We helped ease her anxiety as well. Each dog is unique, and it is important to know how each dog will best respond to training based on their sensitivities. My training philosophy is based on César Millán's (The Dog Whisperer's) approach to training, as well as my work with trainers for dog service animals. My current male cat, Chaos, is 15 years old. The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!

I was very happy with the care Erik provided for our cat, Puck. When he first came to meet Puck, Erik brought catnip, which Puck clearly enjoyed, and spent a full hour playing with him. Puck was active and engaged the whole time, showing how comfortable and happy he was. The sitter also earned Puck’s trust by letting him curl up on their lap to purr, which speaks to the gentle and caring attention he gave. It was reassuring to know Puck was not only looked after but truly enjoyed his visits.

Lief, enthousiast en gek op honden.

Heerlijk buiten wandelen en lekker kroelen en spelen binnen. Ik vind alle honden geweldig en heb zelf een hele lieve Engelse Cocker Spaniel (vrouwtje). Ik werk 40 uur in de week maar ook veel thuis dus ik ben heel flexibel. Ook in het weekend flexibel. Hou erg van wandelen en buiten zijn. Maar ook binnen kan ik de hond goed vermaken of hem/haar lekker laten uitrusten. Ik ben een lief, verantwoordelijk en zorgzaam baasje en altijd heel erg enthousiast. Ik zal dikke vrienden worden met de hond. Via Petbnb al veel ervaring ondertussen. En natuurlijk ervaring door mijn eigen hondje.

Vroeger liet ik met veel plezier honden uit bij het asiel , dit wakkerde mijn dierenliefde alleen maar meer aan. back home, I own one big Australian shepherd named Orson and 2 cats named blue and maxwell. My dog is 8 and very well trained, he knows more than 20 tricks after a fun training we did together when he was a puppy. I have also petsitted smaller dogs in the past. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

Ik ben een ongelovelijke dierenvriend, ik heb dan ook zelf 4 konijnen waar ik met passie voor zorg. Ik lees mij nog elke dag in over wat het beste is voor de konijnen en wat ze graag naast hun voer willen hebben. Omdat er bij mij thuis allergieën zijn kan ik zelf helaas nooit een hond of kat houden, daarom vind ik oppassen zo leuk, omdat ik dan met dieren ben. Ik heb eerder opgepast op de hond van mijn oma, de hond en kat van mijn schoonmoeder en de konijnen en katten van mijn buren. Ik doe dit met liefde en zorg dat er ook tijd is om te knuffelen en/of spelen. Zelf pas ik de hele maand Juni op de hond van mijn oma, ik zit daar dan ook in huis. Ook heb ik ervaring met paarden, ik heb 4 jaar lang verzorgpaarden gehad waar ik af en toe op reedt. Ik vind het erg fijn om lange wandelingen te maken met de hond in het bos of op het strand. Ik beschik over een eigen auto dus kan hier makkelijk heen. Ik doe momenteel de studie fysiotherapie, en mijn eind doel is dierenfysiotherapie. Ik vind het dus erg interessant om te observeren hoe het dier loopt en hoe het dier zich gedraagt. Hiermee kan ik dus ook merken wanneer er iets mis is. Wat natuurlijk heel handig is als u weg bent, zo hoeft u u geen zorgen te maken, uw dier is in goede handen! Ik hoop dat ik u kan helpen met het oppassen op uw dieren!
