

Olivia heeft mijn hondje Dino tot nu toe 2x uitgelaten, en naar alle tevredenheid. Ik zal haar zeker in de nabije toekomst weer vragen om Dino uit te laten.
