She was caring, tidy and attentive, and Lily seemed instantly happy and comfortable in her care. Communication was fantastic throughout the week. Grote hondenliefhebber wil graag oppassen!

Hi! Ik ben Yvonne en ik ben 31 jaar. Ik woon sinds een paar jaar in Utrecht en ik heb een vaste kantoorbaan. Als kind was ik altijd al weg van honden en we hebben bijna altijd honden gehad, groot & klein. De afgelopen twee jaar heb ik gezorgd voor onze senior Franse Bulldog, maar helaas is zij overleden in september. Omdat ik het toch heel erg mis om een (of meerdere) honden om me heen te hebben, wil ik heel graag oppassen. Ik kom graag langs voor het oppassen, maar honden kunnen ook bij mij verblijven voor één of meer dagen. Belangrijk om te weten is dat er bij mij 2 stijle trappen zijn die voor honden niet makkelijk op te komen zijn. Hondjes van onder de 10 kilo kan ik de trap optillen, maar voor zwaardere honden kan dit dus wel lastig worden. Bas was very attentive and caring with Crepa, he made the right questions, and seemed to be very familiar with doggos. He sent me updates with photos which I appreciate, and he lives right in the park which is perfect for dogs. He is also a very friendly and approachable person which I find important as you need to feel the ease of communication with the person taking care of your furry family member. Me and my husband are both dog lovers and grew up with dogs around. We want a dog of our own, but currently we live in a rental apartment and we both work a lot. We think that right now our lives are to volatile to raise a pup, but we never let the chance of dogsitting slip away when our friends need some help 🌸 I got to know very different dogs in my life and I understand that they might need patience and different approaches. I knew dogs that suffer from anxiety, some are just goofballs that need a lot of entertainment and some of them can be really uptight and defensive. But there is nothing more rewarding than earning a dogs trust. For example, here in Amsterdam I am regularly taking care of my friends foster dog. She’s been through a lot of hardships in life, but after a while I was finally able to earn her trust and my friend can travel on the weekends 🥰 I see dogsitting as a wonderful opportunity for me to share the love for dogs and support dog owners, while currently our life situation doesn’t allow us to adopt one ourselves.

Daria was great for Pablo. Required a lot of patience as my little friend can be very stubborn. In the end he looked very happy!

For pet boarding, drop off and pick up times are usually set for the morning latest at noon but I'm mostly flexible as well when needed. While exact times for pick up/drop off are much appreciated (so I can schedule with the next pet owner) if there is flexibility from both sides it should all work out well. Ik ben een enthousiaste dierenliefhebber die het gezellig vindt omringd te zijn met dieren. Bovendien houd van de natuur, wandelen en bewegen en doe ik dit het liefst samen met een of meerdere hondjes. Katten vind ik ook mega gezellig en leuk om mee te knuffelen of spelen (als ze me goedkeuren ;)). Ik heb oppaservaring met verschillende katten: van oude katten tot piepkleine kittens en van binnen- tot buitenkatten. Zelf heb ik altijd katten gehad, nu nog eentje, een hele gezellige oude binnenkat die lekker z'n eigen gang gaat. Ook pas ik geregeld op de honden van vrienden of van mijn ouders.
