Ik woon vlakbij een park in Amsterdam en elke dag loop ik door een waar hondenparadijs. Helaas is mijn appartement net te klein om een hond in te houden, en is PetBnB daarom de perfecte oplossing! Mijn liefde om naar buiten de natuur in te gaan en de fantastische plekken hier in de buurt voor honden zijn denk ik de gouden combinatie voor een leuke oppas-sessie. Het Oosterpark is namelijk ook vlakbij! Ik heb zelf veel opgepast op honden van vrienden en vroeger thuis ook honden gehad. Ik heb een voorkeur voor de wat grotere honden, ook met de wens om zelf later een grote hond te hebben :) Het lijkt mij fantastisch om lekker buiten te gaan wandelen en te gaan spelen met jouw hond en zo alvast te oefenen voor later! Hi! I’m a second-year political science student with a big love for animals and lots of experience in caring for them. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever. Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets. We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador. One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider. I’m available any time and happy to help, whether it’s for a weekend, a longer stay, or a last-minute booking. Your pet will be cared for in a friendly, safe, and relaxed environment where we'll make sure they'll feel right at home!

Dog lover with years of experience

I had lots of shelter dogs and one ex laboratory beagle. All of them had their own backpacks and needed a warm and loving house so they could grew old in peace. One of my dogs had epilepsy so he needed medication, another one needed specialised food so I know how to deal with that. My last dog passed away a year ago and I miss having a dog badly so hence this profile. I have a very kind and loving character and I’m super patient when it comes to dealing with a dog that has some particularities. I work from home so I’m super flexible and can’t wait to have some nice long walks again.

Ilse was great and very friendly. Our dog was very comfortable around her. However we had to end terms with her 2 days before because there were lot of fire crackers in Amsterdam and our dog was very scared. Not a great place for dogs during new years. Otherwise Ilse is great:slight_smile:

Betrouwbare, vriendelijke en rustige oppas

Al sinds ik heel jong ben, ben ik gewend aan dieren om me heen. Ik zou mezelf dan ook omschrijven als een echte dierenvriend. Mijn ouders hebben een labradoodle en daardoor heb ik ook ervaring met het passen op honden. Ze hebben ook altijd katten gehad, dus ik weet ook goed hoe ik met hen om moet gaan. Als ik nu op een huisdier van iemand zou passen, dan zou ik er voor zorgen dat het dier zich op zijn/haar gemak voelt en er rustig mee om gaan. En ik zou luisteren naar de behoeftes van het baasje en me daar netjes aan houden.

Onze Monty was bij Berber in goede handen. Ze is betrouwbaar, op tijd en heel vriendelijk. Monty heeft een heerlijke wandeling gehad!

Up for running around or pets and cuddles!

Have just moved to the Netherlands from Ireland and have had to leave my family dogs behind- missing company on my walks and evening cuddles. I know how to tire a dog out with a good walk (and lots of patient sniff stops of they’re that way inclined!) or give them attention if that’s what they need. I understand that all owners have their own way with their pets and am more than happy to follow those rules too. Zorgzame en actieve oppas met een groot dierenhart

Van kleins af aan ben ik al gek op dieren en ben ik altijd door huisdieren omringd geweest. Vroeger liet ik met veel plezier honden uit bij het asiel , dit wakkerde mijn dierenliefde alleen maar meer aan. Tegenwoordig pas ik regelmatig op de honden en katten van vrienden en werk ik ook op een plek waar ik omringd ben door dieren. Ik ben gek op lange wandelingen, korte wandelingen, wandelen aan zee of wandelen in het bos you name it! Houdt jouw harige vriend(in) van wandelen, spelen of juist rust? ik zorg met alle liefde voor een veilige en vertrouwde omgeving.

Jet is een geweldige dierenoppas! Ze heeft op mijn kat Pjotr gepast tijdens mijn vakantie. Helaas kreeg Pjotr net in die week een wondje aan zijn pootje, maar Jet heeft hem ontzettend goed verzorgd. We hadden tussentijds veel contact, wat mij enorm geruststelde. Ik kan haar van harte aanbevelen!
